Fun rise. Holds one parent and one child or two children.
Joanne M.

Interesting and fun park in the midst of Pittsburg, CA to take your children to! There are a lot of fun areas to let your children play. Once you pay the entry fee, all the rides are free. Our friend's 7 year old daughter loved the zip line area. You have to wait in line and usually the parents make sure the children take their turns. During the summer, there is a train that goes around the park and there is an area to have picnics and BBQ. There is a wooden house with a rube slide and a mechanical ride that kids will lov This is an older park, but well maintained and the children love going there!

We had my daughter's 2nd birthday party here and it went well! We reserved the Party Castle all day for a great price! Elaine had great communication with planning and reserving the place! Thank you again!

We had the most wonderful experience having our daughter's 2nd birthday party here. Wow. I can't begin to explain how great this place is and what a hidden gem it is! Firstly, Elaine, the woman who runs the place and organizes all the parties, was so patient, helpful and easy to work with. Elaine is the bomb! She hooked us up with a party in the castle on the Sunday before labor day and it was such a great set up, because apparently most people thought it was going to close early that day, but last minute they changed the schedule. It didn't get changed on the website so there were not very many people at the park that day which was great! There are soooo many things to do here. Many playgrounds, different play houses, a zip line, a few rides (the train and carousel are down for an indefinite amount of time, but you don't even need those with everything else going on). If you rent the castle, you only get MORE things to do! There's a huge slide in there (it goes really fast, so rider beware), and there's an obstacle course type thing upstairs. The other incredible thing about the castle is there's a huge table inside with more tables on the outside area, air conditioning, a full kitchen, a BBQ, and a door out the back so at the end of the party, you can drive your car in to load up. The pricing is good! You get discounts if you're bringing over 15 people and then a further discount over 25, I believe. There were so many steps along the way that I was worried the calculation of the reservation or the tickets wouldn't be done right. Or we wouldn't get our deposit back from the city. Everything went so smoothly!! We got all our money back, we were always charged the right amount. I honestly was mad that I hadn't used this place more for my kids prior 6 birthday parties. So don't delay! Have your birthday party there now, you won't regret it.

This is a new discovery cute place nearby! Small amusement great for kids of ages 2 to 10. We love this place for our kids ! I can honestly say that this small is reasonably priced better than the other small amusement I know nearby that goes by tickets. I love how you pay for each person to go in and all rides inside are unlimited for kids. They have lots of cute playgrounds too and cute little ponds and river streams. This place has a nostalgic feel too reminds me of when I was young. I also love how you can reserve a party here for a good price . Only thing is wish that tickets were included with the reservation fee for the spot for all the guests. And maybe if they can add a few more rides inside. This is a truly hidden gem! I hope they don't change.

Small, but fun, this park is great for taking the kids for a few hours to play on a carousel, zip line, go down a slide, and ride a few other simple rides. I was able to ride in a ferris wheel with my 1 year old daughter for a few minutes, which was very fun! They have some wide open areas that would be great for children's parties and birthdays. There is a couple of small snack vendors, though we didn't buy anything so I'm not sure what they sell. There is also a train to ride in a circle around the park. I recommend sitting in the far back, away from the noisy engine and gas smell. Avoid the mistake we made :-) It's $6 per adult, $3 for any kid older than 11 months (free if under 11). There really isn't TOO much stuff to do here, but considering the price, and how kids can entertain themselves fairly easily in this place, I'd recommend checking it out at least once. I can definitely see myself bringing my kid here 1-2 times a year. Only downside was we saw a bit of the Pittsburg ghetto here. Heard several people cussing, dropping F-bombs, a woman wearing a shirt indicating she's a pot head, and another dad with his daughter wearing an IPA Lagunitas beer shirt. Not exactly what I want to see at a child at a small children's park. I'd hardly complain if they instituted a "Don't wear drug and alcohol related clothing to the park" policy, which I think would be a good idea. This park is one of those "3 stars is too low, 4 stars is too high" places. I wish Yelp would allow people to rate businesses 3.5 or 4.5 stars for example, but until they do, I'll go with 4 stars. Last but not least, check their operating hours! They arent open year round.

Party Castle in the middle of the park

Small World Park is the kind of place you'd expect to find in San Jose or Oakland - wait, they already have one. But this is in Picksburg? Wow. It's a small-scale park, with several rides, several play areas, several party areas to rent, several places to fish. Geared toward the younger set. And for the majority of parents who are low on cash, the prices are small-scale too. It's somewhere between a neighborhood park and Oaktown's Children's Fairyland. We finally went, and come to find out that my daughter is already near the upper age range of who it's built for (she's 7). A birthday party was held here. The girl's grandmother booked the Party Palace, and was amazed at their rental price for 2 hours: "Because sometimes I'm involved in renting rooms for the women's ministries for the church, and over the hill [Concord] we have to pay around $300-400 and still need to provide our own tables and chairs, and this was only $55 for residents for 2 hours. They want a place where residents who don't have a lot of money can rent a room to have these kinds of parties." It looks rinky-dink, but the kids don't care, they'll ride the rides all day. We didn't have or see any incidents, so I don't know first-hand how they handle wild kids or dangerous adults. So Small World is another place where, if you keep your expectations in check, then you'll do fine.

Awesome hidden gem for toddlers IF the park is not busy. You can't beat the price and the rides are included in the entrance fee.

Honestly, not only being super on point as an employee for everything that we needed but then to go above and beyond like that is something we don't see in the service world very often and this guy needs to get some big time recognition. We have already made plans for the next time we go back and I really hope it's in a night that he works. Very good memories have been made because of his care and big heart.

Unlimited passes are a good purchase but it was tuff to find someone to man the laser tag latter in the day when nobody is interested in playing laser tag anymore. I was surprised they didn't have more in between roller coasters, ones that weren't just for 7 year olds or the ultimate thrill seekers. I've been to Great America a ton and was expecting some more options like that. We came at Christmas time and were pleasantly surprised to see how great they decorated the place. It was so festive and fun to see. I loved the gingerbread village and the reindeer roundup. It was a cold rainy weekday when we were here, so the park was pretty empty and we didn't have to wait for anything. In fact, each time a ride ended they offered you to stay on and ride again without even having to move. We waited in line to buy tickets for just that day and luckily the guy at the window told us they were about half the cost if you got them online, which we were able to do on the spot on our phones. Kinda strange that the cost to buy in person is so much more than buying online, but we were very thankful that was shared with us.

The breakfast buffet has gotten better and the customer service is noticeably better than we had experienced in the past. The ready to order eggs and omelette are yum. Something for everyone. My baby loves the fruits. Overall resort is clean and feels relatively safe. It's not unusual to see kids wandering around alone and lots of parents around keep watchful eyes out. It's definitely a resort more for the kids, so bring your inner child. The magiquest game is so cheesy, but my kiddo and husband enjoy it. Lots of kids play it, so you'll feel like you're missing out if you don't. We always end up doing more activities than we initially plan, so next time we'll probably look into trying one of the bundle discount passes. Personally my favorite part is that the water park is indoors. You don't have to cross your fingers for good weather and you don't have to wear sunscreen. I let it go and took a couple of sips and set it down between 2 lawn chairs and went on a slide with the kids. When I came back it was tipped over. I paid almost $30 for this drink. You could see the line on the cup that I had not drank much of it before it spilled. So I went back to tell them that someone spilt it. It was not long after I purchased it. She said unless one of the employees saw what happened, then there was nothing they could do about it. Then I asked for her supervisor. When she came she said they could give me a discount. I asked how much would it cost. I ordered a dbl Pina colada. Then I saw the girl who made the drink tell her she didn't make it a double. She said the discounted price was $35 big ones. That's more than I paid for the first one. I'm not paying $65 for a drink. The wolf lodge makes plenty of money. Kids were super bummed, but decided to go out and drive and still had a great time. The track was a tad slippery still from drift night so they actually had a few tiny drift moments. They have food and drinks available for reasonable prices. Mostly pub type food, as well as snacks and candy. Lots of nonalcoholic and alcoholic beverages available. Birthday girl was girl in line as cars weee assigned to everyone in the party. There is a place to sit and watch the racers doing their laps. The 1st lap took some getting used to. But since it was a private track time for the party, there were no unnecessary public interactions crashing cars into each other. Safety first which I really appreciated. The girls had a complete blast once they figured out how the cars drove. There was a short 20 min break in between laps where they were given drink cards and game cards to use $10 ea. The second lap was the one that counts and who won 1st 2nd 3rd place. In the end everyone received a certificate and got to stand on the podium for pics. We brought our own cake. K1 provided the sliders and pretzel dogs and utensils plates. The party section was spacious and clean. Loved the decor. Great for older kids and adults as some of the parents, kids at heart, had to refrain from joining in on the party. Many of the kids weren't able to use their game card as we ran out of time. The kids saved it for their next visit. I would recommend this place for parties or a night out or even team building event.

The cabanas were not held down by anything and it was a windy day, I almost got hit by the cabana flying.
