I went once. He was very pleasant. He ordered PT and a follow up visit with him. A couple days before my visit. I got a text or email from his office saying he would not be in the office that day and the appointment would have to be rescheduled. I waited a few days and got no call from the office to reschedule so I called them. They said he wasn't in and didn't know when he would be back. They would not make an appointment. I asked if they would call me when he was going to be back in the office and I didn't get a definite response. That's been almost 4 months. Nothing at all. I've knocked on their office door with no response. I hope the doctor is OK but I think it's very unprofessional that I was never contacted. Obviously I have found another doctor. I've been to Dr. Slutzker for a few injuries/ailments...including plantar fascitis, strained neck pain, and lower back pain. Ain't it a bitch to grow old?! Dr. Slutzker spends time with each patient to diagnose and treat you. I don't know about you, but I've seen many of Dr.'s who spend less than 5 minutes with you. Not with Dr. Slutzker. Terrible staff. This is a money grab business. They literally have a door open at the back end of the office like a food processing line for easy access. 2 of the 3 staff are terrible. The one making appointments in back is good but the other 2 are just completely absolutely terrible. I do t know how these women can live with theirselves being evil to patients. I went to Dr. Slutzker after having carpal tunnel problems in both wrists. That really sucks. My left hand was pretty bad with numbness, loss of strength and some muscle loss. I didn't want to jump straight to surgery, so we tried physical therapy for about 4 weeks. I did not see any improvement. A chiropractor friend of mine even tried some treatment, but I knew I was heading down the road to surgery. Dr. Slutzker is very nice and knowledgeable and always gave me more than enough time in our appointments and always answered my millions of questions. His assistant, Ron, is also great, and spoke from 1st "hand" knowledge since he has the surgery 2 years ago. Dr. Slutzker performed a mini carpal tunnel release on me about 4 weeks ago. The doctor explained everything to me and said he did this type of surgery all the time, and really was a quick procedure with minimal post-surgery issues. I had the procedure done at Providence Little Company of Mary in their Same Day unit. Everything went very smoothly - showed up at 6am for pre-op, surgery was at 730am, and my husband drove me home around 1045am! And really no pain. I am very happy with Dr. Slutzer and his entire staff who arranged all the appointments, insurance and surgery details. I will be going back to the Dr. because I need my other wrist done! read more

Terrible I went on an emergency- read good reviews so I felt confident. The nurse screamed when I asked if I had to fill out new patient paperwork. My DOB was I correct in 3 placed once I did receive it. After running all day in pain - wrong X-ray, doctor doesn't even look at me or touch me walks me out of his office to schedule another appointment after my insurance approves a laundry list of shots I told him I did not want- only to wait 1 month to drain this painful cyst behind my knee. Dr. Slutzker was my primary orthopedic doctor for several years. He is hands down the best doctor I've had in the last 5 years of my pain journey. I'm an athlete and I've been dealing with alotof orthopedic in my life. this one is the worst one. doctor Michael is a nice person but doesn't take his time and examining his patient correctly, all he does is readying the X-ray or Mri report period. no exams at all. The worst person in this office is the Secretere in the front desc and her mannager very Unprofessional with attitude and more. After asking multiple time to right me a doctor report letter I've been charge and given some serious attitude, I never felt comfortable going at this place for my regular visit everyone give me the dirty look . There is 1000 of doctors around do not even try this one I've been having the worse experience in my life. After asking them to make another doctor report letter they we're saying that they don't have time for that it's not on our priority blablabla the letter will have an expensive charge. He was the first to spot and diagnose my son who had osteo sarcoma at age 11 and to assist my husband with his ailments as well. I had knee surgery 15 years ago by Dr. Slutzker and haven't had any knee pain since. Recently I went in for what ended up being a pinched nerve in my neck vertebra. I got hardly any sleep for 3 months because of the pain. I saw Dr. Slutzker and he seemed very confident that he could treat it and that I would be fine. A great assurance to hear but I still didn't believe it. After treatment and physical therapy, I have no pain whatsoever.
