Warning! Stay far, far away from this place! This place was recommended by my physician (don't…read moreworry - I've warned her to stop sending people here!), and it has been an absolute nightmare of an experience. Communication is absolutely horrendous. They use a call center to route all of their calls even during business hours so it is rare and difficult to reach a human at the actual office. You have the option to communicate via text but don't bother because no one responds. There's an online patient portal that can be used for messages as well. That's probably your best bet but it's still dicey. CPAP supplies are impossible. Laura is nice but she is only 1 person. With only 1 point person for CPAP supplies, getting to them or having any help managing supply reorders is purely luck based. They send out a mass email soliciting orders for resupply but no one ever seems to actually do anything with the responses? To try and make your supply ordering easier, they will offer to outsource you to another vendor for supplies. You will happily take them up on it. That will not actually be handled, and you'll be right back in the same cycle of insanity with TSM. Your video appointments will start with a "medical assistant" reading from scripted questions, not listening to understand your response, and then you'll see the "doctor" who will ask the same questions. If you're extra lucky, they will also offer you GLP-1's without any background in dietetics or knowing anything about your history of eating disorders. And when it comes to billing, they will keep a card on file. But they have an arbitrary limit of a cumulative $1500 maximum for what they will charge that card over any period of time. They will fail to tell you that this is their policy or notify you that you've hit that limit. Bonus: To make things extra fun, even with a card on file and before the $1500 limit is reached you will get at least 3 notifications of your monthly balance. So you will ignore them, until you get a call from their office holding your CPAP supplies because you've hit that limit and now have a past due balance. (Karina, you're a real gem!) And if you want to talk to the practice manager about any of these concerns, good luck. The elusive Bianca has been "in a meeting" since at least June 2026. Posting this review at both of their office locations because the NP who I was assigned (?) to is out of their south office. The CPAP Wrangler is at their North office. And I have no clue where billing or management are.

First let me say that the doctor Duhon (who seems to get the brunt of the criticism - I've never met him) doesn't seem to be at this center any more. Just see the page - translate sleepdoctor and dot and com The only doctor I had been seeing (Dr. Das) at the center is at a different address, on Bee Cave Road near downtown. You can see their website at ansaustin dot com Dr. Das is fabulous, talented and genuine. She has a brilliant and powerful intuition about how to heal patients. And at the same time she's a very kind soul. She has helped me enormously. I trust her implicitly and of course make sure to exactly follow her recommendations. I will admit that one or two times I had to call her on her decisions. There are times when each of us needs to stand up for what we think with any doctor we might be seeing. Such as the basis for side effects. But I can be a pushy broad when it comes to my health and in my experience that's the sort of problem I've had with most doctors over the years. My first visit with a different doctor in that same center was not helpful. Probably a personality conflict between us. Being able to see Dr. Das made up for all of that. She's a bit concerned with prescribing controlled medications that may put her under the scope of the absurdity of the state of Texas. My take, after moving here 3 years ago from California - Texas is a scary place for getting medical treatments OR needed medications. I've run into some absolutely awful doctors I've never experienced elsewhere - a mixed brew. And I'm a 62 year-old broad. Jeez

I scheduled a sleep study and everything went smoothly. They called to say that I did have sleep apnea and I would need a second sleep study with a CPAP to determine if that would help my symptoms. I came in and again everything went smoothly. But then communication stopped entirely. No one called about the results of the second sleep study. There was no prescription ever written for the CPAP or any other device. I tried calling but no one ever returned my calls. It's been almost a year since my sleep study and I still don't have answers.

My husband and I were left doing all the work ourselves while she offered nothing of value. Despite not fulfilling what was promised, she refused to issue a refund. I found her from a Google search late one night after my second child would not stop screaming and crying and thank goodness I did. Our first child was (and still is) such a great sleeper. At the time we thought we were amazing parents who knew exactly what they were doing (HA!) and had our first child sleep trained within a week with minimal effort- just a shift in a routine. Enter our second child, Luca. We followed Taking Cara Babies and for the first couple months of his life that worked just fine. And then he went through the dreaded sleep regression at 4 months and our lives flipped upside down. Taking Cara Babies and all the IG sleep resources could not help us. We needed a professional. We purchased the "Help! I'm Drowning!" package because Luca was waking up every 2 hours and would only go back to sleep if he was nursing. He only took cat naps and was really struggling. I tried everything and nothing would work. Bethany came in and did a full assessment, gave us a sleep plan and scheduled our in home dates. She did 3 overnights and by night 3 Luca was sleeping through the night. She saw Luca's struggles and personalized her sleep training for him. I love that she sees each child for their own self. Her solution is not a one size fits all like the other generic sleep resources. Luca now sleeps 7pm-7am and has a solid nap schedule. I cannot recommend Bethany enough. Luca is well rested and so is everyone else in the family. THANK YOU BETHANY!

We had…read morea quick talk and she said she would be requesting a 3 night at-home sleep study from my insurance. After not hearing from the office for over 2 weeks, I called and was told that they had not received my coverage info from my insurance. I called back a few days later and was told the same thing, so I decided to call my insurance. My insurance said they had zero contact from Texas Sleep Medicine and immediately offered to call their office while I was on the line with them. The office staff said their benefits coordinator Mary Ann was out of the office, so my insurance rep left her a very detailed message explaining how they can call to verify my coverages and verify if prior authorization is needed. I called Texas Sleep Medicine back a few days later, which was now over 3 weeks since I had originally been seen by them, and found that they still had not done anything on their end to verify my coverages with my insurance. Today, I received an email from Ashley Hernandez that said they would be willing to schedule my sleep study without insurance for $700 if I would like to go that route. After they had not contacted my insurance for over three weeks, they were suggesting I go the cash-pay route for $700 rather than use the insurance I was begging them to contact for weeks. Waiting over three weeks simply to verify insurance is completely unacceptable, especially when my insurance has reached out to Texas Sleep Medicine directly to assist. Do not waste your time trying to work with Texas Sleep Medicine. Their office staff is completely inept and their office managers have no clue what is going on with their patients.
