While my wife was undergoing treatment, we repeatedly called Dr. Lee's office to her to exchange health records with the hospital and talk with the attending physician. Dr. Lee was unwilling to make a single phone call to the hospital. According to the attending physician, Dr. Lee's staff told him "she doesn't have time to take a phone call and there's nothing to talk about." That is what he wrote in his clinical notes. Much to his credit, when he was alerted to my concerns he took the time out of his weekend and a special family celebration to call me and we were able to discuss my medical issues. She listens to what's ailing you, then asks questions to make sure she completely understands your ailment. Once she fully understands, she thoroughly describes her recommended care and procedure. I was out of the country and sent a message through the patient portal early in the morning. Despite multiple follow-up calls from both myself and my mother, we received no response from the doctor. The office told my husband and mother to bring my son in, which they did--traveling over an hour to get there before closing. Despite arriving while Dr. Miller was still in, she never came out to assess him, nor did she or her team respond to any of our messages or calls. Over a week later, and her team still have not reached out to us. My husband ended up taking our son to urgent care. This is especially upsetting coming from a team that has cared for my child since birth, without any issues. We will not be returning and will gladly find care elsewhere. P.S. I absolutely LOVE her. I went to her for about 15 years. She listens to your concerns & addresses them. She goes out of her way to make sure you're well cared for. After we moved, I continued driving an hour to see her. I only stopped seeing her after she moved her practice to South Orange County. That was just a little much for me to drive. My family member, who works in OC, continues to see her. I still think about going back to her new OC office.
