Great friendly service at a great little bar in Lacrosse. The food came out hot and fast and they have a great tap beer selection to choose from. They had trivia night when I was there and everyone seemed to be having a great time. Fun atmosphere and very clean.

Good place. Had a pizza with Italian sausage, green pepper and onion. Tasty thin crust, with a couple Spotted Cows.

Appetizers of potato wedges smothered in cheese and bacon alongside pickle wedges. Followed by the best chicken dessert salad I have ever had accompanied with the Ohio burger. One would have nothing to complain about besides a happy full belly. Service was exceptional and food was top quality!

Great spot for an apps, wings and beer. Bar stools were the best I've sat on. It is a nice spot to go that isn't downtown and less busy.

Ok so we went to try this for the first time today. The place wasn't that busy and the waitress was really sweet. The food came out really fast and was pretty good. So generally I check in on Yelp whenever I go someplace new so I did and it popped up with a discount for 10% off. There were 3 of us and I showed the waitress and she hadn't seen it before. She told the owner and another woman who I guess didn't know about it. The waitress returned, apologizing profusely and said the owners wouldn't honor the discount. (Really...it was only 10% which came out to $4.75 off). What bothered me is the owners handling of the situation. A) I get you didn't know about it but apply the discount anyway and check in with Yelp, claim the business and remove the option to offer discounts. B) Why are you going to send that poor waitress to deliver the news you were too uncomfortable to deliver yourself? As an owner, that is your responsibility to apologize and explain things to the customer. That waitress was embarrassed and uncomfortable and I really felt bad for her. While the food is good and service is fast, I don't like the way the owners handled the situation.

Overall, we enjoyed our time at this long-lived beer and burger joint. Sloopy's is a located a 5-minute drive north of downtown La Crosse, on a busy one-way street in a strange residential/commercial/industrial neighborhood. (Like the old song says, Sloopy lives in a very bad part of town... Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh). The main attraction of Sloopy's are the 24 well-chosen beers that they have on tap: Leinenkugel's, Sam Adams, Guinness, New Glarus, etc. The worst thing about Sloopy's were the drink prices. By La Crosse standards, everything here is VERY EXPENSIVE: the domestic draft taps we had rang up as $3.75 to $5.00; and tiny shots of hard liquor were $3.25. And while the food was pretty good, it was not particularly inexpensive. One can have after-work drinks and snacks at other much-more-upscale La Crosse establishments (eg. The Waterfront, The Starlite Lounge) for much-less-money. The best thing about Sloopy's was our friendly and helpful waitress/bartender Emily, who took care of our every need. The boys in our group fell in love with her; the girls wanted to be her BFF. If you want to see what skilled, courteous, and cheerful hospitality service looks like, go to Sloopy's and watch Emily work the room.

The new place is awesome. Great staff wonderful pizza and burgers for now more to come. The floors all hardwood, new painted walls moved the tappers so games can be watched. The bar rail has purse hooks so ladies do not forget your purse!

The pizzas are the best anywhere! Thin crust and fresh toppings. Good service and nice prices. Can't wait to go back and do it again.

It was a sunny late September day, and the view of the water was gorgeous. As we were the only people present, service was okay, and food came out pretty fast. We ordered cheese curds and two drinks to start. My husband wanted to try local Pearl Street Brewery, but they had neither of their listed beers in stock, so he went with Spotted Cow. I had a strawberry daiquiri, which had nice strawberry flavor but no notable alcohol. The cheese curds were good, the cheese wonderfully stretchy and fresh. My husband ordered the Pool 8 Double Cheeseburger with fries. The presentation is nice, with the onion rings stacked atop the burger to form a big 8. He thought it was all okay. I ordered the cranberry chicken pecan wrap. The wrap was great, with very fresh ingredients and lots of flavor. I ordered the vegetable medley as my side, though, and it was a huge disappointment. It had the taste and texture of a frozen, microwaved steamed vegetable mix, and all of the veggies tasted like the bell peppers. The green beans were rubbery, flaccid things. I never would have expected something like that at a sit down restaurant. So really, a very uneven experience here, and I'm not encouraged to return if I'm in the area again.

I know that the location is still fairly new, but sometimes you can walk into a fairly new building and it is already rundown. My husband and I ordered a large Supreme thin crust pizza. We sat down and waited about 15 minutes before it was done. The guy carried it out in a pizza box instead of the pedestal, which was fine...safety of COVID, I get it. I can't wait until they do the pedestals again because it gives you the true pizza parlor feel. I wished they would have automatically given us paper plates, napkins, and plasticware, instead of us having to go back up several times because we were missing something. They have these cute little plastic shakers for the pepper flakes and Parmesan that you can keep now. Love that idea! Anyways, I don't know who made our pizza, but they did NOT disappoint! It was love at first bite, YUM!!! The toppings were PERFECT!! Not too little, not too much. Sometimes too many veggies and sauce can make the crust soggy. The crust was so crispy! Reminded me when you order your pizza for delivery, that you're selling yourself short. The last time we got a pizza from there, it was nearly cold when we got it, and the crust was NOT crispayyy...I love saying it like that...say it with me..."crisPAY." The guy who took our order seemed nice, and addressed us as "sir", but just smile more! Overall, we would recommend this place to anyone! If you're going to eat pizza, then dine-in! You won't be disappointed!! Great job Pizza Hut on Mourmon Coulee Rd in La Crosse, WI!
