I got a buffalo chicken sandwich, it was good...not great...not bad...good. The chicken was a good size peace of chicken and the bun was great, I just couldn't put my finger on what would make it outstanding. Just missed by a little, wasn't disappointed in my choice but I wouldn't get it again if I make my way back to Minot I would choose something else.

When I came back in and asked to speak to the owner (who we've met before and is always very kind), she outright refused. I asked multiple times, and each time she told me no. I explained how unprofessional it was to keep helping people who arrived after us, and her response was, "If I seat you, I'd have to set you up, and I don't want to make them wait. I'm going to cash them out. " That logic made no sense. So it's okay to make us wait instead? I asked, "Why didn't you ask a server or someone from the back to help? That's what we do where I work. We acknowledge people and take care of them." No response that made any sense, just continued to argue with me and it got heated. It was absolutely ridiculous how she kept arguing with me over us waiting so long and her continuance of cashing out. Where I work it is who is in line in order of walking up. Her logic made no sense at all. Then to blatantly ignore my request to speak to the owner. Then as I'm walking out the door she offers a manager. I had asked multiple times and you kept arguing with me! I said I had enough of you I'm never coming back. What made it worse was that she continued to argue with me instead of trying to resolve the issue or even just apologize. The whole situation left a really bad impression, and honestly, it seems like she's not suited for a customer-facing role. We love this place and have always enjoyed the food and the owner, but this kind of treatment makes us say we aren't coming back. I will say I've had friends, co-workers, and family say the same thing about her. I'm sincere when saying we aren't coming back.

However, upon check out we did not receive the promo we were supposed to receive, nor did we receive credit for the $75 we spent on our visit. Charging customers a high premium like this, you would expect the rewards program promos and credit to be a bit more seamless and functional. Lastly, we were overcharged on our bill. So do be mindful of this if you visit. Would probably not consider going back here. Can definitely get more food for your $ some place else.

Squeeze the lemon on top and be ready to chomp away. Make sure you order the overseas chips, cause I didn't specify and got the American ones instead, I did get the other ones though. Unfortunately the hub bub wasn't feeling his hot beef sandwich but dinner was about me and I loved mine. Recommend: fried pickles, Big Bob's fish and overseas chips.
