I even provided a competing quote showing the type of solar-heat-reducing glass I wanted, and we discussed this in detail. I was told American Weathertechs had a comparable product, and the salesperson demonstrated heat performance to me using a heat lamp. . The November 2025 installation had numerous problems, including windows that were difficult or impossible to operate, bowed sashes and installation deficiencies. I objected to signing completion paperwork because the work was not complete, but I was told to sign and not worry because I had a warranty and they would return to correct the problems. Financing was then processed. , . Fourteen sashes ultimately required replacement, yet problems remained. I eventually hired an independent third-party inspector, who documented additional concerns, including thermal observations and window/door deficiencies. The solar-heat issue also remained. Months after the sale, American Weathertechs told me that it does carry the type of Low-E coating/product that I had discussed at the point of sale. On August 5, the company proposed triple-pane inserts, but expected me to pay additional material costs. I asked for written performance specifications before agreeing to spend additional money. Instead, the company subsequently withdrew that proposal, refused further service and refused to return to finish the unresolved installation issues. They characterized the approximately $3,400 disputed balance as "bad debt," wrote it off to $0, and stated that my were void. . I have extensive emails, photographs, temperature documentation and an independent inspection report documenting my experience. I have also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I had All Around Roofing out four times for this roof leaking in the same spot, but the leak remained. After All Around Roofing did not return my calls, I was forced to have other roofing companies look at the roof for the leak. Both companies said the roof had been installed incorrectly, with both ridge and box vents installed that were causing the leak. I paid another company $1350.00 to fix the inferior work, and it has not leaked since. Obviously, I would not recommend this company.

I wanted to replace it with similar siding because it seemed to be very durable. Replacement was necessary because the original siding was improperly installed and the planks were falling off the house. I repeatedly had planks replaced and paint never matched original siding properly. So I chose to replace the entire siding. My research identified James Hardie as an excellent siding; and it seems quite durable, has a decent warranty, and looks nice. I chose EMA Construction to install because of their long term experience with James Hardie siding, and previous customer reviews. So I am confident I have a good product that was properly installed. Eddie provided the estimate and stayed in contact with me during the project. The installer team was excellent. They commenced work as expected and completed on schedule.. in spite of several rainy days. One area of the house required custom cutting of the planks lengthwise and at a slight angle. The team did an excellent job custom fitting the siding to this area. The total install, including flashing, caulking, and siding fit are all excellent. Total results and cleanup was also perfect. The install team (Nico, Blake and Eric) was professional and friendly and explained what they were doing throughout. I would hire them again should the occasion arise.

Our gutters were falling off our house and anytime it rained, no matter how little, our basement…read morewould get water. We called Mater Roofers and they were there the next day to inspect them and give us a quote. Our house has had a few additions so it has really weird gutters and a lot of downspouts. It is also surrounded my pine trees so getting gutter guards was an absolute must as well. They gave us a quote and it was very reasonable for the amount we would need replaced and the labor to do it. It did take them three weeks to get all the material and schedule the install. They showed up with 5 guys and had all the gutter taken off and replaced with full gutter guards in 5 hours. It was very impressive. They had someone come out a few days later to do the final inspection. We also waited until it rained to let them know if everything was working properly. Since we've had them replaced, we have not had any water in our basement. The only thing we didn't love is they were not very careful during the install. They completely trampled our flower beds. I would understand if a few were to get stepped on, but yearly every flower was smashed and killed. They also left a nail from the old gutters on our driveway. I'm sure this was just something they overlooked, but if we didn't see that it could have caused some real damage.
