I ordered the new Dipper sandwich with cheddar broccoli soup, and my mother-in-law also had the soup with a different sandwich. Panera was literally the only food I ate that entire day because I had a 2-hour drive home and was looking forward to finally sitting down and having a good meal. Instead, shortly after leaving, I started feeling extremely sick. By the time I got home, I was vomiting, and I continued throwing up throughout the entire night and into Sunday morning. I ended up with what appeared to be food poisoning, and it completely ruined my weekend. It's incredibly frustrating to drive TWO HOURS for food that I've always loved, only to end up spending the rest of the night violently sick. I understand that things can happen, but this was an absolutely miserable experience and definitely makes me think twice about ever making that drive again. I really hope Panera takes food safety seriously, because getting sick like this after spending that much money and traveling that far is completely unacceptable.
