Great cupcakes. Also, My dogs LOVED the pup cakes. Price is fair for size and comparative to other cupcake shops. My favorite was the cookies and cream and the white cake with sprinkles! We will be back! read more

Love this place and so happy that it's another family owned business in town. Every time I have gotten a cupcake from there they have been amazing. read more

The customer service here is terrible. Their system went down and they expected me to go home and come back to pay...7 bucks for. Couple scoops of ice cream. When I did come back, she told me that she didn't say that. I won't go into all that went down but I will never go here again. It was my first and only time. Customer service goes a long way for me, especially here in Ripon. read more

I've only tried the cupcakes here, but they serve ice cream as well. The cupcakes are decent. They fall apart as soon as you start eating them, but the cake is moist, not dry, so that's good. The frosting is terrible though. Looks pretty, but tastes gross and the frosting looks soft but it's not. My kids love frosting but even they won't eat it. For what the cupcakes cost, it feels like half the cost goes down the drain when you waste the frosting. Anyway. This shop just opened so hopefully it gets better with time. read more

Super moist, super yummy and not over sweet. These are made to perfection. Plus she has homemade ice that is soooo good! Come eat your dessert here and thank me later. read more

Best cupcakes I have ever had!! Love all the unique flavors. Very good customer service and my dog loves the Pupcakes.

If I could give this place 20 stars I would. 5 For their cupcakes, 5 for their cake smash, 5 for their ice cream and 5 for their PUPPY CAKES. I've been a repeating customer and every single time I walk in I'm greeting with a smile. They offer a large selection of cupcakes and if they don't have something they go back into the kitchen and frost up the cupcakes for you. read more

The cupcakes I picked up not only had the exact color I requested for my son's birthday theme but they had just the right amount of sweetness to them. They were such a huge hit that people were asking where I got them. Thank you for your attention to detail and for providing "Fortnite green". read more

Smallcakes Cupcakery - Cupcakes Near Me - Ripon, California

LOVE this place! Jill is an actual angel on earth, I was having a hard day & she was soooo sweet I left with a huge smile on my face. We tried different cupcakes. All were delicious!! Light as a feather, not overly sweet and home-style, real frosting. The red velvet was actual red velvet with cream cheese frosting. This place is the REAL DEAL!! Can't wait to go back. read more

Above and beyond ! These cupcakes are amazing. The staff/owners are kind, attentive, and share the love of being friendly to all whom enter. I work out of area and make a special stop to spoil my family. Not only a treat to the humans in the house, they also provide doggy cupcakes for the fur babies. All in the my home seem to do "the happy dance" - when they see me walk in with the box I'm the center of attention. LOL ! Always look forward to all the flavors and spreading the word of this gem to my family and friends. read more

Great little place, cupcakes are great my dog loves the pupcakes! Super friendly and will be returning regularly.

Love this small business but they need to bring back the Margaretta cupcakes!! To die for!! Very good ice cream too! Nice add for Ripon!

My husband and I are exceptionally pleased with the custom cake order that we received on 6/26/19. The owner did a wonderful job creating a pink ombre cake piped in delicate rosettes. The cake looked and smelled as delectable as it tasted; the almond (wedding cake) flavor of the cake was divine, and everyone complimented the flavor of the sponge and buttercream. Not only was the ordering process a breeze, the owners were courteous, professional, and exceeded all of our customer service expectations! In addition to trying the amazing cake, we also tasted the neapolitan cupcakes, which were incredibly moist, flavorful, and as equally delicious as the cake. It was our first time trying this bakery, but it will definitely not be our last. We highly recommend SmallCakes Cupcakery, Ripon! read more

We love this place! The owners are so nice and so kind to my girls. I have yet to try a flavor we didn't like- the PB cupcakes is ahhhmazing

After reading through the negative comments I would have to disagree. The few times I have been to Smallcakes the owner is always welcoming and friendly. II love family owned businesses. Also before judging someone it's important that we all be reminded everyone has a story. I was fortunate enough the first time I came in with my son to hear the love, passion and dream the owners have for there family. The ice cream is great and so are the cupcakes. God bless. read more

So yummy! Their cupcakes are moist and delicious. Red velvet, cookies and cream and carrot are my top three faves. Haven't tried the ice cream yet so an added reason to go back! Place is nice, cozy and super family friendly! read more

OMG just discovered this place this last weekend and we are hooked! Went twice this weekend because they are that good!! My husband and I even went close to closing time and when they were sold out of the only cupcake my husband wanted, the man behind the counter made it special for him! This place is a must if you like fresh, moist amazing flavored cake!! read more

Small Cakes has the BEST cupcakes around! The ice cream is awesome, too. Unfortunately, I've had a couple instances of poor customer service, but I chalk that up to the workers being new. I'm sure they will improve with time. Still... best cupcakes around! read more

Very good customer service. cupcakes are beautifully decorated. Nice little place to have some cupcakes and ice cream. Family oriented. Good atmosphere read more

I had to come check this place out because people were ranting and raving about it. Workers are very personable and helpful and there Nice atmosphere. However, i was not impressed by what they are selling. The ice cream tasted old. It was crystalized Like if its been sitting in the freezer for a while- i can even feel the crystals crunch as i ate it. The good thing is they gave you testers so you can select what you like. Thank goodness cause i actually didnt get any for myself. They just werent very flavorful and tasted off. But as we were leaving they did take out a new jug of cookies and cream and that tasted pretty good so id have to try that and their famous chocolate gram (that they did not have)if and when i go back. I also picked up lemon drop and pink chocolate cupcakes. The lemon drop was ehh. Not bad but not worth buying again. It had lemon filling that was pretty good but other than that it tasted like a flavorless plain vanilla bean cupcake. The chocolate cupcake was just ok. Overall, I was just not impressed. We got two scoops of ice cream and two cupcakes and it came out to $15. In my opinion think its over priced. Ill go back once more and try their chocolate gram and cookies and cream ice cream and give an updated review then. So well see read more

Yummy! Great location! Right by Savemart entrance. Tried almost all the cakes, carrot is our favorite.

So good! Charlie the owner goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and right at home. Customer service and cleanliness is definitely a 10 star if they had one to rate this! read more

This is a new local favorite. Hand made ice cream and cupcakes in just enough flavors to keep everyone happy. There's seating inside and out. The owners are very interesting and friendly. He went from serving our Country (Thank you for serving in the US Army), to serving his family, to serving us desert. I love the goal of this business and I know it will be a complete success. read more

The cupcakes here are really good. I had them cater 3 dozen cupcakes and so was able to try the red velvet, vanilla and chocolate flavors. I was surprised at how huuuge the cupcakes were and was expecting a dry cake. They were deceiving my moist and delicious yet not overly sweet - everyone at the party loved them. The staff were very helpful with helping get my order just right, we communicated through fb and it was very convenient. I'll definitely be back to try some of their other flavors. As a side note, they have puppy treats too which my sister's dogs happily enjoyed. read more

Their cupcakes are delicious and the owner was so nice. Definitely made me feel at home. I will be returning soon.

I have been a frequent customer for the past 2 years and have been enough times to fill up two customer reward cards. Sadly I'm getting more and more frustrated visiting due to the customer service I've received the past two visits. I went in yesterday and ordered 6 cupcakes and a scoop of ice cream. The guy working got the ice cream and this was just the beginning of the frustration I felt. There were only 4 of the flavor I wanted (brownie bling) so I asked if there were more in the back as the last time I visited, the kind owners made more for me. The guy working was very annoyed that we were in there apparently as he responded with attitude "that means I have to go in the back and frost more". I literally was the only customer there. I don't know what he was so busy doing because when we got there, he was just standing there. I felt like I was a burden, not a customer ready to patronize the business. At this point I grew concerned about what I couldn't see behind the walls. He was throwing things around making so much noise clearly annoyed that he had to frost cupcakes. Mind you, it was only two he had to frost because there were already 4 ready to be sold. This is 11:30 or so in the morning. I just left the doctors with my sick son so we stopped for a treat. I just don't get what was so important. He finished up after about 10 minutes as he chose to frost 6 vs. the 2 I needed. He seemed a little more calm which made me wonder what he did to the cupcakes behind the wall I couldn't see passed. Then it was time to pay so I inserted my card and handed him my stamp card. I literally thought he was going to blow a gasket at that point. He slammed the drawer after punching the card and asked if I wanted a receipt. I left so frustrated with his actions. How does one have a job with such a poor attitude. I honestly am considering not returning. Spending over $28 for crappy customer service is not worth it. I really hope the owners do something about him. If he's blood related, he's going to ruin your business' reputation. I've been huge in referring your business to Facebook groups when people ask where's a good bakery. I'm done. read more

The Cupcakery is amazing!!! The cupcakes are super good, very flavorful! The ice cream here is homemade and definitely taste awesome! The owner and employees are very nice and definitely make you feel at home! My family and I highly recommend Smallcakes! We will definitely be going back! read more

First time. Overall: impressed. Friendly staff. Clean store. I got the "yeti" ice cream and it was a good substitute, as I like mint choc chip. I also bought 2 different cupcakes. Lemon drop and choc sundae. The choc sundae cake was good with some choc filling, however I didn't really like the buttercream topping. I will be getting the lemon drop again, as I thought it was perfect! I am a lemon kind of girl. The cake, the tang, the filling and the frosting were just perfect. The cupcakes are bigger than regular size. I do not mind paying $3.75 each, as I felt they were worth it. If you buy a dozen for $22.00, it is under $2.00 each. I can't wait to go back again and try a different kind. I sure hope this business makes it! read more

I went in tonight and I am so glad that I did. Hands down, the best cupcakes ever!!! Soooo goood!! I will be back again!!!

This little slice of paradise is located right next to Savemart it was very convenient. I stopped by here on my birthday while visiting family driving from Fresno, CA and I have to say I had the best experience. Beautifully decorated cupcakes matched equally to the loveliness of the taste as each bite was most and succulent. I had the chocoholic and was surprised with a warm welcome a hug and a cake pop that was filled with flavor. I returned and was treated with sample of the home made mint ice cream and that was even tastier. This place is heavenly. read more

Cupcakes are very good, but $4.04 for one cupcake is insane (they're not that good). Perhaps using cheaper boxes may lower prices.

Tried 5 flavors now, all tasty. The coffee ice cream is to die for and made with Peet's . It's a family owned business and Charlie and Jill are always on site to greet customers. Bought 6 cupcakes the last time I was in. It's Jose to have them so close to home. This is our go to desert place. read more
