I called Mica for my rental property, which had an old exterior sliding door that was crooked and not locking properly. He was quick to reply and was able to stop by the same day. I wish all service experiences were this good. I clicked the "request a quote" button from Yelp, and got a response within a few hours. Mica called and we agreed on a convenient time. I believe he said that he'd provide a quote when he saw the door. On the agreed day, he texted 20 minutes in advance of the appointment saying he would be there at exactly the time we planned. He called (it's a rental and I was not there) 5 minutes later with a diagnosis and a very fair price. I okayed the work, and 35 minutes later he texted saying the work was done. Within a couple of hours a invoice arrived via text, which I was able to pay via Apple Pay. Both the door and the experience were frictionless and very professional. The only strange part of the experience had nothing to do with Sliding Door Repair Solutions. During the "request a quote" process, I was 95% certain that I made the selection for no other vendors to get in touch. Shortly thereafter, I got unwanted calls, texts, and emails from other providers. It is approaching summer and I thought it was time to fix my slider. I called Mica and we arranged a time for an estimate. He did mention that he most often has parts with him and would be able to do the repair the same day. I appreciated the one stop appointment. As promised, he called me 25 minutes before arrival. I was given an estimate, which I thought was a little high, but gave him the approval to do the job (fix slider and replace the screen on the outside door). He worked for a good 2 plus hours. He cleaned out my years of caked on dirt in the tracks. I was very surprised at how efficiently he tackled the job. I do not have any comparison since this is the first time I've had the door maintained in 30 years. I had called a few other companies. A larger company declined my job but did give me a referral to Mica. Another company put me on a long hold while they "found" someone to talk to me...I hung up. I had an opportunity to talk to Mica and found out he is an independent self employed company that specializes only in sliders (closet and glass) and screen doors. I charged this job.
