I've always been a big fan of L'Industrie, so I wasn't sure another slice shop nearby would impress me-- but Slicehaus definitely did. One of the biggest advantages is that you get an incredible pizza without the long lines. The quality is outstanding. The dough was exactly how I liked it: thin, light, airy and crispy corners. Very tasty. We ordered a whole pepperoni pie with half onion, and it was fantastic. We also tried the vodka pepperoni with fresh mozzarella slice and it was absolutely amazing. The combination of sweet, spicy, and savory flavors was perfectly balanced. The service made the experienced even better. Friendly staff and the guy that took my order even gifted me a bottle of water, which I thought was such a thoughtful gesture. The shop itself is small, with very limited seating area inside, but they do have a few tables outside, which makes it easy to enjoy your pizza if the weather is nice. If you are a pizza aficionado, give this place a chance, is worth it!
Located in arguably the most competitive neighborhood got pizza (John's, Joe's, LIndustrie, Mamas too, fermento) is slicehaus. Outdoor seating. Indoor tables. Clean. Organized Got a plain cheese slice. $4 plus tax even paid in cash. NYC style slice topped with fresh basil and fresh cheese. Crispy thin but overdone. Crust is fully burnt off my slice. Overdone undercarriage. Friendly staff though.
What a slice of pizza. I knew I was in for a treat when the guy in front of me ordered $120 worth of slices. Not kidding. He ordered close to if not more than two dozen slices of pizza. I started laughing as he kept going on and on and on. Fortunately, I only wanted a slice of pepperoni. That would have been unfortunate had I wanted more though because I would have needed to wait as he pretty much cleared out all the pizza they had. I probably waited a little less than 10 minutes total to order and then receive the slice of pepperoni. One bite was all it took for me to taste how special it was. I immediately knew why that guy ordered what he did lmao. Hard to describe the taste because I'm not sure I could do it justice. Dough was a little lighter than some of the other spots so not much chew which I liked. Sauce was solid and the cupped pepperonis worked amazingly with the parm on top. As close to a perfect slice as you'll get. I'll forever be in search of finding a slice as good as this.
Started by a former L'industrie chef, this pizza joint near Bleecker is a gem that most tourists don't know about. The spot is casual with some outdoor seating on a sunny day and minimal indoor seating. When we stopped by, the cashier was so friendly and gave us amazing recs of his pizza selection. We ended up getting a couple different slices, but the most popular was the sausage and shishito. Sauce and toppings were amazing, but I wish they put the pizza in more a bit longer so that it was crispy (a common thought within my group). Amazing nonetheless, and perfect for good pizza (if you don't want to wait in a line).
The pizza was pretty good. People were very nice. I love how they top it with basil and Parmesan. Overall it's not my favorite pizza in nyc but the price for the area is pretty fair considering the quality and flavor.
This place has traditional and Sicilian style lesson. We got the traditional cheese and it was crispy and well seasoned with tomato sauce and had a wonderful tangy aftertaste. Well done!

Cuisine: 8 Service: 7 Decor: 6 Value: 8 Overall: 8 The owner, Augustino, is formerly from L'industrie Pizza and therefore makes a similar type of slice. I thought the crust was fantastic, just the right amount of crispy with a slight chew. Sauce and cheese were flavorful, especially with the shaved Parmesan cheese on top. Best part? No crazy lines. I am a pizza purist and prefer the plain slice or Margherita. However, I must say that their Sausage & Shisito Pepper slice was excellent. Add a bit of the house made chili oil to make it really slap. As for the Porchetta Porcini Sandwich. The bread was excellent, crusty with a soft center. Sadly the meat was a bit dry, but thankfully the flavors were good with the porcini mushrooms shining through. With all the great pizza shops in the neighborhood, this place could possibly become my new favorite. Only time will tell.
Delicious. Affordable. Clean. Great service. One of the best slices in the area. Very tiny inside, with standing tables in the front. Very walkable neighborhood. I would give this 5 stars if there had been a way to recycle the glass bottles that water came in. Otherwise, thumbs up in every way!
We came in here looking for lunch when, up the street, L'Industrie had a massive line we didn't want to wait in. There was no wait here, which was shocking, because the pizza was very very good. I expect this place will start to be packed non-stop in a few months or so. I had the vodka pepperoni and the shishito & sausage slices. The crust was flavorful and crispy, and the sauces and toppings tasted great. I loved all the creative choices and combinations. A nice break from plain pepperoni and cheese. Slices are on the more expensive end (up to $7/slice), but definitely worth it for what you get. Seating inside is limited.
Decent slice. I had the onion and poblano pizza, which had a fluffy crust with some crispiness on the outside, and a mountain of veggies. The sauce is a bit on the sweet side. One slice was around $5 before taxes.
Seriously amazing NY style pizza! Slicehaus had no line when I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and they had a variety of pies to choose from. I got a cheese, 4 cheese, pepperoni and a vodka meatball Sicilian. The slices were large so it was enough to share for two people. After the first bite, I could tell they use high quality ingredients. The sauce wasn't overly sweet, pepperoni crispy and the meatballs were flavorful. The Sicilian square was fluffy and light, not greasy like some other places. What a great addition to the area. I need to try a sandwich next time and more slices!
B-b-b-b-b-bangin'! And they had NA beer options. And they are walking distance from the Christopher St. PATH for us NJ folks. The guy behind the counter was so kind to warn us that the beer was non alcoholic lol I wonder if someone has complained before. The slice we had was amazing and the spot has this cozy edge to it even with the world alive outside. Just a good spot, and we didn't have to wait long to order or get the food.

My last meal of the trip had to circle back to NY pizza. I got the Sausage and Shishito Peppers. Such a great combination that I never tried! I loved the thinness of the pizza, the sausage bits, and the extra cheese that was on top. They have other unique combinations of pizza toppings as well. read more

A pizzeria in the mold of L'Industrie Pizza, which is not necessarily a bad thing because I like L'Industrie Pizza. It is one of my more favorite slices in the city. I really enjoyed the slices I ate here and told who appeared to be the owner this. As I will be a returning customer, I will go over what made it great. The plain slice is beautiful. A nice sauce, a salty cheese, the crust is cooked perfectly, overall this is a great slice that should be replicated time and time again. This is one great slice that you could easily eat two of and be satisfied with the overall result. As I also wanted a white slice to balance out the red, I asked the owner for his suggestion. He suggested the Porcini Mushroom and Truffle. I am happy I took the suggestion. After one bite I knew he was right. The truffle comes through beautifully and the mushrooms add a nice bite to the slice. The overall flavor is solid and like with the plain slice, I could not put this down after one bite. My only gripe is the Sicilian. I got the Pepperoni Sicilian with Burrata and Hot Honey. It is too dense, way too messy, and too cumbersome to eat. It has nice flavors, but compared to the triangles, this is a monster to eat when it should not be. Keep it simple and remove one or two of the toppings. -- The West Village has plenty of solid restaurants, simple eateries, and everything in between. It is even home to the original Joe's Pizza! With that said, this is a great alternative to Joe's after a grueling basketball match in The Cage, win or lose. I think everybody would agree on that. Overall pizza rating: 4.0/5 read more
A lot of people joke that Starbucks is so saturated that you can probably find one on every block. West Village is like that... except with NYC slice joints. This is actually a great thing because after dinner nearby, there's a never-ending list of pizza spots to try for dinner #2, #3, or whatever. Our group went from one pizza spot to another and ended at Slicehaus Pizzeria. After all the walking in between, I was ready for my final bite of the evening. Fortunately, there wasn't a line, so we were able to order quickly. There were also a couple of high-tops available, which was great since we wanted to eat our slices there. PORCINI & TARTUFO SLICE - 7 The servers warmed up my slice and topped it with Parmigiano. Unfortunaely, the mushrooms weren't distributed evenly, so I ended up with multiple bites of what was essentially just cheese pizza. Overall, the slice had a nice earthy and umami flavor, but the crust was a little stale and just wasn't my favorite. I'm glad I got to try Slicehaus, but unfortunately, it wasn't my favorite pizza spot in the neighborhood. I hear their potato & bacon slice is pretty popular, though, so maybe I'll give that a shot if I'm back. read more

Fairly new slice joint on Bleecker, joining the growing cluster of pizzerias in the WV. You can tell there's a strong L'Industrie influence as each slice is finished with some olive oil and shaved Parm. I ordered a plain slice ($4.36) which was solid, but I felt the sauce was too salty and not acidic enough. Coupled with the extra Parm, the slice just felt too heavy. The dough was great-- not too chewy, not too dense, with an excellent toasty undercarriage. I'd be willing to return to try their hot soppressata and Calabrian chili slice. read more

Slicehaus recently opened in the Village on Carmine. This alum team from L'Industrie has come up with a fabulous menu... for my first visit I had the potato/bacon slice topped with fresh parm and basil. The potatoes are tender and delicious, with a perfect bacon combo... doesn't feel heavy (small wish: that the toppings were also present closer to the crust... but those first few bites were incredible). I really wanted to taste another slice, but decided to wait until my next visit. It doesn't have the crazy lines yet, but I expect that will change (granted I visited lunch time midweek... there is almost always a line at L'Industrie). I won't pick a fave between this slice or my fave option at L'Industrie which is bacon/fig or burrata. But I do look forward to trying other slices here including the sausage/shishito peppers, plain, pep, meatball, etc. and their sandwiches. It's worth the long walk from my apartment to both places... wish we had slices like these in my neighborhood!! Potato/ bacon slice $6.50 plus tax = $7.08 read more

I made the walk out earlier this afternoon for my first visit to Slice haus pizzeria on carmine street!. I had the sopressata hot honey and onions and peppers. I was indecisive whether I was gonna go for a third which was gonna be the shishito (sometimes spicy!!). I couldn't try all the best sellers unfortunately but I still left happy at the end of the day!!. read more
Pizza in the West Village! The one thing I've learned about the West Village is that a top tier pizza slice is always gonna be nearby. I work really close to this spot, walked past it the day they opened, and unassumingly went in for a post-work treat. The slice that made me fall in love was their Sicilian slice topped with soppresata, hot honey, fresh basil, and freshly grated parm; flavorful on top, and great texture on the crust -- it's got that crispy bottom And a nice chew (and their Sicilian slices are Fat). Been a few more times since then and the quality has held up every single time! Space is small with a few stools against the wall so definitely a grab and go spot. Slices are prepped to order but still come out timely. It feels silly to have yet Another great slice shop in the area, but I will gladly be back again. read more

100% recommend visiting this spot. Pizza was delicious and the staff was very welcoming and helpful. Our favorite was the vodka pesto. Swimming in sauce and crust was perfectly chewy. Crisp bottom fluffy center. read more

Slicehaus is a must try when in the area. Definitely upscale, it's no $2 slice, but you get what you pay for. All slices are served with fresh olive oil and Parmesan- 10/10! You can also add your own toppings at the counter. I went midday and there was no line, we waited less than 10 minutes after walking in the door. Seating is very limited so I would not go in expecting a reprieve from city walking, but there was a park nearby that we stopped at. I went with a basic pepperoni slice and it was great! It had a thin crust, crispy bottom, and PLENTY!! of pepperoni. I also grabbed a bottled Coke which made for the perfect combination. Together this was about 10 bucks which feels realistic considering the area and quality of food. Definitely check it out! read more

Slicehaus is sofa king good! So the special square slice of the day was vodka meatball. I ordered the vodka meatball square and the regular potato bacon slice everyone is raving about. I'll start with the vodka meatball square. The toppings were fresh and delicious but the dough was too thick for me. The regular potato bacon slice was perfection. Beautifully fermented dough with just the right amount of chew and char. Crisp bits of bacon. Smooth thinly sliced potato and the torn fresh basil. I'm in. I eat a lot of pizza and I'll be back. read more

Another great slice shop in the WV - I guess there can never be enough and this one might be a new favorite. Love the creativity of the toppings and how they don't overpower the classic slice. We were given an extra slice of the soppressata bc he said the first slice he got for us was "too small." What a deal! Amazing service. New pizza shop run by a master pizzaiolo with experience from L'Industrie a few blocks away. Slices are perfect NY style with airy thin crust serving up excellent sauce and cheese. There are a variety of toppings available, as well as Sicilian style square pizza. Tried the sausage with shishito (red) as well as the ham and corn (white). Both were fantastic. Service was quick and friendly. Prices were reasonable. There are a handful of spots to sit inside and some places to stand and grab a bite outside. There are hot chili oil, red pepper flakes, and other seasonings you can add on the side after you receive your slice. Will definitely come back to try some of the other pizzas. Highly recommend. read more

Was intending to grab pizza at the next door place on Monday but it was closed for the night. Pizza looked nice at Slicehaus so gave it a try instead. Ordered a fresh small sausage. Great thin crispy crust with air bubbles and a little char. Tasty sauce, nice amount of melted creamy cheese, delicious chunks of sausage. Very good, reminded me a bit of Pepe's from New Haven. I was back again Saturday for a couple plain slices! They also have Stillers Sugar-free Shirley Temple soda! Owner Alex and staff super friendly! read more
