I just finished having the Smart Shield security system installed in my home. Not only was the salesman, Ron, extremely friendly and knowledgeable, he didn't try to upsell me on anything I don't need. The installer, Tony, was right on time and finished within the timeframe that was estimated. He was thorough and happily accommodated a couple of changes I had. He was very patient in instructing me how to use the system. I know I will feel much more secure having this system in my home. I would highly recommend Smart Shield if you are considering a security system for your home. read more

After a few scares in my neighborhood, I decided to upgrade my Ring systems to a professional system and I'm very pleased with Smart Shield. I hate shopping around so I didn't, but I went off their reviews on Yelp and they were all correct. My friend even said that the price was great! From the sales, to the installation, everything went great. Yud and Tony were wonderful on the install and super professional and respectful. Even with dealing with my 3 dogs (one of who kept escaping the yard). Highly recommend!! read more

Smart Shield installed my home alarm system and did an excellent job. I first met with Ron who answered all of my questions. He then proceeded to give me his input on options that would work for me. Ron informed me of all my options but was never pushy or tried to get me to add things I did not need. I then met with Tony who installed the system. Tony was very professional, neat and thorough. Once the install was complete, Tony went over every part of the system with me. Prior to contacting Smart Shield I did my homework and looked into several other Alarm Companies. Smart Shield definitely stood out from all the other companies. I'm glad I chose Smart Shield. If your looking for an Alarm Company Smart Shield should be at the top of your list. read more

Everyone at Smart Shield has been so helpful and we're so happy we went with them as our home security providers. Having the ability to control so many features in our home from our smart phones has been great. They are always available to help with any questions that come up! Today my son opened a window when the house was armed and I received a call within 2 minutes, so that made me feel even better about our decision to go with Smart Shield! We are definitely sleeping better at night knowing we have that extra layer of protection! Thank you Smart Shield!! read more

This company was reccommended to me by a friend when my office was broken into after hours. From start to finish and ongoing I am extremely satisfied with them. They are a smaller more focused company vs. the corporate type (ADT, COX etc.) which I really love. The install tech was very knowlegable, professional, and did a really clean install. The tech support was phenominal no matter what or how many time I called (a lot) they were always responsive to my needs. the hardware and software are high quality. I really enjoy how easy the system is to manage from anywhere I have cell service. Oh and the sales guy Ryan I think his name was, was fantastic. Sincere, didn't try to upsell me stuff I didn't need or want. I highly reccommend this company and their service. read more

I have been a customer of another company before moving to San Diego. My realtor recommended some other company, but after several phone calls when they couldn't answer any questions (only more of the marketing/promotional info), I decided to look elsewhere. Based on the reviews, I decided to give Smart Shield a try. Ron came out the same day and was able to answer all of my questions (I am a geek, so asked a lot of technical questions). No smoke, just the truth. Their team came out a day later to install. The house is 15 years old and had an existing hard-wired infrastructure. Tony was able to utilize what I had and, after checking each connection, found that two of my contacts were not functioning, so he replaced them with wireless ones. The house is now fully alarmed. We also had them install cameras on the perimeter, which took Yud and Mike all day to do. (I was a bit fussy about where wires showed, etc., but they accommodated my desires.) The cameras work great. They also installed a controller for the garage and a connected lock with a number panel for entry. Their equipment is Alarm.Com gear. It works really well and the UI is pretty good. Sophisticated enough for me to do what I want and simple enough that my wife is totally pleased. I like the fact that I can customize the alerts, add users myself, and configure the system. It even allows me to set up a unique code for cleaners and workmen and only give them access on certain days between certain hours. Great service and a great product! read more

After moving into our new home, we knew that installing a good security system was high on our to-do list. We researched quite a few companies and interviewed a couple of them before finding Smart Shield. From our very first contact with Ron in sales, to our experience with Yud and Tony during installation, to our discussions with Keren and Sharon regarding our account, we have been so impressed. We wanted a comprehensive security system (with flood lights, video cameras, motion and flood sensors, etc.) that could integrate with "smart home" devices. The Smart Shield team was extremely helpful and thorough in assuring that we were happy with the ultimate system - and they keep working hard to change/improve things until you are satisfied. Thanks, Smart Shield - we know we are safe in your hands! read more

Outstanding customer service! Leaving my old security system behind was a little scary at first but from the get go, Ryan/Regional Director made any concerns I had go away. Thank you Smart Shield for making my transition to a new security system a breeze! Respectfully, Jason A. read more

What a difference this system has made in my every day living. The ability to manage not only the security of my home, but also being able to manage the automated features has been amazing. I can set my alarm, lock/unlock the front door, see who's at my door via the doorbell camera, have a conversation with whoever is at my door, monitor multiple security cameras, turn on/off lights, adjust the thermostat, and so much more from one simple, user friendly app. I'd HIGHLY suggest using Smart Shield Systems for all of your home security and home automation needs, as they offer superior customer service, outstanding products, and competitive pricing. Great experience all around! The initial visit and the installation were both on time and professional yet friendly. No pushy sales tactics, no suprises. The install was quick and clean and the system works like a charm. I've had some very bad experiences with 'the big guys' security companies, so it was important to have one that made us feel confidant in our choice -- this was the one. read more

My parents had ADT for as long as I can remember, we were not happy with the quality of service and equipment and we started looking around. We came across smart Shield on yelp due to great reviews here. We are happy to join, as people who got great service and great products from smart Shield. They made it a very easy transition. They completed the job in 6 hours and left it very clean. The tech was great in explaining the system to us and the office was great all along. Smart shield are the best! read more

I put out a message I needed an alarm system to 4 different companies. Ron with Smart Shield Systems was the first to respond. That didn't necessarily mean I would go with them. Ron followed up a couple times to find out which time worked best for my wife and I to hear about their services. He came on a Saturday at 4:00. He was on time and respectful. When he left my wife and I felt we had great knowledge on how everything worked. The pricing was great. We worked out the perfect plan for our household. They came 4 days later on a Wednesday to install. The install process was just as comfortable and easy as the consult. The two technicians were easy to work with and great with the dog, my kids and my wife. They were on time and stayed on task. This is more than an alarm. It's a great piece of mind with 3 kids in the house ages ranging from 7-15. I would highly recommend this system to anyone. read more

From apples to caviar!! ....No literally! This review is coming from a formal ADT customer that was just blown away on how out dated I was with ADT. Smart Shield Systems(SSS) has steered me towards the next generation of smart technology! SSS has all the new tech gizmos you want on a smart panel security system. With just the standard equipment your home will instantly be transitioned to a smart home. The service from the initial call to the final installation was anxiety free and informative. Let's just say that I was impressed by the representatives customer service and how he walked me through the process , and come to find out that it was the manager Ron!!! Need I say more? Well I'm going to, and it's probably the most important information for all possible customers....the price!! Competitive and unbeatable pricing . We have been shopping around for a system that will allow me to be notified when someone is at my front door, camera monitoring/ recording with clear picture, and if windows and doors are opened to help us protect our Special Needs son when he tries to elope. Ron came out to inspect our house and gave us a run down on everything. He's the owner so it was comforting to hear the owner comes out and takes care of the initial meet and great. Very nice and professional, he does not try to up sell but more inform you on the options. When doing your free consultation I suggest asking the following questions: 1)What sensors are best for my house and how many do I need? 2) What is included with installation and what do I need to pay for? 2) What options can work for my budget? 3) What are the installation and activation fees? A lot of this is straight forward and they go over it but it's always good to ask for your own clarification. Last, Tony our tech came out, informed us on everything and did a speedy install. I haven't had to deal with any customer service yet so I can't comment on that. However, in regards to information, quality, service and installation they are top notch! read more

Smart Shield systems installed a comprehensive security system in our new property in San Diego. They were not the lowest priced proposal, however they comparatively offered better quality components for our system. They presented well during the evaluation appointment, they seemed to really know the products , were timely in the subsequent installation. Easy to work with, There was attention to detail and consideration for what our goals were. We are satisfied with the results and we would absolutely recommend their services. I like the app , it is very easy to use, and the smart system really gives me a lot of customizable options. The cameras give us a full super clear view in real time of the entire surroundings of the property , with the ability to set up a perimeter guard and many other options which I haven't had time to explore yet. We have not yet experienced the monitoring service but I am assuming it will be up to par with everything else. read more

With the rise of burglaries in our area, I was relieved after Rotem set me up with Smart Shield Security Systems for my home. Anthony's professionalism and pleasant demeanor was a plus. Smart Shields Systems gives me confidence that my home is now secured. Thank you!! Manny M. read more

I would recommend this Co. over any other security system. They treat you like a person not an account.

After buying a business 7 years ago we took over the former owners alarm companies contract. We had a few instances where we needed help and the old panel was beyond the help lines ability to diagnose. When I asked about upgrading I was told that I would have to pay for a service call and the new equipment. Since my contract was up I contacted Smart Shield and I couldn't be happier. My system is much more advanced and comes with an included app and website so I can see when the alarm is set and disarmed and by whom. I can't say enough about how nice and professional everyone I have dealt with at Smart Shield is. Very happy I made the move. read more

Number 1 security company in Socal! They let you feel like family, I'm so happy I've installed the smart shield with all the bells & whistles and cameras that I can enjoy myself and family when we are out or just at the house. Thank god for these security companies! We had a break in a few months ago and were planning on buying a home kit with cameras and self-monitoring for someone to install. Well, I thought that Smart Shield Systems does that, but they provide their own equipment and do central monitoring. I did not know the importance of central monitoring! I am connected now to police and fire services, meaning that if anything happens, I do not need to call, services are automatically notified. In addition, when my alarm goes off, I can communicate directly with the monitoring station because they can hear me through the 2 way voice panel! Love it! read more
