Not bad if you are trying to satisfy a pizza craving. Much cheaper than Pizza Hut or Dominoes. However, prepare to wait for food to be brought out to the buffet. The buffet is very small, so as soon as fresh pizzas are brought out, they go very quickly. We spent a lot of time waiting for food to eat. The dessert pizzas, cookie pizza, and ice cream machine were big hits. The salad bar was better than average. It has potential to be even better. Ordered wings to go and they were pretty good! They were smothered in bbq sauce and had thick skin but they weren't bad. The fries tased like Arby's curly fries but were crunchy. The service was slow. We were 20 min late to pick up and we still waited 15 min for our order. When I walked in it reminded me of a golden Carroll. Atmosphere - Located near Walmart, their parking lot is just north of Walmart's.  Easy access to their building, and even easier if you use the drive up window for the pick up of your order.  I do not use it as I was over 10 minutes early.  Inside is rustic American feel, wood being the main decor feature.  Entrance leads you to the cashier via long path, but the exit is the same path which becomes cumbersome if there are people in line. Food - I was really craving a hearty meat pizza tonight.  I order their BRONCO™ (all meat) pizza which is topped with beef, Italian sausage, pepperoni, Canadian bacon, bacon pieces.  Unlike most pizza places my pizza had the pepperoni on top, most pepperonis were even loose from the cheese allowing for a nice crispness to form on them.  I had the pizza on their original crust which was a bit thicker than I like.  Plenty of cheese as it was hard to see where the pizza was cut as the cheese was melting back together.  The right amount for my cheese desires. Service - Placed my order at 5 PM via the phone and was told 30 minutes.  Some reason I left early and arrived early.  So I took my Yelp pictures of the outside area.  Waited a short bit to see the cashier as she was helping another couple.  I explained why was there.  Of course she asked who I was, my ordered was not there.  She than asked what I ordered, I was placed under the name Tall.  I do not consider myself above average height.  She said she figured it out because Paul and Tall rhyme.  It was 5:20 PM and the pizzas where ready to go, glad I was early as I was told 5:30 PM.  The pizza was cooked perfectly.  It was sliced evenly and completely, no challenges pulling a slice out. Tried Pizza Ranch for the first time yesterday and it was.. decent. The salad bar has plenty of options, but not all of it was fresh. The pizza is pretty good and they have several different options to choose from, but it definitely wasn't the best that I've had by any means. The dessert bar was kinda sad. Very few options, but the cookie cake was really good! The restaurant itself is clean and the staff were friendly. The worker at the desk when we walked was very welcoming. This place was trash. They didn't have any Covid precautions like gloves or hand sanitizer by the Buffet. The food was disgusting. No seasoning, no signs to even tell you what kind of pizza is out. Not sure if there is new management in the last few months, but this place has gone down hill quickly. My family and I went tonight and as soon as you walk in you hear the vulgar music with explicit language coming from behind the counter. We could still hear the music from our seats (even after the lady who rung us up told them to turn it down), so my husband went back up front and asked to speak to a manager who came out from the back room where the music was coming from, so clearly aware of how loud it was. Tables weren't wiped down, and hardly a clean spot on the floor. It looked as though the carpets hadn't been vacuumed all weekend. The salad dressings at the salad bar were slimy and hadn't been wiped down in a while. We saw plenty of employees, but not many of them doing any work. read more

Really not much to say about this place. It's a small pizza buffet that looks like a buffet with some other food offerings. A bit expensive for what is offered. Pizza was decent enough. Not great, not bad. It's what you expect from a place like this. The cheese pizza was interesting though as it did NOT have any sauce! It was glorified pizza bread. The salad bar was okay. It amazes me this place is named after pizza when that isn't even the best thing they serve. The pizza is marginal at best, even if you have them make which ever kind you want (which they will). The chicken is amazing. There isn't much more to say about it except its cooked perfectly, loaded with flavor and juice. The chicken pulls off the bone so easy and has always been hot. The beans were wonderful too. You could totally taste the bacon they added and a hint of onion. Another secret to something great here other than the pizza...the coffee. In total I ate about 11 pieces of chicken with a few slices of pizza which absolutely made the price of the buffet (about $10) completely worth it. Pro: they will make literally any kind of pizza you want and bring it out to your table before putting it on the buffet Con: it's pretty average pizza. I've had better and I've had worse. The rest? there isn't much else. For a buffet your options are fairly limited, it's either pizza or fried chicken with mashed potatoes and one or two other things (usually a vegetable and some other form of chicken and potatoes like chicken nuggets and french fries). The only thing that seems to change on the non-pizza section of the buffet is what variant of chicken and potato is available from day to day (it could be wings and tater tots one day or chicken fingers and waffle fries the next) The fried chicken is usually good (if you are there when it's busy enough to be brought out fresh), though it runs a bit on the bland side. I find myself dosing the mash potatoes with pepper and than eating it together with the chicken. The salad bar is typically kept fresh though it is pretty small and generic. The soups are rarely any good (the chili soup is particularly blah) The desert pizza's are fairly interesting, they typically have a few fruits to choose from and I do particularly enjoy the blueberry. We tend to come here occasionally when my girlfriend needs a quick pizza fix, it's in a convenient location and it's fairly cheap and for whatever reason she really likes the pizza (compared to me being fairly ambivalent towards it). I'll graze a slice or two than a chicken leg and a salad before settling into desert pizza with some ice cream while she's still trying every pizza on the buffet and than asking for something else that they have to make fresh. Strangely enough they somehow manage to have one of the best soft serve ice cream machines I've ever experienced (though they only have on flavor, vanilla). I'd be tempted to come here just for the ice cream (though I don't know if they have that as an option, somehow I doubt it). Ambiance wise, it's a family place (often with lots of kids), so it can be noisy and the ever present country music is sometimes turned up a bit too loud. But the staff is friendly and they do seem to keep the place clean; and most importantly (for a buffet anyway), they do seem to keep the food rotated and fresh. Overall if you find yourself in the area (it is right near the Walmart and if you live in or near Minot... well, you end up near Walmart more often than you probably want to...) than it's not a terrible option for the price. There are better choices, but they will cost more and most of your options in the same price range or less are worse in food quality. Note: This is one of those places that makes me wish Yelp had a more granular level of star ratings. What I mean is if we could rate on a scale of 1 to 10 I'd probably give it a 6 or 7 (which in a 1 out of 5 star should translate to about a 3.5), but we can't rate in half stars and we can't rate on a scale of 1 to 10. So that leaves me with either giving it a 3 or a 4. I can't quite justify giving it a 4, though it probably does deserve more than the 3 rating that I'm stuck with due to Yelps limitations. read more

This is an EXCELLENT pizza buffet restaurant. Clean, nicely furnished and friendly restaurant. Food choices are pizza, bbq / fried chicken, many salad bar items and several desserts including dessert pizzas. All of the food has really good presentation and good tasting. PLUS they'll make and serve you any kind of pizza you want, what more do you need. I don't understand some lower ratings, because this not is a five-star restaurant. Worst customer service I have ever encountered. Ordered pizza. Was told 45 min to an hour. After an hour and a half, my husband called back and was told it was on the way. After two hours I called and was put on hold and hung up on. Once we finally got our pizza, after 2 hrs 15 min, it was cold and gross but we were too hungry to care. For the record, our hotel was about four blocks away. But the manager was quick to tell us how short staffed he was. I wouldn't work there either, it was that badly managed. read more
