First Visit: I had been dealing with a respiratory tract infection for almost 30 days and had already been treated by another community care center. Since I had a trip planned, I wanted to confirm whether I was still contagious. After completing my paperwork, I was called in quickly. The doctor reviewed my symptoms--fever that came and went, a bad cough, and throat discomfort. She checked my vitals, body temperature, and BP, which were all normal at that moment. Since I had already completed a round of antibiotics, she advised me to let my body fight the infection, reassuring me that I was no longer contagious. That was a relief, and I left Ally without being charged. Second Visit: After returning from my trip to California, I came back to Ally with a 103°F fever, severe body aches, extreme fatigue, and a baddd cough. This time, they ran every available test for infections and viruses, which confirmed that I had Influenza A, Influenza B, and COVID-19 and Respiratory Tract Infection. Unfortunately, since I had been sick for over a week, the doctor explained that antiviral medication wouldn't be effective. But they saw how severe my cough was, they prescribed an inhaler and cough medication to help manage my symptoms. I was charged $220 but that was in my best interest there are several other options which you can decide accordingly. What I appreciate most about Ally is that they are upfront about costs. Unlike other ERs that seem to prioritize billing over patient care, they inform you of pricing in advance, giving you the option to accept or decline services based on what's in your best interest. I honestly trust them more than my own physician at this point. I once took a friend to another ER where she tested positive for the flu. All they did was checked her vitals and BP before prescribing medication. Later she received a bill for $1,000. I was very ill at the time, so I do not have any pictures of Ally. We were taken to a room within 5 minutes and greeted by two nurses who immediately began consultation and setting up the IV. I love how quick the discharge process was -- they make it so simple for you. Shoutout to Colin and Sherry, they are the best nurses we have come across and that says a lot given we are in an ER every few months. They are very great at making you feel heard and overall just amazingly nice people. The best of the best. Dr. Wright was very knowledgeable and just as respectful/nice as the nurses. Dr. Wright spent the time with us that a lot of medical providers fail to do. He explained options, possible effects, and helped us with decision making. He never made us feel like he was in a rush. He listened and advised. Thank you for that. Overall, we were taken very good care of at Vik Complete Care and will certainly choose this location in the future. I've only had two phone interactions with the office since returning to care, and unfortunately, both were unnecessarily rude and condescending. The first was regarding a same day schedule change the office requested less than an hour before my appointment. When I couldn't accommodate the new time due to work, I was met with clear frustration and no flexibility. So I just made it work anyway. The second happened today: I had a virtual appointment this morning, and moments ago received a phone call demanding immediate payment -- not just for today's appointment, but also for one from a month ago that I hadn't even been notified about until just an hour earlier from my insurance. When I asked if I could pay through the portal, I was repeatedly pressured to pay over the phone instead, as if I was avoiding the bill. I have no issue paying my bill, and in fact, I paid it immediately after the call ended. But I was spoken to as if I had ignored multiple invoices, and the tone felt aggressive and was incredibly inappropriate. I understand that medical offices deal with difficult patients all the time. But kindness should be the standard, not the exception, especially when both phone calls I've had with your office staff have left a bad taste in my mouth. Thankfully, Dr. Ince makes it worth continuing care. But I'm genuinely relieved that my appointments are virtual, because based on how I've been treated, I have no desire to deal with this staff in person.

I was on an important call with my doctor and politely asked for a moment, but she rushed me and said I had to fill out the form right that second or she would reschedule my appointment. It would've taken me two seconds--completely unreasonable and unprofessional. Definitely not a welcoming first impression. Wonder why they're not even a 3 star.

Too many doctors see themselves above human error. My primary doctor had retired and I had to…read moreschedule my annual wellness exam with a new doctor. Dr Harris was taking new patients so I scheduled with a clear understanding that I was coming for an annual wellness exam covered by Medicare. Unfortunately my appointment was during the flooding in the Austin area, with low water crossings closed prior to public road closings were updated. My travel to the clinic took 90 minutes that is typically 50 minutes. I checked in to the front desk 17 minutes late and Dr Harris made the decision to turn me away regardless of the 3 hour round trip I had just made, white knuckling it all the way. Since I didn't know her, I gave her the benefit of the doubt and rescheduled for the following day. Storms still prevailed but I took alternative routes and arrived 20 minutes before my appointment. Upon checkin I was told this annual physical would not be covered by Medicare. And was given a spread sheet that required fasting for the blood test, another request I made in advance to have before the exam, only to be told she doesn't do that with new patients, requiring a followup visit - I'm guessing for additional costs tacked on to the initial visit. She finally showed up to my room 30 minutes after the office visit was scheduled. This was our first introduction and I knew just by her appearance she was not in good physical health based on her obesity. I proceeded to share with her the appointment confusion over an annual wellness exam that clearly is covered by Medicare and the $215 costs now being required not to mention the return for labs. Then I showed her pictures of my previous days travel showing her the closed water crossings from the morning before, and the 17 minute delay. At that moment I was prepared to leave without an exam based on her 30 minute late entry to my 2nd appointment! I'm done with this "God" mentality in the medical industry and how rules apply to clients but not held by the same doctors that set these rules. And one more point...if you are in the medical industry, especially primary care, you should practice and look the part. One of the questions I was going to ask was her knowledge of nutrition, supplements and peptides along with HRT. I got my answer when the fat Dr Harris walked into my room. Do better.

Everyone from the front desk to the imaging area was so kind, helpful and knowledgeable. The nurses were thorough, professional, and caring. The radiology tech was one of the nicest people I've met in a minute! The doctor actually spoke to me like a real person. This was in stark contrast to the CareNow clinic I visited earlier in the day wherein the doc stared at his computer screen as he typed the whole time he was in the room with me. At Ally, the doc had a conversation and let me have a voice in my care plan. She actually seemed like she cared about what was going on with me even though we didn't really figure it out. She made she I was safe to go about life and try to figure it out with my pcp, which was all I needed. I had seen the Ally logo around but didn't know what it was. Now I know they are my emergency medicine ally! Hope I don't have to go back, but know I'll choose Ally over anywhere else if I do.

I felt personally violated. So I was very nervous going into my first appointment Dr. Shah. I chose Dr. Shah based on several good reviews that I read online. His bedside manner was as explained in the reviews. Very kind, very patient, very informative, very "gentle." We discussed all of my options. I felt like he really took his time with me. He and I decided on the best next course of action for me to get well. For only the second time in regards to this very painful and potentially dangerous medical condition, I felt HEARD. Specifically, that Dr. Shah understood my trepidation and concerns about upcoming medical procedures. After my initial consult, somehow something got lost.In translation. Dr. Shah did refer me to another specialist; however, it was not as we had discussed in office. Since my initial visit, I have had a subsequent telehealth with Dr. Shah. Once again he addressed all of my questions. And offering telehealth is so incredibly convenient, particularly when mobility and transportation is an issue. Next step is to readdress a new referral and move forward on my medical journey. I feel like I'm in good hands...physically and metaphorically. As far as the clinic, making an appointment was really simple. Everyone at the front desk is super nice and helpful. My in office appointment was right on time. I set in the very crowded waiting room for about five minutes. I was pleasantly surprised. I recommend Dr. Shah for your medical speciality care needs. After the appointment where we first met, I felt 1000% comfortable and confident in his skills. He was warm, humble, and explained the procedure fully so I wouldn't have any concerns. Dr. Reichel, if anyone ever asks who to see for hand surgery, they won't even be able to finish their question before I blurt out: DR. REICHEL!!! The BEST!!! Day of surgery: from the receptionist to the OR staff---thank you, each of you were so accommodating and friendly! Now, shout outs to the medical team: Ashley: in the business office, taking care of business like the pro she is! Thank you, Ashley, for making everything super smooth--from checking in to making my payment for the surgery. You're A+ :-) Madison: the pre-op nurse who treated me like we were best friends, starting with texting me to see if I could come in a few hours earlier because Dr. Reichel had a spot open up. Flora & Fawna!" and, after figuring out how to pull it up on the speakers, that's what I got to listen to while Dr. R did his magic! I believe you were the one helping Dr. Reichel with the scalpels and other necessary operational tools, so thank you for being a great listener and assistant! About the surgery: I was given a local anesthetic to deaden the area of my palm and wrist, plus a blood slowing shot so I wouldn't bleed there, either. The actual surgery was a breeze---maybe 30 minutes? The cool thing was Dr. Reichel asked if I wanted to see inside my hand, so I got to witness how my hand works---also, I saw the "bruise" that was causing the carpal along with the "band" they had to sever. It looked like a small man hole (ha ha! I guess it WAS a small man hole, made by a male doctor!) and when Dr. Reichel said he was going to rinse it out, I realized it was the only time the INSIDE of my body was getting a bath. It was so much fun to have conversations during the surgery with Peggy and Dr. Reichel. I don't want to, but if I ever have to, I would definitely utilize Dr. Reichel and his team again! A+++++++++++++ PLUS! It's been two and a half days and here I am TYPING on my computer keyboard! How much more written proof do you need that Dr. Reichel is the fo shizzle?!

I came here for emergency surgery, and the first issue I ran into was parking. I spent over 30…read moreminutes driving around trying to find a parking spot because the lot was full, and to make matters worse, someone was taking up two parking spaces by parking terribly. I went into Suite 109 and informed the staff. I even offered to give them the vehicle's license plate number because I felt it was a serious inconvenience, especially for a surgery center where patients need access to parking. I suggested they call a tow truck or have someone address the situation since people coming in for surgery shouldn't have to waste time searching for a place to park. The only response I received was, "Yeah, parking is bad." That made me feel completely brushed off, like no one cared or took the concern seriously. It was very disappointing and unprofessional, especially considering this is a medical facility where patients may be in pain, dealing with emergencies, or on a strict schedule for surgery. Customer service starts the moment a patient walks through the door. Concerns shouldn't be dismissed with a shrug. If staff aren't willing to address issues or at least show empathy, then perhaps it's time to invest in better customer service training. There are plenty of people who would be grateful for the opportunity to work and would take patient concerns seriously. Something needs to be done about the parking situation. Either enforce proper parking so vehicles aren't taking up two spaces, or expand parking if possible. Patients coming in for surgery already have enough to worry about--they shouldn't have to spend 30 minutes searching for a parking spot before their procedure.
