Went here last night with my cousin . We split to different sliders . We had the burgers you get 4 they have cheese pickle and a creamy buffalo sauce we got the sweet potato fries. I got the pulled pork sliders with coleslaw carmelized onions and pickle with the tater tots . Our waitress was great . . It's a nice sports bar restaurant. Definitely recommend. We went to sliders bar and Grill in Middletown for Bar rated trivia. It's our second favorite style of trivia in Connecticut behind DJ trivia. We got the buy 6 get 6 wings deal which is every Tuesday . Service was decent and the server was very friendly. Wings are always cooked well, and the sauces are delicious. They have all kinds of flavors you get to choose from. This is a really nice spot in the summer because they have a nice pond in the back with a little fountain and a nice sitting area in the back of the restaurant. read more

This is my favorite sports bar in the area! Love going here for Sunday football as there are so many different tv's playing all of the games! It is hard as a Seahawks fan to get the stream on this side of the country, but Sliders never fails! The (extensive) selection for wing flavors, both house-made sauces and dry rubs! My favorite sauce is the Wicked Taco & Honey Cajun for a dry rub. If you like a bit of spice these 2 are a must try! Wait staff and bartenders are very nice and attentive to guests, no matter how busy the restaurant is! read more

We went here with a sizable group and the staff seemed confused how to handle big groups (15ppl) but one person came by every 10min to check (and would proceed to only take one order). The have a great area to watch sports games for the large groups too, and there weren't many other people inside or outside. Anyways, I ordered a chicken cesar wrap, and I think I got the chicken BLT since the chicken was crispy and there was bacon. It was good, I ate it but the wrap did kind of fall apart. read more

If you've been to one Sliders, you've been to them all. I don't mean that to denigrate the chain. They're all that good! (The Middletown one is the most scenic, in my opinion, if you like a view with your food.) The waitress was overwhelmed and made some minor mistakes on a busy Saturday night, but she made things right and it all worked out in the end. Can't wait to come back. My review of the Plantsville Sliders says it all, but I will say that the wings are to die for, in case that wasn't clear yet. I prefer them bone-in, but the larger boneless wings are a much better value. This time, I got a steak sandwich instead of wings, and I must say, this chain is not a one-trick pony. It's all good. read more

Sliders Bar & Grill - Steak sandwich. This was my first time not getting wings at a Sliders, and I've got to say, this place isn't a one-trick pony. - Chicken Wings Near Me - Middletown, Connecticut

First time at a Sliders & it's true...they have some great wings! Meaty, cooked nicely so they aren't dry. Went with a honey garlic dry rub & the sweet & smokey. Both were delicious. For the entrées, had the fish wrap, with curly fries & the apple walnut salad. There were no disappointments. We also had the chocolate chip blondie dessert & that was ok. Some parts tasted burnt, but it was piping hot & went well with the cold vanilla ice cream. Sliders is a great place to watch the games. Tv's galore! So if you don't find a seat in the large bar room don't worry. There are plenty in dining room areas. The staff have no issues with changing the stations if needed. There's also Keno here, if that's your thing. read more

I know this is a popular place or maybe it's the bar. Our first time. We wanted some wings. In addition to the wings we ordered southwest egg rolls and cauliflower bites. The wings were way over breaded and overcooked leading to dry chewy bites. The egg rolls were also overcooked. The only things not overcooked were the cauliflower bites which arrived 10 minutes after the other food. The server was nice but at just under $2 per wing for junk. Won't be back any time soon. read more

Service is awful -food is pretty good. We went there on a Saturday night. The bar area was packed so we went to the dinning area. There were not many tables filled there. From then on everything was super slow!! We had already picked our food by the time the waitress came over. She brought the drinks and we didn't see her again until the check came. A kitchen person brought the food. We had no silverware or napkins, no mayo my husband asked for and his food was cold. We payed the bill right away when the waitress showed back. We won't go back to that location!! read more

If I could give them a no star review I would. They continually do not get my order right. Everytime it's one thing or another They have ot charged me for my meal because they screwed it up and still screwed it up Their kitchen staff can not read a ticket and get it right. give us another chance they say and still no difference. I am done giving them chances to screw up my dinner. I pay good money and would like it made right IM DONE Channel 3 is my next letter !! read more

Must be nice to have such a steady stream of business that you can put a customer on hold without warning. For more than 5 minutes. I called to order wings to pick up and was 1/2 way through my order (I was up to the sauce!) when the server audibly spoke to his manager about something and asked me to hold for a sec. After 5 minutes without a word or even bad elevator music, I was quite, understandably I think, pissed off. Won't be calling back. read more

Went for a casual Friday night din din a little late 730-8ish. Parking lot moderately full still a few spots left. Walked in and sat at a booth in the bar which We we're hoping for, there also an outdoor patio space available. We like the bar area better than the dining room just seems like your more involved. There are several TVs with many options if you like that, there's Keno and trivia games as well. The dining room is ok for parties larger than 4 people. Waitress came right over with menus and took our drink order. She promptly came back with our beverages and took our app order. We started out with pickles which were crispy and piping hot and the spinach artichoke dip, so good my favorite. Waitress was prompt at checking back to see if we wanted to order dinners and we did. Those were out relatively quick maybe 15-20 min not long at all, we were just about done with apps. I got the Buffalo chicken Mac and cheese and hubs got Buffalo ranch boneless chicken. Both came out hot chicken was cooked well not dry and slightly crispy. The mac and cheese was creamy and yummy mixed with the Buffalo chicken with had a little zip to it. Overall a yummy dinner we were way too stuffed for dessert. We live fairly close to the Wallingford one and choose to drive 25 min out to Middletown because it's clean and updated and the staff is always great. read more

Sliders is the best! Their wings are delicious and they have so many different/unique flavors to choose from. My favorite is the Buffalo blue boneless. The service is spot on, the servers are always extremely helpful. The Wallingford location has a ton of space and even an upstairs area for parties. read more

Absolutely horrible....sat in a bar booth and was basically ignored by the bartender...couldn't get a second drink, didn't come back after our food was delivered and we were right there...the food was okay...we will try again but not for awhile read more

I have been here several times. At first it was good for what it is/was. Now it's awful. I know prices have gone up, but really? For $6.98 I expect more than 20 tater tot's. I Could buy a whole bag for less than that and have 10 times more than that. Then the service. When I questioned it with the bartender she said that's what they gave you, so it must be the serving. She didn't even bother coming over to look at it. I have purchased enough baskets of toys from there to know it's not a side I was given. Mistakes are made when coming. They are rushed, but the servers should really pay attention also. It was her blatant, uncaring remark that bothered me. P.S. I did t count the tater tots, but here is a picture for a reference on how little I was given. read more

Awesome spot! We were looking for a new place to have good bar food and drinks. Stumbled upon sliders and we were lucky enough to show up when Kaylee was working the bar! (Never met her before) she made us feel at home instantly and our special guest was given V.I.P treatment. Wings were on point and the other apps we had were great. The best part was the service and amazing treatment we received. She was alone in a very busy bar but we never knew it until we left! Definitely going back!! read more

It took about 15 minutes or so for our food to get to us after we ordered it and we were the only people in the dining room; just my wife and I. It was mid day and there were some cars in the parking lot but they must've all been in the bar. She ordered a salad inside of a tortilla, and I ordered a BLT that had a fried egg in it, which I requested, because I thought it would be unique. It was on a sourdough bread and very good actually. The place was clean and the staff was wearing masks and all the appropriate stuff. read more

So happy this Sliders is finally open in Middletown! We have been anxiously awaiting it since we heard the news. Sure, there are places to get wings in Middletown, but most are inconsistent. I have always loved sliders and think it's great we have a legit sports bar in town now. For our first trip, we went on a Saturday night and grabbed a booth in the bar. Service was prompt. Drinks and refills came out quickly. Our food came out quickly and the order was correct. They even got the blue cheese/ranch orders correct, which so many places screw up (I'm a ranch; my husband blue cheese). The wings had a ton of sauce and were tasty! My only lesson learned is that if you just order wings, the come with "original" crispiness, but you can also order "well done" or "very well done". I saw that on the online ordering page after we had left. I would have liked them a little crispier so will definitely explore these options the next time we go! They were still great - the chicken itself was fully cooked and not slimy like a certain chain that I will no longer eat at...just could have had more of crunch on the skin. I also forgot to sign up for the rewards program, so will be doing that now as well. I anticipate coming here quite often! Welcome to the neighborhood, Sliders! read more

Sadly we found the only place in New England that can't do a decent job of fish and chips. Very thin and microwaved too long. My shoe soles were staring back at me on the plate. Waitress asked how things were and we showed her the mess. She brought back 2 more pieces cooked exactly the same. Wings are their thing so we messed up. Perhaps. It's really just a sports bar. Get drunk and wash down their bad food and enjoy the game. read more

Worst sliders I've been to. Tried them 3 separate times and had an issue each time. 1st time ordered to go at the bar and waited 45mins for my small to go order. Food came out to many customers around me who ordered well after me. 2nd time, I called in, I was left on hold for almost 20mins! I hung up because I drove past and felt it wasn't worth it. 3rd time! Got my call in order placed, when I got home I saw they missed half my order. Only gave me 6 boneless one flavor instead of 10 and 2 flavors. All set with this trash place. Get new management and fix your staff. Good luck. read more

Decent meals but have had much better. I ordered the 10 piece crispy wings with general Tso sauce. They were okay but many other local places are better. My fiancée ordered the Buffalo Mac and cheese. This tasted a bit off. Hard to describe exactly why it was "off", but the flavor was lacking. read more

This place is half a bar seating and half resturant dining. The service wasn't the greatest. They had a lot of wing dauces choice but decided to go burger. I have been coming here for the passed few years and the wings never disappoint. The buffalo parmesan wings are my favorite, but I always make sure to try a fun flavor here and there. I do on occasion enjoy the peanut butter and jelly wings. The steak tacos are my favorite entree- the queso is the best part! I also enjoy their burgers and fries! This place never misses. My favorite time is going in the summer when it's warm and you can sit by the water. The live music is always great! Can't wait to come back! The staff always strikes up a great conversation. And you cannot forget to grab a beer! read more

I've been to sliders in middletown now 3 or 4 times. All I can say is that, everything is inconsistent. Sometimes the beer was cold, other times it wasn't. Sometimes the boneless wings are meaty, and sometimes they look like kids nuggets. And dont even get me started on their bone in wings. They have the same amount of meat as a mini golf pencil. Futhermore, I would like to take the chef of sliders to the grocery store to show him or her what bacon is.When I order maple BACON wings or buffalo BACON ranch wings I expect there to be BACON on my wings. I will even buy the chef a few pounds of bacon so he or she could put bacon on other customers wings because obviously sliders cant afford bacon. I also find the the tv setup odd. They only have 4 TVs over the bar. They have a lot of tvs around the tables and booths but only 4 at the bar which at best you could see 2, and if you sit on the ends of the bar only 1. And one more thing. To the owner or manager. If your going to have someone be a bartender, can you train them on what type of beers you sell? I get it, it's hard to learn every beer, but when you ask for a Corona premier and the bartender tells you it doesnt exist, yet it's on your beer menu, and in plain view in the glass door refrigerator, there might be a problem there. read more

Drove a bit out of our way to visit this place for their amazing wings. They have 35 different sauces and dry rubs to choose from (yes, I counted lol). They actually allow a sampling of as many of these as you want...which is great! The boneless wings were HUGE and crispy, yet unbelievably moist and tender. The available sides to choose from are endless. We enjoyed the macaroni and cheese and onion rings with our wing platters, which were both great. I've also had their burgers, which are half a pound and contain brisket and short rib. Juicy and tasty. Need I say more? read more

I placed a pretty big order or wings, wraps, mini burgers (did not like the taste). Everything was ok until we opened the salad. The cucumbers were rotten. Like floppy transparent smell bad rotten. Which is weird because the rest of the salad was NOT rotten. How that happens is beyond me. I understand that we are in tough times with the restaurant being closed to the public and only to-go orders being taken. But there really is no excuse. Makes me doubt if we are going to ever go back. Gross. read more

I thought I had reviewed earlier. Tonight we went and had the best service and food ever there. We don't go often because side the service is awful at best. Tonight was a welcome change. Rachel was awesome. She checked on us without being intrusive. She brought a glass of ice for my wine in case it wasn't cold enough (it was) but it was nice to have a server who understands that Pinot Grigio should be chilled. The food was the best we have had here since they opened. We don't go often even though we can walk there because of previous bad experiences. We will go back again and hope Rachel is working when we go. read more

For Dinner i ordered a Sliders Classic asked for it with cheddar cheese , bacon and onion rings. it came with no bacon American Cheese and Fries. can I leave 0 stars? We sat at the bar and it was easily 20 minutes before anyone brought menus and they didn't even take a drink order. it's a large bar area and there were about 4 people behind the bar (although you wouldn't know because they were all hiding behind the "island"). We had to catch someone while they were dropping something off to another guest at the bar to place both food and drink orders. it seems as though if you aren't a regular on a first name basis, they really don't pay you any attention. As someone who was in the restaurant industry for over 10 years, I would be mortified. it wasn't that they were "in the weeds" they just didn't care. read more

I REALLY REALLY enjoy Sliders wings!!! I feel like I have tried a lot in Connecticut and no one satisfies my cravings like Sliders. To the texture, flavor and heat. I've never had cold wings. They are generous with dressing the wings. My go to flavors is angry bbq, hot buffalo and garlic Parmesan (ask for wet) it's like the best Parmesan sauce EVERR. But today I was brave and tried their insane buffalo 6 pieces is good anything more than that I think I would die!!! I have visited allll locations and the recipes are consistent which is FANTASTIC. Very good place to go for food, drink and snacks. Food is very good, offers meat and non-meat choices, has appetizers, wraps, and main dishes. Child friendly. Also has outdoor seating. Service is very good and attentive, and they let you finish one course at a time before piling on the next one. Indoors has TV screens, outdoors is on a large pond. And they will refresh your soft drinks. We came with a group of eight. If you have a salad try their Slider Dressing. Prices are slightly higher than some similar places but not out of line. My wife had a Philly Steak and Cheese wrap...excellent. The group shared a large nacho tray with cheese and taco sauce. It can also comes with meat dip. Most of everything the group ordered was excellent. There was only one problem...I ordered the Mac and Cheese and it was delicious but cold. I sent it back and five minutes later they brought it out to me. Still fairly cold. Took it home for reheating. (They were busy that night which might account for that gaffe. But to get it cold twice?) We intend to go back next week for lunch. read more

9/24/18 I stopped in to Sliders for lunch, on my way home from running a couple of errands early this afternoon. It was convenient, and Buffalo wings were what I had in mind. I was seated by a friendly young woman in the dining area that is separate from the lounge & bar. A nice quiet place to dine. Being lunch time, I wasn't starving, so some mildly hot wings were in order, and that's what I requested, along with the ubiquitous celery, carrots & blue cheese dressing. The wings came to the table freshly cooked & piping hot. The sauce was just perfectly spicy for my not too hot tastes, but I'm thinking that I can stop wondering why there are so few pigeons in the Middletown, Connecticut area. They must all be getting trapped and clipped of their wings, because the ones served to me were awfully small. Either that or the chickens that sacrificed their wings were baby chicks. They tasted ok, so I guess no harm - no fowl......pardon the pun. It wasn't so bad that I wouldn't consider returning, but only if it didn't take me at all out of my way, just as today. read more

Very disappointing! I recall having the pleasure of meeting the owner in the past. He talked about providing good food and a fun environment to the customer's. I'm sorry to say...this is no longer the case. My family placed an order for food to go that came to an impressive total of $65 for an order in the past that would not exceed $42. Hmm. As for the order; 2 large orders of boneless chicken and 2 orders of Tater Tots (since you cannot order platters any longer, why is that?) By the way, they forget one order of plain Ole tater tots. As for the sauces on the chicken. Mango Habenero, this is a great sauce that should kick you in the mouth and give a nice tingle to your lips...nope. it was lightly added and did not have any spice nor flavor applied to t he overdone, dry chicken. Sweet chili, a little dash of sweet. No actual chili. However, the order of PB & J was a different flavor but seemed to help the dry chicken that it was coated on. Buffalo Parm was a good balance of seasoning, sauce to the chicken. All in, i would recommend a Quality Control audit be done to get the food back to how it was when you all first opened. As of now, i do not plan to return, even though I have a credit (supposedly) on file there to help with the next possible visit. I am always a fan of local restaurants and this is one of the times that I have an an underwhelming experience which has me considering going to a chain restaurant for my chicken wings. I ASK, what will you do to ensure your customers are going to return time and time again if the food stays sub-par and over priced? read more

Very disappointed tonight. We are regulars and tonight did DoorDash. We paid extra for blue cheese and asked for all wings to be saucy. Our delivery was made on time and at no fault to DoorDash, but the marinara was missing from the cheese curds, 2 of our 6 order wings were short, and zero blue cheese, celery or carrots. When we called to see what can be done, DoorDash was kind to us and gave us a credit, and Sliders asked "what do you want us to do?" Bad form, Sliders. We will be taking an extended break from frequenting your establishment. read more
