I ordered a suppressor with this store. I was charged their standard fee and paid it. I was told I…read morecould not submit my paper work to the ATF until their "NFA guy" came to the store in a few days. I waited the few days and got my paperwork filled out. The "NFA guy" told me I was all set and everything was submitted. Only problem was I never got an email notification from the AFT say my paperwork was submitted. The "NFA guy" told me I was all good and it takes a few days with their system. He told me I should get approval in about 2 weeks. Fast forward about 6 weeks (45 days), still no email or update. So I can their 15th street store where I submitted the paper work. They dismissed me and told me to talk to "Grant" from another store (their plano gun range). I frequent the gun range and have always had good experiences. I get Grant on the phone who informed me that the 15th street store never submitted my paper work and I was waiting for nothing. Grant submitted my paperwork on the spot and I got an immediate ATF notification of the submitted paperwork (a very different experience than the 15th street store's "NFA guy's" statement). less than 6 days go by and i got my approval. I go in to pick up my Can and the "NFA guy" is there. he immediately blamed Grant for the who hang up and said sometimes it happens. Never offered an apology or took responsibility. For the record, this in not my first can (my 5th) and I have a decent idea of how this works. Based on my experience with the 15th street store. I will definitely not being going back to them for cans. Also this is not a knock on their range or Grant. They have always been great and have helped me. This is my bad/first experience ive had with the 15th street store and will not be doing business with them again regarding cans or anything that is not already on hand at the store. Additionally, I enjoy the range and got there often. I have been going to the range for years since they opened. It should be noted Grant is not the "NFA guy" I was directed to when at the 15th Street store. Grant was the savior in this story and helped me get my can out of misterguns jail.

The prices are about average and they do carry some new ammo not just reloads. The store is really small so don't think they have a huge selection because everything is on one wall but they will have most of what you need to get started. I had a disappointing and honestly concerning experience at ARA Guns. It took almost 15 minutes…read morebefore anyone acknowledged me or asked if I needed help. I eventually asked whether they were hiring and was told they didn't have any openings, which is completely fair. I stayed to browse their selection, and while I was there, an employee handed a customer a KRISS Vector. The stock was folded, and afterward they couldn't figure out how to reopen it. Three employees and two customers examined it without being able to operate it correctly. I have never owned, handled, or operated a KRISS Vector, but I offered to look at it and opened the stock in roughly three seconds without instructions or assistance. At that point, my honest thought was: Are you sure you aren't hiring? Because I apparently understood the firearm better than the employees actively presenting it to a customer. If a gun store chooses to carry a particular firearm, especially one with a less conventional design, its employees should understand its basic controls, features, and proper order of operations before placing it into a customer's hands. That knowledge should not be improvised in front of the customer. There should be a clear process for safely demonstrating every firearm the store sells, and employees who are unfamiliar with a model should receive training before handling or presenting it. This is not merely about looking unprofessional. Firearms are not ordinary retail products, and a lack of basic product knowledge can become a serious safety issue. Watching multiple employees struggle with the basic operation of a firearm they were demonstrating felt careless and potentially negligent. Not having a position available wasn't the problem. The lack of customer acknowledgment, product familiarity, and apparent operating procedures was the problem. Frankly, I should probably have been given a chance over the clowns who couldn't operate a firearm they were actively showing to a customer. I walked in hoping to learn more about the business and possibly find an employment opportunity; I walked out questioning whether the employees had been properly trained on the products they sell

Came here on weekday evening with friends. They had a big lobby, full of guns, bullets, gun range…read moreaccessories and merchandise products. We had to submit our IDs and read the full T&C in order be eligible to get in the range. They didn't rent googles and ear muffs, but they sold them for decent price. Ear muffs were $15, and goggles were only $5. After the registration process, then we moved to the gun rental area where a staff member showed us different pistols and riffles. He was very knowledgeable about different types of guns and ammo. He also gave us a detailed brief on how to hold and reload the guns. After all the paperwork and crash courses, finally we went able to walk to the range. It was indoor and super loud due so nearby parties using big guns like shotgun and snipers. But overall it was easy to control the poster hanger and shoot from the window. We had an hour to use all the ammo. Once our time was up, we took the items back to rental area. We got our IDs back once the return was complete. Then we when to the registration counter to pay our dues. We were group of 5 friends and the kind staff member allowed all of us to split the bill and pay equal amount. It came to $45 per person for 2 guns (rental), 70 bullets and goggles. It was very reasonable price in my opinion. Overall a solid gun range but got some room to improve.
