We were out of town traveling back home and spotted this Slim Chickens. We have this chain at our home and like it a lot. This one was different. First, it was about 12:30pm (church crowd) and the floors looked like they'd just been mopped and it was extremely slippery. Yes, they had their signs up, but you had to shuffle your feet so you wouldn't slip. Lots of complaints coming from customers on that. Also, we had to wait over 20 mins for our food to be brought out. They were definitely under-manned. And finally, our chicken tenders weren't nearly as big as they are at our hometown Slims. Let's just say if I'd never been to one before, I doubt that I'd return. read more

I went through drive through and waited around 10 or minutes for my food and it was all cold and old. I usually enjoy the food service and the food but the people working were disrespectful and again the food was okie and cold. read more

Great new restaurant that offers some variety from the normal options in town. Wings are pretty common but the wraps and tenders are stellar. Also a big fan of the deserts in a mason jar. Get the cheddar wrap plate with fries and sweet tea and a desert of the day and you are set. read more

The sauce was great, otherwise they'd get a 2 from me. I ordered a "classic" meal which consists of 4 tenders and fries. $9.00 after tax. I opened the box when I got home and was amazed at how little food there was. The tenders were no longer than 3". My 4 year old son could've slammed that $9 meal. The quality of the fried tenders isn't impressive therefore not understanding the limited portion. I guess it's all about the $ now. They won't get mine again, unfortunately. read more

Tried Slim Chickens on more than one occasion to see if the "newness" would've worn off. I'm pleased to say, it has not. The chicken is high quality, and I HIGHLY recommend the hot wings. Not too expensive, but worth the money due to the fact you get more chicken than breading. Could definitely be worse. read more

Pros - Even though the sign said each order was cooked to order, it only took 4 minutes. I'm not sure how they cook and package the chicken in 4 minutes. Cons - The chicken was only fair. Only one little sauce comes with the 10pc family order. Extra sauces cost extra. They shorted us a Cole slaw which turned out to be not that bad because we tasted my daughters Cole slaw and it was gross. It had WAY too much pepper and celery seed seasoning. Nice service and good fast food that doesn't taste like fast food. Maybe it's the people here, but the waitress was definitely service oriented. She was friendly and helpful while we sifted through the options of food to order. We had the 10 piece chicken wings and the salad with grilled chicken. I had the Chick plate which consists of three chicken strips, a side, and drink for $7. The service was good, the price was great, and the place was clean. I really wanted to be wowed by the food, but it was bland. The meat seemed to be good quality, but please add some spice to that batter. Also, drain off some of the grease before serving. I had to wrap a paper towel around the chicken and squeeze the grease out of it. I liked the fries. It is a new place and I think it has potential. read more

Not bad. The chicken was high quality. The fries were nice and crisp. The place was clean, after all it's new. It's rather loud as the acoustics are awful. The chicken probably would. Have been better with a little more breading and a couple more minutes in the fryer but that's a personal taste. The fries were extra crisp with a light seasoned salt flavor. The regular BBQ sauce is delicious. The mango habanero sauce is great IF you can take the heat. Clean restrooms as well. Give it a chance. read more

I came in thinking that this will be a fast food place with same old same old chicken, but this place was GOOD. The food was hot and delicious. The place was also very clean. The only reason one star was off was there was a little confusion in my order, but that might have been my fault. My mother in law brought me to slim chickens for my first time this week! We both ordered chicken and waffles and got a kids meal for my daughter. When they brought out our food there was only one order of waffles. They realized that the cashier had asked them to drop both orders but only rang up one, my mother in law quickly went to pay for a second order, While we waited for that order the manager came out, Her name is Jessica! Not only did she give us a free waffles since it had already been dropped but also gave us two free deserts. Her and the cashier were both extremely apologetic and so sweet!! The customer service was phenomenal!! And the food was sooooo yummy!! I will definitely be going back! Jessica especially was so sweet! read more

About a year ago I wrote in due to the absolutely disgusting state of this establishment, swore to never go back. I was told they were under new management and to please return and look for the great improvements...I gave them 2-3 months and then returned....to my dismay the entire place was even more filthy and disgusting than before. Windows you couldn't even see out of due to the nasty handprints, tables so sticky the cardboard boats literally tear away when you pick them up that we waited over 22 min to receive...... I left irritated because you lied to me. You changed nothing! I have refused to go back until last week, my husband insisted it had to be better. Once again walk in the line at the drive thru is wrapped around the building, there is 1 person in the kitchen, 6 tables all waiting for food, and the place is an absolute disaster! No paper towels to dry my hands, sink looks like it hadn't been cleaned in a year! Filthy!!! We left and walked to tacos 4 life, had our food in less than 8 minutes in a clean establishment even had paper towels in the restroom. Since then my children and husband have asked to go back at least once a week I have refused! We have spent our money elsewhere. We have visited other Slims locations around the state however. Today we were in northwest Arkansas and went to the location on Wedington!! Wow! It was so clean, our food came out piping hot and in less than 10 minutes and the place was PACKED!!! Orders flying out the drivethru as well! You should take notes from them! Clean up your filthy restaurant or you will be closed in less than 6 months! I won't be back ever again.
