Awesome shopping experience! Store is absolutely beautiful! Very clean and shelves are packed! Customer service is always top Notch! On the floor I was helped by Hugo, the Receiving manager! Hugo is super friendly, always helps customers and does so with a smile! Hard working employee! I was checked out by Eric, the Store manager! Eric is very professional and proud of his employees and their awesome work ethic! I highly recommend shopping here as they have great products in bulk if needed and at great prices! Way to go! Keep up the great work and excellent customer service skills! Very much appreciated!

Expired food. Last week it was expired burger meat, the week before expired orange juice, today its expired eggs. I've brought this to the attention of management all three times. They seem disinterested and wave me off The employees are nice. The management not so much.

I know what you're asking: besides the office stuff (who else sells multi-fold hand towels for office bathroom dispensers?), why go to Smart & Final? Answer: their liquor prices are awesome. For example - Jose Cuervo (1.75 liters): Von's & Ralph's: $35.99 Smart & Final: $20.99 'Nuf said.

I come to this store a few times a month to buy products and supplies for my business. The customer service is average at best and I'm willing to deal with that. However what happened today is unacceptable. I always purchase items in bulk to save on trips and today was no different. I purchase 3 hand soap bottles and a refill bottle to be used at my business. When I go to check out the cashier/ checker says oh you can't get this many. I said why? And she replied it a new policy that went back into effect. I was confused because that's not what the signs I read said. I let her know that's not what the signs says and she says I'm sorry and removes all of the soap with the exception of one of the small bottles. I asked if I can also keep the refill bottle at least considering it was a different product and a different brand. She says no with an attitude so I ask for a manager. Turns out the manager is also one of the checkers. Without even looking into the situation shes says that's our policy sir. Again I say that's not what the signs said. You would think at this point they would go investigate to see what the sign actually said. Instead with an attitude the manager (supposedly) says no you can't buy more than one. Both of them had a take it or leave if attitude and neither of them actually bothered to see if what I was saying was true. That may or may not be the current store policy but if there is no sign that says that then how are customers supposed to know? Just let me buy the soap and go put a sign up if that's actually the policy. Oh and drop the attitude. I spend a lot of money at this store each and every month but I'm seriously considering taking my money elsewhere. They don't seem to interested in customer service anyways.

These were all STALE!!! Beef was mildew like sour cream . All had a sour foul odor on all 3 boxes. Manager still didn't remove from shelves

Love their selection of fetas- the nice lady even let me sample a piece of one I had not had before so I could make sure it would work in the dish I was making They have a wide variety of items - last time they had my favorite brand pickled green tomatoes so I treated myself I even noticed they have graffeo coffee in the deli section so now I can pick that up locally and don't have to have it shipped to me

THE WORST customer service from any grocery store in the Santa Clarita Valley…read more On Sunday, I went in and Frida was extremely rude. She had no sense of urgency when assisting customers. While I was waiting at the register for her to ring me up, the least she could have done was acknowledge me and say she'd be right with me, but instead she kept talking with her coworkers. Once she finally started ringing me up, she began grabbing the hand basket on the conveyor belt and mumbling to herself, seeming upset. I mentioned that everything I had was already rung up and that the basket wasn't mine. She then started shouting at me, saying she knew that. Then, when it came time for payment, she began shouting at me again because apparently I was "taking too long," even though the screen was prompting me to wait for the cashier. She kept yelling that she was waiting on me and telling me to "go." When I called the store to complain, the floor manager said she would pass the message along and that the store manager would reach out. Well, here we are four days later and still no call from the store manager. I have only visited this store a handful of times, and every experience has involved awful customer service. I will never shop here again. That was the last straw. If employees don't want to assist customers, then please consider adding self-checkout stations.

Yesterday's experience was so frustrating and upsetting that I honestly don't feel like returning anytime soon. I needed flowers for my niece's preschool graduation. Unfortunately, most of the bouquets in the floral department looked semi-wilted and far from fresh. After searching, I found one bouquet in a bucket that looked acceptable, but it needed wrapping. The bouquet was priced at $35. I asked the employee in the floral department, McKenzie, if she could add wrapping paper. She told me she could, but that it would be an extra charge. I was confused because every other bouquet in the department already had wrapping paper. After I questioned it, she reluctantly wrapped the flowers, but the result was rushed, sloppy, and unprofessional, with visible tape making the bouquet look unfinished and unattractive. I politely asked if she could at least add a short ribbon to cover the tape and make the bouquet look presentable for a graduation gift. She immediately said no and told me she would have to charge $5 for a small ribbon and send me off to front checkout although I always pay for flowers in the floral register . Throughout the interaction, her attitude was dismissive, rude, and unwelcoming. At one point, she even instructed me to stay behind the line in a manner that felt unnecessarily harsh and disrespectful. I asked her to check with a manager. She spoke to someone and returned saying the answer was still no. When I later spoke with a manager myself, I initially received little help. I was ready to leave the bouquet behind and walk out of the store when another manager stepped in and asked what had happened. I showed him the bouquet. To his credit, he immediately agreed that the wrapping was unacceptable and apologized for the experience. He personally escorted me back to the floral department and asked McKenzie to rewrap the bouquet properly and add a ribbon. Even then, McKenzie remained visibly annoyed. The way she handed the finished bouquet back to me felt almost as if she was throwing it at me. That was my final straw. I left the store feeling upset, shaken, and deeply disappointed. One employee's poor attitude can undo years of customer loyalty . I want to thank the manager who stepped in and resolved the issue professionally. Unfortunately, the behavior I experienced from McKenzie was some of the worst customer service I have encountered in a long time. Employees like this can seriously damage the welcoming atmosphere that has kept customers like me coming back for years.

How do you keep the regular chicken noodle "soupsSS" all year around but you make the 1 vegan chicken noodle soup seasonal???? I am not a Vegan seasonal!! Make it make sense! I am a vegan all year long. This is the stupidest thing I've ever heard of. Here I am with the flu and I can't eat their spicy curry vegan soup because it hurts my throat at this time. Their vegetable soup is not tasty but bland The plant based Chicken noodle soup is absolutely delicious but now I gotta wait when it's in season cause obviously corporate doesn't give a crap about the vegan community! I'm so upset! Actually pissed off is an understatement. And yes, they do have canned vegan chicken noodle soup options, but I don't eat poison! The canned food soups are disgusting. Especially the Gardein chicken noodle soup! that taste like metal on steroids. The noodles are soggy and disgusting! But I will say Gardein frozen foods are delicious. Anyway, nothing compares to fresh soup. Of course I would prefer that they put their soups in jars instead of plastic, but I won't be petty about every single thing. Putting it in plastic tupperware gives us the option to freeze it. Years ago I use to buy their freshly made vegan curry chicken salad and they got rid of that also. I can't catch a break!! I don't complain about the prices being high because I love quality food. I just wish they would keep the vegan products in the store all year and not make them seasonal. Vegans don't have many options out there, especially in Santa Clarita, where I live. On behalf of the entire Vegan community...we are counting on Whole Foods to PLEASE do better! Nothing worse than being sick and not having any comfort food

The parking lot is always an adventure. They do have electric charging stations available. One thing I've noticed is they tend to have THE SLOWEST cashiers. I tend to opt for self-checkout because of this. It's not just a bit slow- it's comically slow. Almost like they're trained to be the sloth from Zootopia. It's all of them. Not just one, which is why I think they're trained to go slow. To keep them from making mistakes and prevent loss issues possibly (?) but it's almost like a running joke now when we have to use a regular register. They take each item and look at all available sides before even attempting to scan it. Just give it a shot! Wave it in a circular motion and usually it will scan. I don't know why it's done the way they do it but watch next time you're there. It's kind of funny. I'm usually not in a rush so it's fine. Walking in there has always been a TERRIBLE sewer smell. I don't know where it comes from but it has been consistent. Sometimes worse, sometimes less depending on the breeze but always present. Everything is locked up and getting someone to unlock it makes it hardly worth the item itself. I've stood 10 minutes waiting and given up. When you do find someone they are less than pleased to assist. Wish I could say nice things about this location but they make it hard!
