Quality Exterior's price with the tear off, was lower than other quotes- without the price of the tear off. They were here for about 3 weeks- and did all the roofs. The craftsmanship was outstanding. They also replaced a concrete slab porch, and did a remodel of an outside porch that had been closed in a long time ago for me. Everything they did- was absolutely top notch, with fantastic attention to detail. I've got a much larger project coming up - a total house rebuild- and they will be doing that.

Their quote was competitive, and while they're not the cheapest option out there, they use top-quality products. My roof actually ended up as an upgrade from what I had before. From the first call to the final cleanup, everything was easy. Timely estimate, great communication, and a crew that was both friendly and efficient. I have a large roof, and they showed up early, knocked the whole job out in a single day, and cleaned up so thoroughly that my landscaping might have actually looked a little better after they left. I wanted to replace it with similar siding because it seemed to be very durable. Replacement was necessary because the original siding was improperly installed and the planks were falling off the house. I repeatedly had planks replaced and paint never matched original siding properly. So I chose to replace the entire siding. My research identified James Hardie as an excellent siding; and it seems quite durable, has a decent warranty, and looks nice. I chose EMA Construction to install because of their long term experience with James Hardie siding, and previous customer reviews. So I am confident I have a good product that was properly installed. Eddie provided the estimate and stayed in contact with me during the project. The installer team was excellent. They commenced work as expected and completed on schedule.. in spite of several rainy days. One area of the house required custom cutting of the planks lengthwise and at a slight angle. The team did an excellent job custom fitting the siding to this area. The total install, including flashing, caulking, and siding fit are all excellent. Total results and cleanup was also perfect. The install team (Nico, Blake and Eric) was professional and friendly and explained what they were doing throughout. I would hire them again should the occasion arise.

Our gutters were falling off our house and anytime it rained, no matter how little, our basement…read morewould get water. We called Mater Roofers and they were there the next day to inspect them and give us a quote. Our house has had a few additions so it has really weird gutters and a lot of downspouts. It is also surrounded my pine trees so getting gutter guards was an absolute must as well. They gave us a quote and it was very reasonable for the amount we would need replaced and the labor to do it. It did take them three weeks to get all the material and schedule the install. They showed up with 5 guys and had all the gutter taken off and replaced with full gutter guards in 5 hours. It was very impressive. They had someone come out a few days later to do the final inspection. We also waited until it rained to let them know if everything was working properly. Since we've had them replaced, we have not had any water in our basement. The only thing we didn't love is they were not very careful during the install. They completely trampled our flower beds. I would understand if a few were to get stepped on, but yearly every flower was smashed and killed. They also left a nail from the old gutters on our driveway. I'm sure this was just something they overlooked, but if we didn't see that it could have caused some real damage.

A+ Home Remodeling Experience After scanning the internet…read morefor a company in the Dayton area for roofs, siding, soffits and some other outside updates, we were led to Dayton Roof and Remodeling. Chuck, along with his son, was quick to respond, listen to our needs, give us estimates, and remain in constant communication with us. Pictures were taken to show us what needed our attention and a scheduling of services began. We did not know that our chimney needed repair. One of his crew came prior to any roofing being installed to restore our chimney. We appreciated the detailed pictures that were shown to us before of the damaged areas and after to show us the work completed. His company/crews proceeded to install new wood where there was weather damage, put up weather barriers on everything, completed our roof, installed new siding over the original wood siding on our house/workshop. New porch posts were designed and detailed trim work completed. Each day the debris and trash were cleaned up and hauled away. They made sure everything was left neat and tidy. The job is done and everything looks beautiful! As a single woman homeowner I'm pretty used to being ripped off, so it's no surprise it was no…read moredifferent with Keith. First he said he was coming in the morning on a Tuesday, did not show up. Called me about 1pm to see if he missed the appointment, which apparently was my fault for not calling him to remind him. He gave me a slightly better price than another quote I got, and other reviews were good so I decided to hire him anyways with the understanding he would do the same work, which included fixing a corner where I had some rotted wood as well as power washing the gutters. Not only did the work begin two weeks before I expected, but not everything was done that I was told would be. I had to repeatedly ask about the rotted wood in the corner, which was never fixed, and Keith acted like it was not a big deal and that the temporary fix I had done meant it was "already fixed." When I brought up the gutters not being power washed he told me that I should do it. So now I will have to clean all the junk they scraped off my roof into the gutters myself. Despite being told I could call him anytime, I'm not sure what the point would be unless I wanted to be condescended to and lied to more. **Update: When confronted by my father, Keith proceeded to call me a liar. Where I would get the idea on my own of the gutters being power washed I am not sure, and I certainly would have hired another contractor if I had known that the wood rot would not be fixed as it was the whole reason I started having my roof looked at. Supposedly, I will have somebody looking into the wood rot in 2 weeks, at which time Keith will try to extract more money from me...
