It's a fast casual restaurant so I'm judging it for what it is. The servers seemed nice and attentive. The food is a bit pricy, but delicious. This place is either dead or insanely busy, so recognize timing. Lunch and dinner rush is real. read more

If i could leave negative stars i would. EXTREMELY rude employees. Sassy man taking order was disrespectful for no reason. man at window told me i didn't look confident. gave me ice cream straws; I asked if they have normal straws and he said they're out with attitude. throwing $30 worth of food away. Worried they poisoned us or spit in it. will NEVER come to the stillwater location again. Mind blowing, never had this terrible of an experience like this. Don't wanna go back and ask for a refund im scared they might shoot me. read more

We went to a college football game in Stillwater Oklahoma. Kansas City vs Oklahoma University. Unfortunately our team lost but we found this spot. It sat in between to chain restaurants we have eaten at several times plus an Arby's across the street. We were eager to try something new. We set inside to enjoy our meal. The place was filled with other local fans from the game. I want to highlight desert I'm pretty sure they had shakes. But we got the chocolate brownie pudding. A glass jar souvenir with slim chicken on it. They also had pecan caramel. They unfortunately were out of the strawberry shortcake. My son got chicken and waffles which were delicious. I got the fried chicken salad. Which was good I have a pet peeve when I order a salad and they serve iceberg. Here they use a mixed green, carrots tomato cucumber, I mean it's a real salad. My husband got a sandwich which was alright but he said he would get the chicken and waffle if were were to go again. I would definitely choose them again before any of the standard franchise we usually patronize. read more

It was my mom and I's first time there and we got the 5 and 5 meal. It was so amazing! The cashier was super nice and helpful. It was so good I didn't even get a chance to take a pic. Oh also loved the cayenne ranch. The previous reviews had us kind of skeptical but that means you can't trust everything you read. It's worth the money (which wasn't a lot). 10/10 would recommend. read more

Exceptional quality, unbeatable price, and generous portions! Everything truly exceeded my expectations!

1 star PURELY for the sauce flavors. Everything I ordered was soooooo soggy. It was absolutely foul. The fries come with no seasoning. No salt. Nothing. The chicken was gross. Worse than Tyson frozen tenders. Here's a video of the "fried" mushrooms. Completely raw batter. What a tragedy. Oh and even the toast was soggy. TOAST. SOGGY TOAST. read more

Slim Chickens - Fried Mushrooms - Chicken Wings Near Me - Stillwater, Oklahoma

My family and I ate here for dinner last night. The service was great. They bring the food out to your table. We ordered Mac n cheese with chicken, chicken wrap, two chicken sandwiches and a large order of fries. The Mac n cheese was ok, not my fav but my daughter liked it. The wrap was good it was grilled, and the chicken sandwiches were good. For the price we may come again. It wasn't terrible. But nothing that is like wow! They have a patio for cool days and a big layout inside for big parties. read more

We door dashed Slim Chickens tonight and it hit the spot. Husband was loving the friend mushrooms, he says it's like homemade. He also had the Buffalo Ranch Chicken meal and he liked that as well. I had the Crispy Chicken meal and I have zero complaints. Haven't ate the chocolate brownie pudding jar dessert yet, but it looks really good. read more

Absolutely disappointed, went to slims for a 10 for 10 after 10 meal and 5 minutes in a worker came out and said "it ain't on sale no mo." Gotta be illegal to bait and switch a whole city of college students. Very disappointed, will be returning. False advertising read more

I'm really confused. This is my first time here, and I obviously know it was a chicken spot but I don't see what differentiates it from the rest. I ordered the 3x3 basket. 3 wings and 3 tenders which came with a side, toast and two sauce choices. For my side I got the cole slaw...bad choice. For my sauces I got ranch and Korean BBQ. The wings were ok, I ordered them hot. I enjoyed the flavor but they weren't hot at all. I asked the cashier how hot they were and I should've listened. Her words "not hot at all" lol. Might want to change it to state "medium" on the menu. The chicken tenders, meh, Canes is much better, breading wasnt very crispy and didn't taste made fresh. Now for the worst part. Do not order their cole slaw. I took one bite and threw my fork down. Might be the worst slaw I've had at a chicken spot. If I did go back I'd only order the wings and try different sauce choices. That's about it, and their sweet tea was good. Again, I just feel like it's the same place as Zaxby's, nothing unique from this experience... And it wants really bad to be Raising Canes. read more

Slim Chickens - 3x3 hot wings and tenders, Cole slaw. - Chicken Wings Near Me - Stillwater, Oklahoma

Ordered a Buffalo wrap with grilled chicken that's it. Waited as the only car in the drive through for over 15 minutes. The wrap contained maybe one tender worth of chicken (two little squares in each half), a half a cup of tomatoes and a good amount of lettuce that I would swear has never been washed because it tasted like dirt it made the whole wrap taste like dirt even over the buffalo sauce. Took two bites and threw the whole thing away. Absolutely horrible. read more

Advertising 10 for $10 after 10 pm just for us to come at 10:10 and they said it's not on sale anymore. Did someone say bait and switch?

We rolled in mid afternoon on a Saturday and the place was empty. (We don't like crowds.) Let me just say the chicken was delish! Try all the dipping sauces! Our favorite was Cayenne Ranch that was recommended by the young lady that took our order. We were hoping to try dessert, but we were all so full there was no way. My oldest kid & I may make a special trip over there just to try dessert. The folks running the restaurant were helpful and the restaurant was super clean. We will definitely be going back! read more

The two girls at the front on January 1st. They were very rude to customers. The food is amazing I come here about 3 times a week. But for some reason it is always this girl taking my order and she's very mean about it. When I came up to the counter she didn't say anything at all and just looked at me. When I said my order she kinda gave a sigh. Then this women and her two kids left slims. They said have a great day and then when they were walking out they talked to each other and pointed because at the table because there food was still there. I really like the food but if the customer service is a **** like this again I won't be attending anymore. read more

Other then them missing the extra sauce I ordered I also got a really really warm Dr Pepper and a hot ice tea. Last time going, kept giving them the benefit of the doubt with how many times they miss things due to staff shortage around the country read more

Got a take out for 2 & drove to a another area to eat. The gravy container was not only not filled it resembled mash potatoes because it was not hot, thick & lumpy. After biting into my second piece I see a hair completely attached in the coating. The only reason I gave it 2 stars was the mac & cheese was good. read more

Slim's is Quality food, a beautiful establishment, and good service. The sauces are amazing and I love the variety. Tenders are the way to go, as the wings aren't that great. read more

I have frequented Slim's in Stillwater since it opened. The staff and service had always been amazing till today. I pulled up to the drive through around 12:45, not surprised there was line. I was surprised that cars moved out of the line as I waiting. After 5-7mins I moved up to place my order. I could get the worker talking into her headset. She kept exclaiming "Oh wow!" "Oh my god!" And laughing. She asked my order and as I was saying it she starts exclaiming over her headset again. She had to ask me to repeat my order for a second time. I pulled around and noticed the car at the window had to ask a few time for different things. I do not usually say this about food workers because I was one, but I don't know if she high, stupid. Or what. I would have accept new as an excuse for her behavior but she had a trainer shirt on. I waited at the window for almost 5 mins before she opened it, mentioning "I've never seen it so busy over here. I'm just making a big old mess." She then hands me my bag and I hand her my card. I check the bag to make sure I got the correct food, which I did. I then wait another 2-3 mins before she opens the window again and ask what else I needed. "My card back and my drink." I say. She laughs and hands me my card. " what drink did you have agin?" I had already seen her fill up the drink before. I just left and said never mind. Never have I had such bad service. Do not use the drive through!!! read more

My first visit and my last. First of all, the menu was a bit confusing. They didn't have everything on the menu that they sell. They tried to explain what else they had. Why not just put it in the menu? And why include drinks with the meal? The restaurant was very noisy due to the design, with the high ceilings and empty, hard floors and metal chairs. The food: the "baked" chicken tenders had zero flavor. The dips were unspeakably bad. The blue cheese resembled mayonnaise and had no flavor, same for the ranch. They had no honey. The pros: the people were very, very friendly. The restaurant was clean. The fried chicken tenders were moist and fresh (though bland). The fries were good and fresh. I liked that they had a covered patio and big windows. There is no fault on Stillwater's part. I think the chain just needs to rethink its menu, condiments and building design. read more

Honestly the rudest people I have been around in an establishment lately. I really hope they find a better way to speak to their customers.

The food is good. Potato salad is better than almost any restaurant I can think of and mango habanero wings are amazing. However, they are sloppy in filling drive-thru orders. I ordered a Slim's plate (which comes with five tenders), but got home to find only three chicken tenders. I checked the receipt and they definitely charged for the Slim's plate. read more

Had the buffalo chicken wrap and fried pickles. Pretty tasty for a semi fast food option.

Mango Habenaro hot sauce is excellent. Freshly make chicken tenders very good. Buffalo Chicken salad also good. Clean, friendly service. read more

I ordered two chicks meals and instead of getting the meals I got two kids meals instead of the thing that I have payed for and I was not happy with my experience because when I called to ask about it the girl who picked up the phone was being rude and disrespectful and tried to blame the door dash person of messing it up when the person who delivers the food is only responsible for picking up the food and bringing to the house that they have to bring it to not for what the place puts in it read more

Out of all the Slim's Chickens in Oklahoma, I have to say this one by far is the best! I love to get the fried mushrooms they are always on point the other places mushrooms are very greasy! read more

I enjoyed the chicken strips. They were very good and the restaurant was clean. Staff wasn't quite as friendly as they could have been but they weren't hateful or slow just I guess indifferent would be the best description. They were a little high priced considering you're getting simple chicken strips. read more

Meh is the nicest thing I can say about this place. Was less than impressed. Very overpriced for small tenders. Slim Chickens would be wise to come up with a better motto than "Life Changing Chicken". This chicken did nothing to change my life. The only thing they have going for them is my town is very little competition. We have zero quality chicken restaurants here. Even after their contribution I would say we still have zero quality chicken restaurants here. Unfortunate. read more

Very good food! Service was very good and friendly. We were greeted as we walked in the door and the employee was very helpful when we told her that was our first time there. Very clean and the food was hot and cooked when we ordered it, not hours before. read more

Not bad. But better than Chick Fil A. I usually don't do these for fast food, but I do when I have a complaint. And boy, do I have one now. It took me four times saying I wanted a raspberry tea. Finally the drive thru worker's coworkers yelled to her what I wanted. I said I wanted Slim sauce and spicy BBQ. I got mustard and Slims sauce. 1/2 ain't bad. But when I got to the window, I found out why the lack of understanding; in her other ear was a earbud that was attached to her phone and she wasn't talking to me. Just bad customer service, I shall return but man, that was not my best visit. read more

Took the family here last night for supper. Crowds are finally getting smaller since it has opened. After leaving I wonder if the crowd is smaller for the same reason that I won't being going here very often or if the new is wearing off? I can tell you that this is no life changing chicken, very bland tasting. Chick-fil-a has better tasting chicken tenders. My family was very disappoint. With all the hype, this was a major let down. Our fries were greasy, should've went next door to Freddy's. Lines aren't as long and the food is better. read more

More deep fried food in Stillwater is NOT what we need. The batter slid off the fried pickles too easily and they were so thinly slices, they were hard to dip. The chicken was fine, but nothing special. The Slim sauce was weird. Service was nice and the place was clean, but I still smelled like fried chicken for the rest of the night. I don't need to go back. read more

We we're passing through Stillwater and looking for something to eat when we ran across slim chickens. We wanted to avoid the regular chain restaurants but also didn't want to spend time inside of a restaurant sitting down for a long meal with a waitress. I had never heard of this place before so we stopped in had their chicken fries mac & cheese desert in a jar as well as their fried pie..... All were excellent freshly made the service was wonderful staff very friendly and this place has a huge potential to take on some of the other chicken joints around the US if it would grow appropriately..... I would recommend it as a great meal for fair prices for what you get.... read more

I loveeeee their chicken and their sides! I pray to god they keep their sriracha garlic sauce...

People always joke about how many chicken places that Stillwater has - this is one might just be the best! I love both the grilled and fried tenders! The Cayenne Ranch dipping sauce is the the best! Friendly and helpful staff! We had car problems out in the parking lot and had two employees offer us help!! read more

This place has great chicken strips! The wings aren't bad either, however, the fried pickles I had were a little salty. The cayenne ranch sauce is very good. I love how they give you toast with some of your meals. The service was quick and the environment and decor was really cool. Definitely a great spot to get together with a group of friends and enjoy some good chicken. read more

Great wings, strips, and the best fries in Stillwater if you like them completely crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. (Similar in thickness to McDonald's fries but not as salty or as fake tasting.) Really great sauce selection, though the house-made inferno sauce can be a bit inconsistent; I've ordered it 4 times and only once did it make me sweat. Somewhat pricier than other chicken spots in town, but you really do get what you pay for, and I like that they offer combos without the drink. On Tuesdays you can get student/teacher discounts. read more
