Great doctor! Takes the time to talk to you, asks questions and comes up with a plan that works best for you.

The Optum in Redondo Beach is terrible. I would not recommend it to anybody. I requested a GI…read moreSpecialist and they gave me someone not in network. I called the clinic various times and they gave me the run around. The clinic told me to call digestive care to change doctors and had me waiting for 45 minutes without giving me a call back. I called for my pcp and got the run around.I had to call my insurance to complain and that's why I am doing a yelp.

After going to all of my parents appointments with them I have seen him be focused and I have seen him be unfocused. Totally normal, we're human, but not really the consistent care I wish for anyone to have with there doctor. He's a seasoned Dr. which does have value. After you are not in front of him, nothing will get done or completed. He dropped the ball with my mothers health which led me to switch her doctor. I'm very happy I made that choice. I have had many frustrations with his office, not knowing if it's on him or the staff. Here's where I lost my marbles, he sat and waited for two weeks to essentially sign off on something that potentially moved my fathers LIFE SAVING neuro surgery by 2 months. I communicated...borderline harassed his office every day to understand what the hold up was, I received a different answer every time. All to find out...the dr had simply not given his stamp of clearance...which he verbally said he would two weeks prior. All in all, he is smart I'm sure. He is careless. If I had not been advocating for my parents, I have no idea how anything would have been completed. I can't speculate why this doctor is seemingly not present but it's not a trait I want for any person to experience from their health care provider, being forgetful or dismissive in his line of work can cost someone their life. Switching my father right after his surgery. Thank you to Stacey who eventually was able to assist in this matter. I didn't do one star because I don't thing this doctor is like maliciously doing this, he genuinely seems pre-occupied.

Finding out that it has been 10+ years that either of them received an EKG is mind blowing! My grandma could still be alive if maybe we knew sooner her heart was only pumping 20% of blood through her body! She's on hospice, hours left to live and Salama calls and only can say "well can you bring her in? Is she taking he dementia medicine?" Are you kidding me ! This women should not be a doctor and not just from these two examples! My other grandma has a tumor/cyst (we still don't know) bigger than a golf ball and this "Doctor" touches it runs zero test and says "it's fine don't worry about it". She's in pain ! I have now gotten her a different doctor who knows what they are doing and sending her to multiple specialist! ridiculous to say the least! Getting my last living grandmother a new doctor it near brought tears to my eyes hearing her say she got all these NORMAL STANDARD test done for the first time..... this should be in her yearly routine! All & all if you love and care about your loved ones and want to see them live a long healthy life, do them a favor and don't let them come to this fraud.

She is friendly, has flexible hours, listens to my needs and always goes the extra mile to make sure I am taken care of.
