Excellent burgers, excellent curly fries, very reasonable prices. Some minor cons was next door ice cream parlor was not really up to the same quality as the main restaurant (ran out of some flavors, some ice cream was melting in the tubs etc), they ran out of Coke Zero (and Diet Coke and diet everything seemingly enough) when I was there, and maybe 20% of my burger was a bit too pink (my girlfriend's burger was 100% good) Still, overall an excellent place to eat. I think on most days would have been 5 stars but all the things running out knocked it down a notch. read more

So the Burgers get 5 stars. The problem is I don't like when restaurants use fake chicken breast on their grilled chicken salad. I will gladly pay an extra couple bucks for the real thing. I will go back for a burger but I will advise anyone in my party to avoid the chicken salad. Weird thing is the chicken fingers were real meat. read more

I thought this place was good. I got a chicken sandwich (what I usually get anywhere else) and it was better than most! It was moist and seasoned perfect! The reason I'm giving just 4 stars is because my husband said his chili burger was just "okay". There aren't very many food choices in Page but overall I would recommend it. read more

Had the buffalo burger, onion rings and a drink. It did not taste very buffalo-y like a special type of burger should, although it was a bit over cooked, it still tasted good. Onion rings were good, not the normal breading on it. Seemed like a solid enough place considering the location. Service did take a while, but the place is called slackers. read more

Our whole family enjoyed our lunch! The buffalo burger was great! My husband had the bacon burger and said it was good meat, just needed a little salt. My kids both had grill cheese. It was a good place to take kids. And one of the only good places to stop for food on the long drive from Utah to Arizona. We'd go again. Extremely good burger for the small budget. We came cross this quality grub while looking for good restaurants in Page. Honestly most restaurants weren't rated so well. So we've decided to go to Slackers. And it was so worth it. They're burgers are awesome. We've had the Bacon Burger and the Cheeseburger and shared a basket of homemade and home cut french fries. Plus three sodas we paid $30 in total for three people. If you go to a fast food burger chain nearby it's your fault. You order inside at the counter and the you can seat yourself anywhere you want. For a place that strives and advertises the best burger in town may be true, but the customer service and the service itself is what needs improvement on. First off the fries are what I love about the place but sometimes it a hit or miss and you get the end of the left over fries. You try to get fresh ones? You get attitude. For the employees, they all seem fed up with the world, almost as if management don't care about them. Food takes awhile, especially if you go in during lunch time which shouldn't be that drastic of a different in time but you could be waiting in line to order for about 5-10 minutes and won't get your food for another 20-25 minutes. Also, there is no designated area for the food to be placed to be ready for the servers so they just put along the end of the counter where you ordered and it's a small area so be prepared for your order to get mixed up. Takes a lot of patience to eat here, since the last time I was there the couple across from me never got his burger but his wife did and when she finished he ended up only eating fries with his soda. read more

Our experience may have been unusual but I won't know because I'll never go back. We went to get a beer and sandwich after a run. They have a reasonable selection of bottled beer, no draft and no micro-brews to speak of. The guy taking our order was very friendly and conversational.... to the point of being very slow and to the detriment of the people in the very long line. Our burgers were so horribly overlooked that they were barely edible. They offered to remake them but said they would only do so after all the orders of the long line had been filled. Who has that kind of time? Half of our group had stomach aches lasting into the night. We considered ice cream to settle our stomachs but left after there was no service and a sign advised us to seek service from the burger counter. read more

This place is a diamond in the rough, if you order the correct thing. I have been here a few times now when I am in Page for work. Steer clear of the chicken strips, and go for the burgers. A good burger - but have had better. In Page, this is your choice (along with Sonic) for the burger urge. It is connected to an ice cream shop so you can feed all of your sins in one stop. One of the tour guides at lower canyon recommended this place to me when I visited Page recently. The food was great, amazing service. Super friendly people. I believe it was the owner going around asking how everyone was doing and he even cleared our table. I am vegetarian, and they had a veggie sub option. The fries were hot, straight from the fryer. Well, we were in Page,AZ to go on an Antelope Canyon Tour but got there about an hour early. I asked the guy in the tour office on where he recommended to go get something to eat and he said to go here. Even though usually the locals know best I still checked Yelp for reviews and it looked good. I am glad we ended up eating here. I had a Bacon cheese burger with jalapeno peppers and onion ring and my wife had a Cold Club sandwich with frys. We both really liked the food, the service was good and it had that home town feel. Ordered the hot veggie sub. The peanuts in it gave an interesting taste, but didn't like it after a while. The veggies inside were cooked a tad bit too long resulting in it being soggy. Probably should have expected that the food portion would have been small considering how the price is cheap.
