The windows arrived and the install team was fantastic. Doug, Wayne, Wes and Rick were all very friendly, prompt, courteous, and did a quality install job. As they found problems, they went out of their way to fix them. In one case, the board under one of the large windows was completely rotten. You might think that seems like a fishy tactic to lure in customers for shoddy work. Definitely not the case here! Scheduling the appointment was a breeze and the technician let me know when he was on the way. My issue was a dead circuit board in my 20 year old garage door opener. The tech went over the replacement options along with clear and upfront pricing. Once I decided, he was able to do the install right away! While he was there he went ahead and gave my other garage a tune-up as well. Both doors are quieter and smoother than they have ever been. It's actually kind of amazing how much better they are now. Lonnie took my call, answered all my questions, and quoted me a fair price based on what other such installations have cost. A month later I called them and scheduled the installation. (Needed to get some electrical work done first.) When Adam arrived he did some quick measurements based on how the garage doors opened and informed me that the track for the belt drive openers wouldn't fit since I had such a low ceiling. He took photos and discussed it with Nick, the Service Manager. After some serious discussions a solution was found and thanks to the exceptional team of Adam, Nick, and Lonnie I now have excellent garage door openers and an answer why previous owners never installed them. When the installer informed me during installation that the door was an incorrect color, the Pella salesman assured me he was handling the swapping out of the still-packaged door with a door of the same type but correct color. Seems pretty simple right? It's now July 2023 and I was very surprised when Pella told me two weeks ago that my project "slipped under the rug". Very frustrating and I still have no storm door three months after the start of my project. Update: I did finally receive a call informing that the door is now on order.

The owner immediately went into CYA mode & denied all liability for repairing the damage. The HVAC company in turn blamed this company who repeatedly denied any responsibility for paying for the repairs. I was going to be out $1400+ to fix the unit, but ultimately HVAC company did cover the cost. The owner of D&G went so far as to contact the county I live in, another neighboring county along with the city I live in all in an effort to prove he had no liability for the damage done during the replacement of the roof. I also had to contact the Better Business Bureau to get the refund check from the company for the unused materials I had paid for upfront. All in all, I would not recommend the company due to poor customer service I received after the owner insured he was paid for the job in full within 3 days of completion.
