We have moved multiple times in east cost always use the same mover from NY. This time thought of trying a NJ based mover. Here are the issues 1.Lack of professional behavior. They came inside saw that entryway table had a few bills picked them up asked me which currency it is. 2. One of the kitchen packers opens lid of my spice box (I had leaves and chillies puts his nose in sniffs and asks what is it? 3. Packed every little thing in white wrapper so unpacking was hell. Single stainless steel spoon wrapped in 4 layers of packing . 4. Who does this .packing open can of bleach with groceries. While unpacking I saw white dust thought its paint once I hit end of box it was bleach so ended up throwing everything from that box. Which professional mover does that 5. Random packing. I had very organized closet but they picked random items and packed in diff boxes so i had box with sweaters pillow covers photo frames and belts all from diff parts of closet. LASTLY we were given pricing we paid that by bill and paid $800 extra over that without receipt as they demanded that they packed box. When vector gave me a quote it included 10 medium boxes $20 per box but the guys packed everything with white wrapper in kitten not one but 4 sheets and increased boxes packed to 30 , unethically charging us for small boxes stuffed with white paper. Please note it was a very painful experience and no one deserves this kind of billing or nonsense

When my husband left a poor review, they said they would pay to have it removed. He accepted without thinking. We had hardly unpacked all the boxes. We knew all the kitchen stuff was missing. But after opening everything, the truth became clear. I am still heartbroken about what is missing. But there is nothing I can do now except warn others! Don't do it, go somewhere else. Better yet, do your own box counting system. Don't trust theirs.

The job estimate was 5-6 hours based on the my inventory and the job finished in 5. Eugene called the night before with an estimated start time, sent a text the morning of with a 30 minute warning, and arrived on time. My crew consisted on Eugene, Serge & Nazar. I did a walk through with Eugene upon arrival of the rooms and items that would be moved and to where at the new location. Upon arrival at my new home, we again walked through to ensure the team understood the labeling on the boxes and home layout. When in doubt, the team asked instead of just dumping boxes in the wrong place. Prior to leaving Eugene asked if I wanted anything moved to different rooms,and straightened out my area rug after the furniture was already placed on it. They carefully wrapped furniture and mattresses with their supplies at no additional charge prior to moving, and removed the wrap and trash from the new home. Bonus: Nothing broken, damaged or lost! It's so easy to underestimate and get a different price at the end. Also, I know I wanted packers because its speeds up the entire process of moving and settling in. I'm so glad I did with Roadway. It usually takes me over half a week to pack and be stressed for over a week, but Diego and his 3 teammates packed up our studio in 2-3 hours. They're so professional. They moved so quickly with care and accuracy. Most importantly, all my kitchen appliances were wrapped with care and delivered and arrived to my new apartment in the same condition. It took us about 2 hrs to settle in, and they once again unpacked most of the furnitures and reassembled them, making me feel settled in and relaxed. I cannot thank their team enough. Before they even arrived, I got a tracking link to follow their location just like Uber, which immediately made me feel at ease. Crisanto and his crew showed up right on time and were incredible. They worked quickly but carefully, wrapping all of my furniture and somehow managing three giant mirrors without a single issue. Not one complaint and not one moment of stress. What really stood out was how above and beyond they went. They helped me figure out which part of my couch would actually fit in my space, laid out my rugs, and organized everything so I could still move around my studio comfortably. Also shoutout to one of the crew members who was on his first day. You truly could not tell. The whole team was professional, efficient, and just genuinely great to work with. None of these ended up coming to fruition. - the Rando he got to transport my car was horrible. Lack of communication or updates. Ended up delivering the car two or three days later than promised (meaning I missed being able to inspect the car). And throughout the process was full of lies regarding arrival time and why he wasn't delivering on time. - car was damaged during transport but because I was out of town for 2 months after the fact and wasn't able to confirm and share this with Eric (because it was delivered late) I had no recourse for costs to fix the damage. - finally, In reviewing his end of year books, Eric got confused about a voided transaction (I had been charged twice initially and there was a void in his books). He assumed that it was me doing it due to my dissatisfaction and charged my credit card again without confirming the issue with me. He left messages while I was in a meeting and then charged my card without confirming. When I called, he apologized for his angry action but for someone who highlights professionalism amongst his traits, I feel this was way out of line. I was going to just leave things as is and not write a review and leave things as they were in August but given the action he took today I felt compelled to warn others.

Note, I didn't rely on Elite to choose colors, I spent hours doing that on my own. You have a project manager, texts to remind you of appointments and follow-ups to check with your satisfaction while they are painting. And the jobs are simply excellent. Friends complain about seeing brush strokes, windows that are painted shut, paint drips on the floor. I never had to worry about this. The work is exemplary. I can recommend them without hesitation.

This started with cleaning all roof gutters and ensuring that all leaders and downspouts were not clogged by thoroughly flushing them. They then applied their chemical agent via spray method to kill any and all mold, mildew, algae and moss that was present on the cedar shingles. After a short period of time they used a wide spray power washing to rinse and flush all of the dead remains of that organic growth, as well as any tree sap from the roof. They also performed spot cleaning of selected areas of our stucco facades, masonry chimney and flagstone terrace where stubborn dirt had collected on the surface. They completed their work to my complete satisfaction in one day and cleaned up after themselves. All in all, once again, I can and do highly recommend TruCLEAN Wash for this type of roof cleaning, for cedar shingles, as well as slate and/or terra cotta roof tiles that become stained from mildew, mold, moss, sap and other tree droppings, as well as general air pollution. Andrea and her team at Smartly Organized were by far the smartest investment I made as I moved from my home of 30+ years into a new space. They arrived ready to work (descending like a swat team of organizing angels) and were tireless in both their energy and upbeat attitudes from the moment they arrived until the moment they left. Throughout the 9+ hours they were in my home they were consummate professionals, incredibly thoughtful (one angel even taking the time to glue together a precious item that was found broken as we were unpacking), efficient, super organized, and a pleasure to work along side. By the time they left, a job that would have taken my husband and I (mere mortals) a month or more to get through was complete and our space transformed -- our kitchen cabinets, master-bath, and master closets, in particular, were something to behold! My only regret, that I didn't hire them to help me pack up the home I was moving from! We could have saved ourselves a ton of time and unnecessary packing on the move-out side. I can't say enough good things about Smartly Organized and how well they came in to assess the situation, pick a date, and deliver professional services. My garage was a disaster. It was embarrassing. It wasn't that we were dirty, although I am sure she would help with any space, judgement free. We just had years of accumulation of toys and balls and sports gear, and there was truly never a good time to go through each of those pieces to decide whether to keep it or not. And then the hassle of having to lug all the stuff or donate it or sell it.... Too many decisions to make about things that were not very important, so I never made the decisions, and I never decluttered. After planning in advance, and using my own storage stuff and bringing some of her own, she accomplished with her team in six hours would take me probably a month. I didn't have that time, nor that skill, to be able to do that. She was on site the whole time and activated her team to transform my garage in one day. I no longer feel stressed coming in through my garage into my home. Andrea and her team helped me prepare for an overseas move. Andrea is extremely knowledgeable about the entire process and explained how the movers will pack up your house at lightening speed, working in multiple rooms at once. One needs to have everything clearly labeled and grouped or furniture and household items can be shipped overseas or sent to long-term storage incorrectly. She definitely saved me from making some very costly mistakes! She began by calmly assessing our home and our needs, and writing a summary action plan to get me started. She and her team then organized large areas of my home and prepared for the movers. Her team was professional and efficient, requiring very little direction. I have not stopped collecting, storing, hoarding "stuff" since moving from a small apartment in NYC to a house in the burbs (house + kids and all their "stuff" ahhhhh!!!) We are currently undergoing a renovation in the area where all that "stuff" was being stored and my husband and I realized we were feeling overwhelmed by all that was piling up! We hired Andrea and the magic began! After only 3 hours of hard work the basement was cleared out, junk was hauled off, items were donated, old documents shredded- we have purged and now are organizing!!! Even friends who come in my apartment are shocked with how picture perfect this place is. Well. The only positive thing I have to say about this company is that my things arrived to the…read morelocation. It started off great, they packed everything up, I even helped these people who seemed like they'd be really hard working and get me into my apartment in one shot. Welp, I was very wrong. I moved to a basement apartment and like many New Yorkers I was moving furniture like couches and beds. I'm laying in a bed that I can't even push to a different side of the room because the bed frame was put on so carelessly, it will fall right off. I instructed them to put all the wardrobe boxes in the bedroom as well as bins. Why are there still 2 wardrobe boxes in my kitchen and plenty of space in the bedroom. And the most infuriating of all. My beautiful couches are sitting outside because they refused to give it a real effort. A 3 person sofa and a love seat. They stuck the 3 person sofa through the door frame and in about 3 minutes and not shedding one more drop off sweat the owner decided he refused to keep Trying. It was a major energy of "I know best" because you know, women don't know anything if they don't physically do it themselves??? He promptly put it back on the front of the house and his partner began tellling me how it'll be fine i can sell it reallly quick. They picked up my things from storage. I didn't pay a years worth of storage to tell it. After I sat there like WTF am I supposed to do, 5 feet tall starting at large belongings I can't move myself, I was so disappointed. And because I am a good person (or a huge pushover) I still tipped them. My family member reached out in outrage on my behalf (and my approval) pleading for them to come back and help me. I had taken door measurements to show they'd fit. He said no. She asked if I could get any money back because of this LARGE INCONVENIENCE, and he still said no. $550 for "moving" $100 tip 1 star Yelp review Run. You get what you pay for.

This was my first time using movers and I could have went with a time-tested big name moving company, but alas, I love working with local small businesses. I read all of his reviews beforehand and the only negative one seemed to come from a crazy lady (the couch physically couldn't fit the door, how are you going to give one star for that?), so I crossed my fingers and went with it. Filip responded to all of my questions quickly and best of all, had a flat rate for the entire move. He showed up ON TIME and all of my things arrived in excellent condition. I'm very happy to report that the negative review was, in fact, an outlier. Filip did a wonderful job and I will be recommending him to all of my friends!

I needed a mover at the very last minute. I contacted Quick Movers via Yelp the night before my…read moremove and they (Nick) were extremely responsive and helpful, and were able to book me for the next morning at a reasonable rate. Since we only had 20 boxes and they were being moved to a storage facility, I agreed to be a pit stop in the middle of someone else's move. This means if the first move pickup took longer than expected, I had to wait. Which I did, for 6.5 hours. When the movers did arrive, they were very efficient and had a positive attitude. They moved all of our stuff successfully in less than an hour. For the 20 boxes, from Williamsburg to Clinton Hill, they charged $295, which is their minimum. I payed via Zelle, which was convenient. Super grateful for their help in our 11th hour, for the great customer service, good price, and efficiency during the move.
