We had our second son and had hired Callie to support us through the sleep teaching/training of our first son three years ago. We were toying around with the idea of hiring Callie for our second child, and she took a last minute phone call, and answered all of my questions for my second without charge. She got into the specifics of my second son very quickly and provided direction for how to adapt sleep teaching for him given his needs. I know if the training doesn't go as planned, she will be there for us and if it does go well, we have her to thank! read more

Callie has helped me gain confidence when it comes to getting both of my children on the right path with sleep from the get go! She has affirmed what I'm comfortable with as far as "sleep training" and been such an encouragement through the tougher sleepless weeks. She truly feels like a part of our family. Her advice and consistency through newborn/toddler sleep struggles in my mind makes her the single most important piece to the functioning of our family, as everyone knows sleep is paramount! Thank you thank you thank you Callie, we love you! read more

In many new mom phases, I was left unsure of how to handle certain situations when it came to caring for myself and my babies. I had the privilege of working with Callie very closely leading up to the birth of my second child and she helped me set real expectations (basically don't have any) about my growing family. She provided detailed support, not something you'd find from a generic article. She asks questions to understand the babies needs and is careful not to overlook the mother. She helped me manage sleep regressions and I would consider her an expert in the field. Highly highly recommend working with her if you get the chance! read more

Callie has been a DREAM to work with! I hired Callie for my first and now second child. Both very high needs babies with a complete inability to sleep on their own. For my first child I needed much more emotional support on top of schedule recommendations, reassuring me when I needed it, interpreting issues when they arose, etc. she was incredible through all of it. I would not have the almost 3 yr old that sleeps like a dream without her. You might wonder why someone would need a sleep trainer for not one but two kids. Well, when people say each baby is different they mean it. Different babies, different challenges, same issue. My second child needed a different approach and schedule than my first. I would not have understood this with my second if it wasn't for Callie. Now 5 months in #2 is sleeping so much better bc I'm able to give a schedule that's customized for her vs one found on the internet or in a moms group. If I would follow the advice of other moms we would still be struggling with sleep. And in a world of covid and no babysitters, family, or nanny, we need all the sleep we can get. Callie is worth her weight in gold. The path to sleep is not linear, nor is anything with our kiddos. But if you're exhausted while reading this and wanting to reach out for sleep help - REACH OUT! Callie is so knowledgeable, helpful, compassionate and just an awesome human being. read more

I've been working with Callie for about 1.5 years at various stages of my child's development. During each stage, Callie was able to help our family develop a sleep plan and process that got us the desired results. She answered my questions and eased my fears around the impact that sleep training might have. And she was right! Our child was not traumatized and, in fact, we're all so much happier now! Our child sleeps earlier and sleeps through the night, and it's meant that my husband and I can finally get a little bit of time to ourselves and not go through 1 to 2 hours of feeling hostages to getting our child to fall asleep. Callie's help has made such a difference, and we wouldn't be here without her. Callie was responsive and even proactive in checking in on how things are going. She made suggestions to adjust our approach when the method we had selected wasn't working. I so appreciated her caring approach. I can't recommend her enough! read more

We regret hiring Callie as our sleep consultant, as she not only was unable to help us get our son to sleep better, but we also felt the level of service, especially with regards to her communication and program structure were not satisfactory. Even if Callie was able to assist us with our son's sleep, I would not recommend her because of her style and approach. We engaged Callie when our son was 6.5 months old. Before we started our work with Callie, we had done about a week of sleep training on our own, but were not making progress. I'm sorry to say that our work with Callie did not result in better sleep. About three months after we stopped working with Callie, we hired another sleep consultant and the difference was significant. Within three nights of working with her, our son began to sleep through the night, take consistent naps and we felt supported throughout the process. The sleep plan we received from Callie was an 11 page narrative document with eight additional attachments that I wasn't sure what to do with. Another reviewer commented that they felt the sleep plan they received was a bit generic, and I agree. Ours had a date from a couple months prior on it and with the exception of a paragraph where Callie summarized the questionnaire we filled out, the text felt overly copy and pasted. A concrete list of action steps was not included in the plan; rather, the sleep plan was woven throughout the 11 page narrative. The plan provided guidance on how to do the "interval cry-it-out method." About a week into our work with Callie, she recommended to switch our approach because our son was still fighting the training. However, we received no resources or documentation around the new approach other than verbal communication about what we should do. This brings me to the next challenge we had with Callie: communication. For our intake call, she got the time wrong and called me a half hour early. We were always mindful to text Callie during normal hours, but her response time to our outreach varied. Usually, we'd receive a response within 24 hours (the parameters for response time she promotes), but on two occasions it took her days to respond, with little acknowledgement of the response lag. As for phone calls, Callie's program does not have set phone calls set-up throughout the engagement, rather it was up to me to request the phone calls, which I did and Callie made herself available. I echo the statements of another reviewer: she was on the go and, frankly, distracted during our conversation. Additionally, she clearly had not reviewed our information before speaking and I would spend part of the call summarizing where we were and other info about our son. Another thing I found confusing, was that it wasn't articulated when our month with Callie started or expired. Since we were still having significant sleep issues with our son, I believe Callie worked with us a week longer than the month, which was appreciated. However, during what ended up being my last communication with Callie, it was by no means clear that we were done working together. While I wasn't sure what to expect, I assumed there would be some form of communication saying our time together (based on the package we purchased) was coming to an end. Instead, communication suddenly stopped with no close out or review of tools for us moving forward. I found this to be unprofessional and disappointing, especially given her cost. Needless to say, our experience with Sleepless in SF was very disappointing and left us still struggling with sleep. Thankfully, the second sleep consultant was able to get our son to sleep within three nights, and I do not believe this was due to any groundwork laid by Sleepless in SF. While the second consultant was remote support, like Callie, she had a better structure for communicating with and supporting her clients and her plan was exceptionally detailed, thorough and personalized. We regret hiring Callie and I would not recommend her. Updated response to Callie: Hi Callie, I appreciate you sending the note below. With that said, I believe that my review is an accurate and fair depiction of our work together. Additionally, the delay in my response to your email was driven by (1.) the holidays (it's been less than a week since you emailed me) and (2.) the fact that we initially sought your services to relieve stress and anxiety, not add to it. While your Yelp response mentioned the possibility of refunds, this was never raised with us, either while we were working with you, or in your email. Regardless, at this point, we would just like to move on. I certainly wish you the best, but I will not be changing my Yelp review. Best, Elizabeth read more

Working with Callie to "sleep coach" our 5-month-old daughter was one of the best parenting decisions I've made (I'm only a few months in, but still). I highly recommend her services and think her prices are fair (and worth every penny). Our story: At around 3 months old our daughter went from sleeping 3-4 hour stretches at night to waking up every other hour. We started using a pacifier, which quickly became a crutch. She was only napping for 30-40 minutes at a time and I spent most of my day trying to get her to go back to sleep. Enter Callie. After a 15-minute phone consult, it was clear that she would provide guidance and help us navigate the sleep issues. She had us log our daughter's sleep over a few days and then came up with an extensive plan to get her to sleep better: to fall asleep independently and be able to connect her "sleep cycles." She sent over the plan (it was an incredible 8-page document) with a lot of other helpful articles and resources. We decided to do an interval method of sleep coaching that had us going into our daughter's room to soothe her when she'd cry. Our daughter did very well with this method and we never experienced more than 30 minutes of crying - a few nights in, the crying subsided to fussing, and only for a few minutes at bedtime. We moved on to naps and saw similar success - our daughter was napping for 50 min - 1.5 hours after a few days of "nap training" with Callie. I think your success rate will depend largely on the personality of your child, but Callie will customize the plan to fit your baby's needs. The best part of working with Callie was her unlimited texts / phone calls - it seriously kept me sane and made me feel so much more confident about what we were doing throughout the process. We'd literally text Callie before, during, and after nap times and while our daughter was falling asleep at night. Callie responded quickly (ninja fast!) and would guide us through the situation, answer any questions we had, and send messages of encouragement. Our goal wasn't to "sleep through the night" as I was still breastfeeding a few times in the evenings, but now after a month of sleep coaching my daughter has dropped one of the night feeds on her own and generally sleeps well every night. I'm also armed with a ton of information on how to navigate sleep regressions that we'll face in the future due to teething, sickness, growth spurts, etc! read more

Callie was a godsend in helping our daughter sleep! She gave us the guidance we needed in tweaking our daughter's schedule, reassuring us when we were on the right track, and has always been there for us when we needed her. She has a deep knowledge and expertise in helping families get through sleep hurdles, and her experience clearly shows. Thank you so much for all your help!! read more

Callie is literally my life saver. My little girl wasn't sleeping through the night. Wasn't going down at night and wasn't taking naps. Callie saved me! With a few tweaks to her schedule and some awesome insight and techniques my little girl falls asleep faster, with fewer meltdowns, less tears and bedtime is enjoyable. Callie even gave us tools to keep co-sleeping. I thought I could never find a sleep coach to help us continue co-sleeping. I'm forever grateful to Callie. She even does periodic check-ins just to see how we're doing! I'm so glad we found her!! read more

We hired Callie when our daughter was 10 months old. At this time, our daughter was waking up multiple times during the night. We were sleep deprived, exhausted. I was breastfeeding on demand... in the end it was all the time. Now, our daughter sleeps AND eats much better. It's a life changing for us ! So yes, we definitely recommend Callie ! read more

I worked with Callie to develop a sleep plan and sleep training strategies for my baby when he was 4 months old and then later when he was 7.5 months old. I am grateful for her recommendations, especially the part about the naps and schedule. However, I didn't like the communication process and I was also disappointed with the sleep training strategies she suggested. In particular, for some reason both times that I spoke to Callie over phone, she was on the go, and I felt really uncomfortable about that because I wasn't sure that she could pay full attention to what I was talking about. Next, we agreed to postpone the start of curated sleep training because we were traveling. When I finally was ready to start it, I wrote an email to Callie but she never responded. In terms of the sleep plan, while it indeed provided helpful guidelines on how to properly schedule naps and bedtime, sleep training instructions were pretty generic, you can find them in any book. Anyway, for us sleep training didn't go well (and as I said, we ended up not being curated and getting feedback). I truly believe that Callie helped many kids and their families, but I just wanted to make sure you get a full picture reading Yelp reviews. Thanks! read more

I couldn't recommend Callie enough!!! She helped us transition our cosleeping toddler to her own big girl bed over the course of a few weeks. She was there every step of the way, from a detailed plan that I could follow, to texting me on the spot when I had no idea what to do. Additionally she's followed up with me and has given me some great pointers and advice for my second child. Her expertise is so valuable to me. She respects all different styles of parenting. Do not hesitate to hire Callie! Everyone in your household will be sleeping soundly in no time! read more

WOW. I could not have imagined the sleep my baby and I would be getting now. When I first reached out to Callie, I had hit a wall with my 8 month old who became dependent on nursing to sleep, throughout the night, every 2 hours or so. Callie supported my slow and gentle "training" ambitions and was always there when I had questions. Baby was so ready to sleep on his own that maybe there were minutes of crying over a month. Painless for both of us. Now at 11 months, my son takes 2 hour plus naps a day and sleeps 11 solid hours at night. I highly recommend working with Callie and would pay 10x her fee. If we go for baby #2 I am much less intimated by the sleep loss as I know Callie will be there to get us on track. read more

Our baby boy Jack has been an awesome sleeper since he was 6 months old. We did a brief cry it out sleep training which took immediately. We could drop him in the crib, have him sleep all through the night and then up by 6am. It was amazing. At 18 months every thing changed. Putting Jack to bed was a 1-2 hour process with multiple wakes up at night and then up for the day at 4am. Our household was destroyed. We did try cry it out but it didn't work and we didn't know what a sleep consultant could do for us. I almost canceled our appt due to exhaustion but figured it wouldn't hurt. We did a FaceTime and learned that there are options other than cry it out. And for Jack's age, cry it out isn't as effective. Callie came up with a plan and we were back on track within a week. We texted with Callie daily and she supported us and cheered us on. My husband and I often say it was money well spent. A few months later, after some travel, Jack hit another regression at 21 months. We waited 2 weeks and then contacted Callie for help. She gave us a tune up deal and after a few days, we were back on track again. Sleep is the key to a happy household and Callie is our go to. We first heard of Callie through mom groups and are so happy to have worked with her. I was surprised to learn that many families aren't aware of this kind of support. If you are struggling with sleep, give Callie a call. We feel so confident that Callie can always guide Jack back to happy sleeping. read more

Callie was my sleep consultant when my 2 year old hit a big sleep regression. She gave me the tools and confidence I needed to make some changes in his schedule and he's been sleeping so well ever since. Highly recommend her! read more

Callie is simply amazing. I have referred her to many people, but since giving out her number to a friend just tonight, I realized that I never wrote a review! We were having a really tough time with our 9 month old Just. Not. Staying. Asleep. I mean waking up every 90-120 minutes. I was starting to lose my everloving mind, and found Callie on an online mom's group. I called her SO quickly and we chat for about 15 minutes on the phone, and just from the quick conversation we had, I knew that she would have good advice for me. I opted for the phone/email/text package, not the in-home package, because I did not think we really needed it. Everything was really straightforward, going over daily logs, daily schedule, sleep habits etc. She got back to me with a detailed sleep plan, which included getting him into his own room. With some back-and-forth, we got our baby to sleep! He has slept like a champ ever since, and I can not recommend Callie enough. Our son is now too, and I know that children go through many sleep ups and downs when they are young, so I know it's nice that I could always rehire her for any issues in the future, although I don't see any yet! Give her a call today. And get some SLEEP. read more

Callie listens to you, creates a plan, and then holds your hand while you exucute the steps. She trouble shoots along the way. Callie is my go-to for all things kiddie sleep. She helped our family when we were in a sleep hole so deep my husband was having trouble with basic tasks (he couldn't figure out how to turn on our garden hose...that's when I knew we were desperate). Don't let your situation get to desperation, if you are on the fence about contacting Callie for sleep help, don't be. Email her, set up a consult. I never hesitate to recommend Callie. She knows her stuff, she won't judge, she will only find solutions. A mom herself, she is down to Earth and very "real" which is relatable. If you are reading this, it's probably because you are tired, your kid won't nap, or you don't have time to read a sleep book. Callie is an expert, hire her :) read more

Callie helped us with our 12 month old who would wake multiple times per night. We could only get her back to sleep by holding and rocking. She made a plan that we were all comfortable with, and was not too drastic for us. By the end of the second week we were not having any more night wakings and our daughter was falling asleep independently. I highly recommend her for any baby/toddler sleep issues. read more

I just used Callie again with my second child and she was as comforting, calm, cool and collected as ever. I didn't need the full level of support I needed with my first, but having her around for a "tune up" was super helpful. I needed some reminders about what's normal for infants! This review is certainly way overdue, but I never found the time to actually do it as I am in constant state of sleep deprivation. Anyway, it's an honest review and I hope will help a few first time moms that might be struggling and thinking of hiring a consultant. First the good: Callie was very engaged in our first conversation, and I had huge hopes that the sleep training program will be individualized and it will work. Also, Callie was very responsive to texts and always provided a response throughout the program. She also worked with us a week or so longer than the scheduled month as we had no big breakthroughs for the month, which was appreciated. Now the reasons why I gave this 2 stars: First, the written individualized plan wasn't individualized at all. Other than the summary of how/where my son currently sleeps, everything else felt generic. Even my name on the plan was different, which honestly made me think it's a template that just gets updated for each client. It's probably my fault I didn't say anything right away or ignored the red flag and proceeded with the experience. Second, the plan itself is just a slightly modified Ferber method which you can do yourself without a "sleep consultant" telling you to do it. I was very much against "cry it out" methods, and somehow I thought this will be different. Well, it wasn't. While Callie was great at responding, her responses did not actually help - everything seemed to be "normal" and "developmental" and "according to plan" but a month later my son was still crying a lot at bed time and started even hating his bedtime routine in anticipation of what's coming. This cause a lot more stress for me and my family. For us it did not work, we did not learn anything new, it was a waste of money and caused additional stress. So now that time has passed I have learned this - if you find a consultant that can really help you work with your individual child's needs without causing stress, go for it. But any consultant that will just tell you to let your baby cry - well, you can do that yourself. read more

Our family started working with Callie when our baby was 8 months old. I couldn't have dreamed she could make as much progress as she did on night sleep and naps in one month. All of our lives are so much better. read more

Probably the best decision we have made in our brief 16 month tenure as parents was to call Callie. Callie has been an ideal partner for us. She assured both of us that we were doing the right things as parents, but needed a little push to help our 9-month old sleep regularly through the night. Callie understood the sensitivities, explained her philosophy and helped us execute on our sleep plan. It wasn't easy for us emotionally. Callie made herself available at all hours. She has not only been our reliable sleep coach, she's also given us the confidence to feel good about our decisions as we are expecting a new baby this fall. Callie is soft, loving, kind, and tender. She's tough when she needs to be. She's much more than just a person on the end of the phone. It feels as if she's a part of our family and we hope others do too. We both recommend her based on our experience with our children and knowing who she is as a person. AWESOME! read more

I found Callie when my daughter was 4 months old and going through the 4 month sleep regression. Callie was available to me the same day for a 15 min chat and I knew right away that I wanted to work with her. She created a very detailed sleep plan and then we worked with each other for over a month with setting up a good sleep schedule/plan and Callie also helped us sleep train her at 5 months. It went very smoothly and now we have a well rested family thanks to her work. She always made me feel confident and she was very patient with my questions. I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to work with her and I'm even more thankful that my baby is an amazing sleeper. read more

Callie is just excellent. From the intake process to our in-person appointment to the daily text support, everything has been efficient and attuned with a high degree of competence. She is realistic, will tell you what to expect and what may be wishful parental thinking but not realistic. My favorite part - the in-the-moment text support. As much as we'd like to work within a plan, any given nap, day, or night can be different based on what's going on with a baby. The ability to text her in the moment and get a very thoughtful and decisive response was priceless. Here are her outcomes with us: Nights: We went from a baby who didn't know how to fall or stay asleep on his own, and woke up every hour starting at 2am and needed to be held to get any sleep, to a baby who babbles himself to sleep, sleeps for 11 hours straight, and wakes up happy and well-rested. Days: We went from a baby who took 30 minute naps and seemed tired almost all the time, to one who falls asleep on his own, takes 1-2 hour naps when he needs them, and is beginning to show a schedule. Mindset: I learned to reframe my mindset from sleep-training being something we were doing 'to' him to something we were doing 'for' him. I learned to tell the difference between I'm-learning-something-crying to something-is-wrong-crying. And, I learned that my baby can do a lot more and is ready for more than I was giving him credit for. Thanks, Callie. We'll be calling you for our next child! read more

Callie is incredible. Our 4 month old had badly regressed with sleep, and we were spending hours and hours getting the baby to go to sleep each day, and not sleeping enough at night -- and our baby was not getting great sleep. Several people had recommended Callie and thank goodness we called her! She calmed our first-time-parent nerves about sleep training, helped us customize a plan for our baby, cheered us on and coached us via text and phone for the next month, and answered a zillion questions we had about all things sleep. From literally the very first night we followed her recommendations, everyone slept so much better and longer, including our baby! We are and were so grateful for Callie. read more

Unbelievable. Our almost 3 year old was never a good sleeper. Starting with colic and food intolerance, very fixated on mom to just being a very energetic kid who doesnt want to go to bed. We tried some form of cry it out when he was 7 months, we tried many other sleep techniques as time progressed but nothing worked. At almost 3 years old he was still waking every 2-3 hours and wanted...something:water, his blanket, binkie, toy, it was a never ending story. Callie helped us create a schedule for him, involve the dad in the night routine and gave advice on how to respond when he wakes up at night. We worked with her for a month and we definitely needed that month, but the outcome is literally unbelievable. He goes to bed pretty easily and for the most part he sleeps through the night. I would definitely recommend her. read more

Callie is amazing!! She saved our sanity. Our 14 month old was not sleeping through the night (waking multiple times a night) and waking between 3:30-4:30am every day for the day. He also would scream if anyone except his dad put him down for naps or bedtime. We tried sleep training on our own- we thought we had the tools since we previously had a sleep trainer for our toddler. The lack of consistent sleep was wearing us down and having his dad do the sleep routine every day was not sustainable so we reached out to Callie and we are so glad we did. She worked with us to develop a plan, had a FaceTime intake call, and was readily available by text whenever we had questions or wanted assurance. The first couple of nights were tough but it got better very soon. I could have cried the first time I put him down easily. Callie takes the guesswork out of sleep training- if something didn't work out totally to plan (he napped less than usual, woke up late etc), we could just text Callie and she would tell us the right thing to do. If your child is struggling to sleep, hire Callie. You won't regret it- a full night's sleep for you and your little one is around the corner! read more

In short, Callie saved our sanity. We debated quite a bit about if we needed a sleep consultant to help get our son sleeping through the night at 8 months, and eventually decided to go with it. So glad we did! She gave us a very extensive plan that was tailored to our parenting style and it worked like charm. Our son now sleeps 11-12 hours without any night wakings or negative sleep associations and it was all done without cry it out. She still helps me months later when I have a sleep question. I wouldn't hesitate to hire her again. read more

Callie is absolutely THE BEST sleep consultant! She is kind, diligent, knowledgeable and attentive. Her extensive experience and effective approach make her desirable. She is THE REASON our 6 month old baby girl sleeps through the night (6pm-6 am) and takes solid naps throughout the day. Callie created a personalized sleep plan and spent our meeting gently explaining the how's and what's. She was truthful to her word that she would be available for support after implementing the sleep plan. She went above and beyond for us and our baby. I don't know how we got so lucky as to find her. She is truly a gem. I would use her services again and again and recommend her to anyone that doesn't want to use the cry-it-out method. Look no further-you've found your sleep consultant. read more

We hired Callie to help us with our toddlers sleep situation and she really came through for us. Callie empowered us with real tools to get our toddler to sleep thru the night. She was very responsive and gave us advise on the go via text as and when we needed - when things don't go as planned. This was very very helpful! She was also very easy to work with and totally tailored her plan for our child keeping in mind our families parenting philosophy. She is very respectful of the instinctual bond parents share with their kids and never pushes you to do anything you are not comfortable doing. We would highly recommend Callie! read more

Callie is hands-down one of the most important partners and resources that we've had during the first seven months of our baby's life! Callie came highly recommended by one of our trusted neighbors, and we began working with her when my son was close to 4 months old. Before Callie, getting him down for the night was at least an hour-long ordeal, naps were erratic, and we often spent more time trying to get him to nap or sleep than he actually spent sleeping. He was getting far less aggregate sleep than pediatricians recommend. Callie helped us create a detailed and clear sleep plan that our whole family followed, establishing good habits and gradually weaning us off sleep crutches and constricting sleep associations. When we were ready to sleep train, she helped us develop a program that was right for us, and we saw significant results immediately. Poor infant sleep is incredibly stressful and taxing on new parents, and Callie was super responsive and encouraging throughout the entire process. Callie spent a lot of time with us explaining the rationale for her guidelines, and also outlined what we can expect in the months to come as our son goes through developmental sleep regressions, begins teething, consolidates naps, etc. As a result, I feel like we've built a solid foundation and learned an important toolkit that we can apply whenever our son's sleep gets rough. Perhaps most importantly, she really understands the art of baby sleep, not just the science, and she was quick to adapt and shape her advice based on how our son was responding, always keeping his happiness and health as first priority. She was also an unexpectedly wonderful treasure trove of great advice beyond sleep, helping us to navigate things like encouraging my son to take the bottle when I headed back to work, how to introduce solids into his diet, etc. Today, our 7-month old goes down happily for bed each night and blissfully sleeps the entire way through the night. He takes the bottle consistently and is even starting to love his solids. Partnering with Callie was one of the best decisions we've made to date. Thank you, Callie!! read more

We loved working with Callie! She was patient, understanding, and held us accountable to our plan. I felt like she really listened and clearly understood what we were going through. We found it immensely helpful to have someone understand our child's temperament and schedule and then come up with a plan. There is so much information out there and it was valuable to have someone decipher that for us. She is quick at responding over email/text and we felt fully support. Most importantly, IT WORKED! read more

After working with Callie, we have a complete new sleeper! She's not the best sleeper, but we definitely are getting more hours of sleep! Callie was reassuring and made sure to include a detailed sleep plan with examples and helpful tips on how to easily navigate the sleep training process-- doesn't mean I wasn't constantly texting or scheduling phone calls with her to confirm all was headed in the right direction :) but the plan is great to reference too. Callie is a miracle worker. My daughter was a terrible sleeper and napper from about two months on. We had a comprehensive consultation call with Callie before the 4 month milestone to discuss sleep training and setting good habits. Callie worked with us daily for months, tweaking the protocol until we had a baby who could put herself to sleep (hallelujah!) and stay that way... for hours! She still helps me with transitions and questions. Callie is thorough, patient, sensitive & so knowledgeable. Beyond just sleep advice. I have recommended her to everyone I know... right after birth! read more

Callie is as good as it gets! I am a first time mom and anxious about things. She is calm and patient and gives you daily support. It's nice to work with someone that is knowledge on the topic of sleep and is also a mother. We quickly got my toddler to take longer naps. I didn't need help with night-time sleep but my toddler took "cat-naps" and they weren't restorative. With Callie's guidance, we quickly turned things around and my 12-month old began taking 45+ minute naps (twice a day). I just wish that I had reached out sooner. read more

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Callie Epstein Stemerman. She is an absolute angel! My 5 month old son was literally not sleeping after we came back from a long trip to Argentina. He was waking every hour or so and would only sleep if nursed or held. It was 2 weeks of NO SLEEP at all until I met Callie. She talked to me on the phone, then I met her in a class she held at Day One and loved the class and her. After that she coached my husband and I for an entire week over the phone and helped us get on track. After just one week of training my son is sleeping through the night, falling asleep on his own, and waking up only once to eat and going right back to sleep. And on top of that, my husband and I gained a lot of confidence that we were supporting positive sleep habits for our son. She was unconditional, even on weekends. She responded to every single question I had (and boy did I have questions!) She even gave me moral support when I thought I was loosing my mind! Now everyone in our house can get the rest we need and we are all happy the next morning. Thank you so much Callie, you have been amazing and we hope to have you in our lives as we set off in this new life as parents!! read more

Callie has helped us with sleep advice various times over the first year of our baby's life. From a brutal 4+ month sleep regression to persistent (painful!) early morning wake-ups from months 8-10, she supported us repeatedly. Having a solid plan was the key - it meant we knew what to do, and my husband and I could react in a similar and consistent fashion rather than panic and swing between different strategies. Her ongoing support and check ins were always reassuring and helped us stay sane, knowing that whatever our son was doing would ultimately resolve. She provided really helpful sample schedules, so we could see what was age appropriate for nap and awake times, and those have continued to be useful references. In addition, she also gave us tips on better/less combative bedtimes for our older child, which has reduced the friction with our pre-schooler. I feel lucky knowing she is available as a resource to our family as our children get older and go through different stages. Thank you Callie! read more
