I've gone here a few times with my parents and it's one of the best pizza places in Minot. (Papas Murphy's is my number one so I can betray them lol). They have a lot of topping options and crusts. I do wish they have gluten free crust but I understand it can be pretty pricey so I get why they don't. The service is always amazing, super friendly staff that knows how to crack some jokes. The building itself is always clean and has a lot of cool little things for the kids. It really strives to give the "underground pizzeria" which I love. Definitely give it a shot!! read more

I ordered for pickup and it took a very long time for the order to be ready. The staff are very matter of fact and no smiles on any of their faces. The taco pizza was ok not as good as I remember from the Fargo location of Happy Joe's. The prices seem a little high from what I remember though. First, they delivered to my hotel room and the delivery guy lugged two- 2 liters, a order of wings, a large pizza and a cheese breadstick all the way up to our room (thank you so much for that). After going to the North Dakota State Fair and being incredibly out of shape (no thanks to pizza) I could barely walk. The pizza was good...we couldn't get my normal "go to" pizza because my daughter thinks its "gross" and "makes her sick" ....so we settled for pepperoni. The pizza was loaded with pepperoni! Yay! It was good (especially since i was hungry and in pain). The wings are baked not fried so they are "soft" and they tasted good but i prefer my wings a bit crunchy as i do my pizza. The cheese sticks are basically a small pizza covered in cheese...and it was also very good and at this point I'm thinking i should have ordered pasta instead of wings. Overall the place got my order right, the delivery guy was epic and the pizza was pretty darn good! read more

Not sure why my office continues to order from this place. Food is always late, not what they ordered, and cold and gross. Glad I signed them off as a failure when I got horrible food and even worse customer service. The girls in my office ordered over an hour ago and still have no food. I wonder if they'll put mayo on their salads instead of SOUR CREAM like they did last time. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON CRAPPY FOOD AND PISS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more

Thank You Minot Happy Joe's for not ruining my "Happy Joe's" experience!!! I knew I could count on this location to make the Pizza that has the trademark that Happy Joe's is known for! We ordered the large Taco pizza and a Large Canadian Bacon & Sauerkraut, along with 2 little Joe's for the kids. ALL the pizzas were outstanding. Made to perfection and tasted GREAT! The place was clean, the tables were full and the workers were so nice and kind. When a table was empty, it was immediately cleaned. Seems to me that this place keeps pretty busy, and my trip from Texas was complete because I got my pizza from my favorite pizza parlor. read more

We ordered pizza when my family was in Minot for a trip. They said delivery in 45-60 min. Arrived in 30 minutes with plenty of plates and napkins. The Deluxe Meat pizza was amazing, not greasy and there was plenty of meat. The Taco Pizza was amazing and the taco sauce delicious. Almost wanted to order one to take home. The delivery order took an hour and fifteen minutes. The quoted time was 45 minutes. I wouldn't have minded, but then they forgot part of the order. They also forgot to sauce the hot wings. Everything was cold and soggy, the chips were stale, and the bread on my sandwich tasted extremely doughy. Whether it was raw or it's just how it tastes normally, it was gross. I'm not a picky eater, but I ended up throwing the whole order in the trash. It was completely inedible. $40 wasted. I will not order from them again. read more

Just okay. I'm from Northern CA and I'm used to GOOD pizza, which is impossible to find in Minot. This is the best pizza I've had in town, and I've tried many. We had the Chicken bacon ranch (highly recommend) and Pepperoni (the sauce tasted like it doubled as pasta sauce, too sweet for my taste). read more

I first remember going to a Happy Joe's in Washington, Illinois for a birthday party when I was growing up. When my family moved to Texas in 1981, I had forgotten about Happy Joes. Then in 1989, my new wife and I were moving from Texas to Minot, North Dakota as this was my first base after training in the Air Force. We stayed at The International Inn as we arrived about 3 days early so that we could drive around and get to know the town. We are 20 years old and were married 10 days before I left for basic training. I could not believe my eyes when I saw Happy Joe's Pizza on the North Hill. I thought, surely this couldn't be the same as I had went to back in Illinois, but it was! We would eat there on occasion and even went to a few birthday parties that friends had for their children. It was a great place with good pizza. One memory in particular was the day after the United States began the air bombing campaign in Baghdad during Desert Storm, we were there eating lunch and watching the news. We left Minot in 1992 as my enlistment was up and returned home to Texas. The past few weeks, Minot was brought again to the forefront of my thoughts with the flooding. Our thoughts and prayers are with the wonderful, hard working people of Minot. I see the location has changed since we have been there, maybe twice, but I am sure Happy Joe's is still a WONDERFUL place for kids and adults alike! read more
