I came in with my 13 year old little sister to get her nails done for the first time. She wanted an acrylic full set in an almond shape. As Hazel was gluing on the nails, she told my little sister that they charge by length, so my sister said she wanted it short anyways. Once she finished gluing them on, she put the nail cutter at a short length and said it was $25 and that if she wanted it longer, it would be $30.
Out of nowhere, the guy who was standing at the reception desk (Tommy) was not aware that we were also Vietnamese and said "cut it short" in that language. Then he came over, and said "No this length is $30, $25 looks like this...". My sister was persistent on paying only $25 as it was coming out of her own pocket, so she allowed him to make the length even shorter. He started doing Hazel's job and cut off all the nails extremely short then walked off. It was SO short that it was impossible to even have the almond shape my sister wanted. She ended up with uneven, square shaped nails that don't even look like she got them "professionally" done.
The customer service level here is a -100000 in my opinion. I would not even give them 1 star if I had a choice. I've never even heard of a place that charges by length. They literally want to grab every single penny of yours and the nail job was horrible!! The nails are filed uneven and not even the same length. I was literally sitting there in complete disappointment and regretful that I did not say anything to their face. I was SO upset that I had to make a yelp account just to tell my experience. I am damn sure that I will be NEVER COMING BACK THERE AGAIN!!!!! UGH!! read more
