This has truly been the worst experience of my life. I cannot imagine how these people have the audacity to call themselves professionals--and now I understand why their ratings are so low. First off, the person who was supposed to perform my laser hair removal--Laila Bandahan--is truly unprofessional; she was always more concerned about the payment than about the actual results. We agreed on a treatment plan consisting of six sessions, with payments to be made in installments based on the results. During the first session, she asked me *only* about the payment; I paid her, and she spent a mere five minutes on the session itself, claiming that her machine was so good that I wouldn't need any more time than that. As it turned out, by the third day, my face looked exactly the same as before. I returned for my second appointment; she attended to me but claimed she didn't know I was coming--despite the fact that an appointment had clearly been scheduled! I explained the lack of results from the first session, but she simply told me, "You have to make the payment before I can treat you," and she completely ignored the complaint I had just voiced. I have undergone this treatment at other places before, but because I recently moved, I tried to find a place closer to my new home. However, I am telling everyone in the DMV area: do not go anywhere near this clinic! Honestly, it is useless. They are unprofessional and are only interested in collecting your money without caring at all about the actual results. Take note: don't even bother coming in or calling. You run the risk of simply losing your money. I wasted $250 on a laser appointment only to have absolutely nothing done. To top it off, neither Laila nor a certain "Doctor" who works there made any effort to explain *why* the results were so poor. I've attached a photo of the place; if there were a "Mega-Score" category for bad service, believe me, I would be the first person to give it to them. I just finished a year of Brazilian laser sessions at this place. Honestly not thrilled with my results. Everyone who is saying that the tech Kate is great and the laser is painless is absolutely correct. But before Kate there was a different tech who has since been fired and Kate took her place. The previous person had not been using the laser at the power that she should have been. Which is why it was painless. I had a total of 12 sessions with only about 60% reduction in hair. And it's already starting to grow back in. Remember that this is a Groupon place also. So it's a little sketchy. They do the laser in a dentist office. Overall I'm very unhappy. Staff is friendly.. there is a little wait time once you arrive, but Laser tech women is very quick once you're called back. I informed her that I experienced some irritation after the 1st treatment that lasted 2-3days. She told me that it was normal because my skin is not used to it. Dusty is very friendly and nice and while her hours are not the normal 9-5 m-f it was super easy to make an appointment with her, even for the week of. Skyline Laser Spa shares a reception with the Soft Touch Dentistry office. Reception was friendly and the waiting room is clean. The room for Skyline is more clinical than spa like, and it's decorated in cheery blues and whites. Skyline laser spa uses SplendorX laser which blows cold air while lasering without gel. I came here for underarms and the whole process was quick and painless. You can feel the follicles being zapped but no heat or other sensations involved (unlike some other lasers I've had before ) Splendor X was released in the end of 2018, so Skyline has some of the latest tech on hand! I'm looking forward to my future visits with Dusty and seeing the results! read more

I purchased a Groupon for Skyline Laser. The lady scheduling appointments was very professional and helpful. When I arrived for my appointment, I filled out paperwork and then had my first laser hair removal treatment. I was a little nervous as I had laser hair removal 10 years ago and it was very painful. I had a great experience here, from the people to the actually service! I received laser on my upper lip and the machine that they used was honestly so quick and I barely felt a thing! I received laser hair removal a couple years ago and it was so much more painful and so when I went here I was expecting it to also be painful however I was happily proven wrong! The people were so friendly from beginning to end and super helpful when helping me make my appointment. I've been going for a couple of months now and the results are not as good as all the other reviews say. I've been here for many sessions and I've lost 30% of hair from when I started. The thing that bothers me the most is that she is always rushing! I have many areas where I get laser and she rushes through and gets me out in 15 or less. Skyline Laser is the best in NoVA for laser hair removal! I found this business on GroupOn and learned that they have one of the newest, high-tech laser hair removal machines on the market--the Splendor X. I scheduled my appointment with Dusty and this machine is worth all the hype. First, Skyline Laser is in a location with ample parking. The office is clean and Dusty is so kind and welcoming. I prefer offices that get right to the point and Skyline Laser gets right to the point of laser hair removal. It's just you, Dusty, and the Splendor X which is amazing! The Splendor X treats areas in squares, instead of circles, which allows the laser to cover a larger area in a shorter amount of time. Also, this machine is painless and I don't need any kind of numbing cream. My sessions are quick and my results have been so excellent that I'm now treating even more sensitive areas. This is the most unprofessional business I have dealt with in years. I purchased three PRP Facials on Groupon and tried to book an appointment. After going on and on about the difference between what they have for sale currently on Groupon and the PRP Facials AFTER I made it perfectly clear that I wanted to book the one using blood, they put me on hold. Twice more this happened. I asked if they had appointments available and was told they had several. But when I finally got tired of being run around and told that suddenly the machine for that facial was at the other office (there's no other office and they wouldn't give me the 'other office' address, they put me on hold to serve another customer! After wasting more of my time with me insisting on booking my appointment, they offered me one the end of Aug. Businesses are desperately trying to recover from COVID19 closings yet this one refuses to serve the Groupon offers THEY ADVERTISED! The DC Metro area is full of great places to get facials of all types. This is one to give a miss. The customer service is appallingly and I wouldn't trust their ability to provide a safe and reliable result. I fear for anyone that uses them. read more

This place is FRAUD. Please do NOT BUY HERE. I originally saw Dusty in Nova (the dental office, yeah weird i know) but she closed down during COVID so that is the last I've seen of her. From the beginning, she takes weeks to reply and quadruple books people into appointment. So you're sitting in a waiting room full of people getting root canals and dental cleanings while waiting to get your vagina waxed (lol, but seriously.) Anyway, the unresponsiveness is one thing but when she does reply she NEVER acknowledges that you've had to reach out multiple times up to 4 weeks for a response. It's UTTERLY RIDICULOUS. Skyline then changes their location to a completely different area and doesn't notify anyone. After she went missing for 6 weeks, she nonchalantly responded to me to schedule then notified me that the location changed to 40 minutes south, WTH! To top it off, she didn't show for our appointment. I don't live in VA so I'm coming from over an hour away for her not to show nor to respond when I reached out to her. If I could give this review no stars I'd give them a negative zero. I purchased this via Groupon. Don't let their professional website fool you. I should've known that there was something wrong when I initially had to text +1 (571) 550-0142 to request a time to schedule with them. It took them 3 weeks to respond. The person that called didn't even work for the company she said she was a friend helping out the Dusty (the lady that does the treatments, and she really didn't know what she was doing but she was trying to help her gather everything. She scheduled an appointment at 1:45 pm ET on the upcoming Sunday. On Friday, a few days before the initial appointment she text me and asked if she can schedule my time at 1:45pm ET instead (mind you my appointment was already "scheduled" for that time. So on Sunday, Dusty text me from an unrecognized number (unknown sender) +1 (505) 604-5510, which I never received. Typically most businesses call or leave a message asking to return the call for an update on the appointment. When I am already on my way sitting in alittle traffic. Dusty calls me at 1:30pm and says that her 2pm appointment canceled and she needs to cancel my appointment that's scheduled in 15minutes so that she can take her son to the movies. She really needs to take him to the movies. I was annoyed and irritated, but I have a son too so I understand spending quality time. She asked if we can schedule time the following Sunday she asked me what time I said 2pm. The friends from the 571 # text me and ask if we can change the time at 3, I asked if there was any more time earlier, she said no do you want to shoot for another day. I said no, I'll take 3pm ET but please do not reschedule the time any further this is beginning to be an inconvenience to my own personal schedule and I'll still have to schedule more sessions after this for the follow up appointments and this is becoming a pain! So on Sunday, I left home alittle earlier at 1:50pm bc I had ran into some traffic the following Sunday for my first initial appointment, so I figured I should leave alittle earlier and at 2pm I received a text from the 571 # saying that she has an emergency and she has to leave but that she will make it up to me. Mind you this is friend that doesn't work for the company, she is just helping out dusty. I purchased this via Groupon, I'm not sure if this is the reason I have been getting the cold shoulder and the unprofessionalism, or maybe this is a fraud situation where I have been scammed. I wish I could rate "0" stars. I too purchased a deal through Groupon - opted for the six-pack ipl photofacial deal at well over $400.00. My friend had been RAVING about Dusty (although she too is not not a happy camper right now) and I have a lot of dark blotches on my face so I was excited to try. My first text (because when you call you are instructed to contact via text hmmmm), was March 2nd and I received a reply the same day - I scheduled for a date in April. Then came the pandemic and things were shut down - of course, totally understand! We corresponded again on March 20th regarding if the Groupon would expire and she replied she could extend it. I sent a text on March 28th (no reply) and again on April 5th. I heard back on April 7th and she said she had closed March 25th and sent blast emails/texts advising and sorry if I did not receive (which I didn't and neither did my friend) and she said she could put me on the schedule early May (if things were open) and I asked for mid-May and Dusty (or whomever) said they would schedule and what day I preferred. Answered back as to date preference - no reply. I pinged again on April 13th and received a reply on April 16th and we scheduled for late May (all good although spotty in replying). On May 12th I sent a text in regards to NoVA not reopening and could we move to late June (no reply). I pinged again on May 27th and on the 28th I received a reply that the practice had relocated and appointments would start on June 2nd. Mind you, still did not acknowledge my previous request/texts. (My friend being a regular customer has never received word regarding relocation!!) On the 31st I replied asking where she was now located and on the 1st she replied in Great Falls. I sent back on the 1st that was fine and when could she schedule me.............that's the last I heard - today is June 6th and I have given up. I can say that with the craziness in the world, some things are understandable. And yet on the other hand, people are paying hundreds of dollars and do deserve the respect of acknowledgement/quick replies - not days and weeks in between. We all live on our phones and texts so not replying just tells me I'm being ignored. I have been the one putting out all the effort and get the feeling it just doesn't matter to her. She'll deal with me when she feels like it/gets around to it. I feel perhaps she is inundated due to being shut down for months and thus rescheduling regular customers and also probably the quantity of people using Groupon deals is making her head spin. Again, understandable and then again, perhaps I'm giving too much credit. But it still does not excuse the lack of replying. Just tell me you can't take new customers right now and schedule me a month or two/three out. But to be left hanging, it just doesn't work for me and isn't a good sign of the business! I have since traded in my Groupon as I am left skeptical and really do not want to give my business to one that doesn't respect me before we even get started. After just the first session, I noticed that the hair was coming back finer and only in patches. They are very professional and send texts to remind you of your appointments. I've been getting laser hair removal done with Ayesha for a few months now and she's been absolutely incredible! Prices are very fair and reasonable and I've had great results. So much so that I initially started with just my chest but I've bought sessions for the whole body. So happy to be getting this done and Ayesha has been such a professional the whole time. A few months ago, I met the very professional laser tech Dusty when I had her touch up some areas I had laser treatments on years ago in another state. I travel both foreign and domestically frequently and have had many esthetician and beauty services wherever I am. I can't sing her praises high enough. She met me with a friendly smile and put me at ease immediately and I knew I'd be comfortable with her doing the work. She is very well spoken and affable. She is very self assured and carries herself professionally and with authority. I learned she is well educated and had held a highly esteemed position in the military in her previous career. I had anticipated to have to lie still for half an hour with ice packs on my sensitive parts before she could proceed with her work. Instead, I was pleasantly surprised that with her expertise and equipment, I had zero pain or discomfort as she got to work on me immediately. I had many questions and she provided me with much information and educated me further on more laser treatments that I will continue getting. I just learned she's moved to a new location inside Jolie Hair Salon at Leigh Corners in Great Falls. As far as I'm concerned, no distance is too far for me to travel to get such a great technician do the upcoming very private work I've got scheduled. It's easy to schedule appointments with her by texting and she called me back within a day. Trust me, she's worth it.
