    Cute reusable grocery store bag

I rarely shop at this store but since we were in the neighborhood and I needed a few things, we dropped by. They have an interesting variety of products, the prices are fairly similar to the other stores.

I come here often to get items in bigger quantities when I will be cooking a larger meal for a group of friends. There is a great selection of fresh produce at reasonable prices. Since the neighborhood has a large Latino population nearby, they always have great items for Mexican dishes. The spices are available in bigger containers than any regular grocery store, so it makes it nice for being able to make your own dry rubs, and season large dishes.

I've only stopped in a few times, and that's only when I'm in need of specific items. Today, I dragged the hubby with me, bright and early. Since I have been committed to entering the other half's, bake off contest, I knew exactly where to pick up my items. The prices are great if you are looking for Torani syrups, and believe me they have an abundance of them! You can't beat the price, where Old Market or Cost plus is way over priced. I also picked up the big catering plate to display my entry this week. All in all, the perfect shopping time, early morning and fully stocked items!

This location is incredible! It's has a organic section right when you first come in. The prices are super reasonable as well. They carry all the good store brands and their own store brand " First Street" I will admit that I'm always a bit leary of trying store brands but when I tried the cheesecake, I was blown away! Cheesecake is one of my specialties to be sure and I was shocked how great it was, really close to mine. It comes in the regular large size and also in the smaller 4 individual size ( so perfect). This store back in the Bay Area doesn't have food like this one, I guess that's the "Extra" part ;) I'm going to shop here more often. One thing that's important is to check the expiration dates on your items, I've never had a issue but it's just smart at these discount stores. Crazy not to shop here, a money saver!

It's super clean, not too large, and offers warehouse prices on some quantity items.

I think I need to update my review from 14 years ago!!!!…read more I stand by my original post: How wonderful to have a real grocery store that specializes in local and organic products. Much of the produce is locally grown, or locally adjacent (AKA California) OK, Bananas do not grow in the Great Basin. The origin of the produce is identified. They work with local farmers, bakeries, and other local businesses for the food and non-food items. They no longer have the upstairs restaurant but they do have a kitchen and make ready to go items. I love picking up a fresh salad (some with meat some purely vegan/vegetarian) , a yummy very generously filled wrap, house made cookies and other delectable treats. They have a large selection of locally produced meats. Lots of organic canned goods, dairy and non-dairy items . . . the list goes on. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. Memberships are available (20$/year) with a once a month 10% off of your total purchase. You do NOT need a membership to shop here. It's small and a bit cramped but there is a lot of good stuff there. It's clean and friendly and completely locally owned.

This review is for their food delivery service…read more I have ordered 5 deliveries to my door in the past few months and out of 5 I had one mishap where it was misdelivered. The 4 times I received my orders I was very happy with the services provided. They were delivered early before guarantee delivery time frame, my chilled items were packed nicely and still cold! My kids and I love their 365 brand and other featured brands that we have enjoyed as healthier takeout options. Their prices are fair and they offer online specials that have saved me a lot of money at checkout. My orders are sealed and delivered from the store like a doordash order and I never have to leave the house. I subscribed to their grocery deal so my deliveries can be free. I like that I can set my time to have my groceries delivered so I can make sure I'm home. Don't forget to tip your drivers they get to keep every dollar. I'll be placing my next order for the weekend.

I have shopped at Whole Foods for years, driving 120 miles to Reno for grocery shopping as there are no grocery stores at with a population in the township of 110 people.

I found myself out and about with just my son and and we both thought a char grilled kebab sounded like a fun dinner experiment. We popped in and found who were guessing is the owner's child at the register and placed our order for their signature kebab made from ground chicken and Afghani spices. The plate came with sumac spiked basmati rice, two pieces of the chicken kebab and a small green salad plus a green hot sauce. The kebab was tender and juicy with a great flavor profile and a nice bit of charcoal flavor. We thought the rice was actually exceptional light and fluffy with a hint of that citrus sea tang from the sumac, in a buttery finish, made this a nice light side to the kebab. The salad was fresh and crunchy with cucumber, lettuce, and bell peppers and that green hot sauce was really great and we used it as a dressing because the salad did not come with one. For $16 I just felt like the value was a bit often the plate needed at least one more piece of the kebab because when finished with a small tiny salad and the kebab, we were left with a mountain of rice and that is south wasteful. I just wish the plates here were a bit more valued oriented and I guess it will take more people eating here to kind of drive that up. Highly recommend giving it a try plus the market has some really fun fines too. Share your review and let me know what you think.
