Hello, I am a rising senior in the High School graduating class of 2023. I have gone through the trials and tribulations of awful pizza in my life, from primary school and elementary schools square shaped pizza that would break in half if you smacked them on a table to the triangle pizzas in middle and high school which taste more life frozen stale bread that's been baked and covered with the cheapest mozzarella you can find that's gone bad and been melted. But this, this is by far the worst pizza I've ever had in my entire exactly 6,300 days of living on this god forsaken planet, in this god forsaken country. The crust seemed like it was cooked separately from the cheese and the sauce. And had the consistency and floppiness of a crepe that's too thick. But then it tasted like a screwed up version of one of those things they give you at church alongside the wine. Pretty much, it was horrendous. The sauce honestly wasn't awful, it was like basic canned tomato sauce, but then the cheese was awful as well. It's consistency was off putting at best and it really had no sort of flavor or anything. We got a sausage onion pizza and the onions were not bad. They were caramelized and probably my favorite part of this eating experience. But then there was the sausage. It was these little balls that looked like baby deer turds scattered all over the pizza. And the tasted like it too. Pretty much, you're better off ordering a pizza box full of caramelized onions or hell, you're better licking bird shit off a pier somewhere. NEVER waste your money in this pizza. Also it is SOOOO overpriced. $70 for 2 pies, one with 2 topping and one with 3. read more

This place was a quick and easy place to grab a slice of pizza. It was a bit greasy, but it's pizza. It was ok. I definitely didn't go back as there are many restaurants around the area. If you are in a hurry and want something quick, you can grab a bite here or there's a snack shack close by. read more

This place absolutely sucked, when I was handed the boxes of pizza I felt like someone had just placed a 45 pound dumbbell in my arms, so it was no surprise when I opened the box and there was 45 pounds of cheese not only on the pizza, but also caked to the top of the pizza box. With just one bite, the cheese will toss you into cardiac arrest. When i tell u my dog eats anything I put in front of him, I mean it or so I thought up until today. Not to mention, I worked a 40 hour work week, and left my entire pay check on the counter for four $30 pizzas. Currently writing this while working overtime to make the $120 I just wasted on garbage pizza back. I had the pleasure of getting a few slices fresh out of the oven. Solid customer service to start. I took one bite of the pizza and was immediately transported to a Sam's Club food court. It tastes eerily familiar to what you'd find there at 3x the price. It's painfully obvious that they are using the cheapest ingredients humanely possible in order to widen the margin on those ~$4 slices. I guess prime real estate comes at a steep cost around here. For Barstool fans, I'd peg this in the upper 2s/lower 3s on a 10 point scale. This is solidly bad pizza. Can't see the kitchen; that should have been a warning sign. Also, cash only, which is a pain, but not unusual on the island. But the biggest problem of course was the pizza. Not good. The sauce is under seasoned (if it's seasoned at all) and the only flavors were a very vague tomato sweetness, and a slight (very slight) heat from the pepperoni. Cheese was congealed and of no real interest. It's probably fine for kids, or if you're drunk. Honestly I've had frozen pizza that I liked more. I rarely go out for pizza on the island, but sometimes it seems like a nice change of pace. S of E describes itself as New York-style pizza, but it certainly isn't, unless by "NY style" you mean "Domino's style." You know the kind of pizza that has gobs of rubbery cheese on it that comes off when you take a bite, thus leaving behind a doughy, gummy, cheeseless glop? Do you like that kind? Neither do I. Way too much cheese, barely noticeable tomato sauce, unpleasantly chewy crust. I always eat my crust, but not on this bad boy. Oh, and I overheard that they were running 90 minutes on whole pies after I got my order. Little kids might like it, or people desperate to have a night off from seafood, but I don't see how anyone else could. Got three pies (two cheese and one pepperoni) here last night and my stomach still hurts. They claim to have "Authentic NY style" pizza and that should have been warning enough...rarely does an advertisement like that get backed up. The pizza is most likely from frozen, as I don't see an oven in sight. They prepare them in back, which I don't think there is one pizza place in the actual state of NY that hides their pizza making process. To the pies: the best comparison would be to bowling alley pizza. The dark burn spots on top of the cheese, the precut slices, lack of any real flavor. My family and I looked around at each other as we ate and knew instantly that this pizza was garbage. Nearly 18 hours later, 4 out of 8 of us still have stomach aches. Never will I get pizza from this place again. I'd rather skip a meal. Great location close to the town docks, though. read more

Our takeout order from Slice of Edgartown Pizza, a hole in the wall business with no indoor seating & Kitchen unseen, was so disappointing. Not one good thing to say about order. Paid $29.00 for large cheese pizza with some red peppers (wanted green - not available), loaded with way too much cheese and barely any pizza sauce. Pizza visually unappealing while sprinkling hot pepper over it. Flavor bland & tasteless. Took off gobs of cheese on 2 slices that were only picked at, equaling about 1/2 cup of wasted cheese and could not eat all crust due to being undercooked. Dough tasted partly raw. Didn't realize all this until returning to our Inn to dine. Possibly oven not hot enough or pizza not allowed enough time to cook thoroughly. We tossed half a pizza into trash bin. Should have returned next day to complain, but did not. Other guests seated outdoor near us on patio at Inn noticed us dining on pizza, and thought it was a good idea for a change in a place you typically order seafood. They inquired if pizza was good, and we could not in all honesty recommend Slice of Edgartown Pizza to them. We did take time before chosing them, reading through mostly good reviews, and added plus for us was they were located within walking distance, but everyone's individual tastes and expectations are different. Will skip over them next time we're in Edgartown hungry for a pizza. read more

I am so excited to finally have GOOD pizza in Edgartown. My family just returned from our two week stay at the Harbor View, and we got both slices and pies at Slice of Edg. at least 4 times. Every time, the pizza was delicious and the service was great. It was very busy over the 4th of July (to be expected when the parade and fireworks go off right outside their doorstep), so the wait was obviously long that night, but aside from that, I've never had to wait. So convenient to call in an order and literally do a "drive-by" of the window to grab it. Cute brick patio area with a few tables, right in the heart of downtown... give it a try, you will be glad you did. read more
