I have been coming to Dr. Wolfe since her Dr. Kauffman days :) and she is awesome! Very personable, always smiling and ready to listen to me. She is also not the kind of doctor who will take one look and be like, - Oh this little problem of yours, it will be gone in no time. She will take her time to explain the symptoms, not promise me random miracles and be upfront of what the consequences/ results of the treatment will be. The fact that I have stuck to her as my dermatologist since 2012, given her uber rude/ nonchalant/ non-accommodating staff is testament to how good she exactly is! More than once, I have heard the staff make comments (sometimes rude ones), about other patients. Getting an appointment is TOUGH and usually making an appointment before you leave the office is best. IF you ever need to cancel, God help you! Their staff will not make it a pleasant experience. In terms of waiting time, it is usually consistent between 10 - 20 minutes. However, I have had appointments where I waited less than 5 minutes and the one like last time where I waited an hour! I have usually seen that coming in at least 15 minutes prior to your appointment time helps a lot. However, I do love coming to Dr. Wolfe for her expertise, her bedside manner and her general disdain towards over medication. I would happily give this place 5 stars had the front desk staff been nicer. read more

The day before got a phone call that they need to reschedule me, that's fine I was scheduled again July 11th. Today got a voicemail saying they need to reschedule me again. Seriously?? I give the 5 stars only because of Dr. Wolfe, not because of any other aspect of the office. The staff is pretty unprofessional and don't really seem to take their job too seriously, and the wait time beyond your scheduled appointment is a little lengthy, but Dr. Wolfe makes up for it. She spends a good amount of time with you, not just the typical rush in and out visit you get at a typical doctor appointment. I was diagnosed with severe psoriasis about 8 years ago and have been to multiple doctors who have given me steroids and other harsh prescriptions that haven't done anything, I even did Xtrac laser which didn't help. After going to Dr. Wolfe it turns out that I have just been misdiagnosed this entire time! She gave me MUCH healthier and safer alternatives (which are more effective!), than what I have been given by other dermatologists, and spent about 20 minutes with me discussing how to get my real condition under control. She's also willing to communicate questions/concerns/Rx via email which is great since trying to get an appointment with her can be a little difficult since she books up so early! read more

I needed to see a dermatologist and noticed there was some great reviews for this place. It took me a whole month to get in to see Dr. Haufman. Originally I thought I had schedule and appt with dr. Wolfe (I guess not). The 15 minute appt. costed me about 150$. I was told things that I've already known and prescribed Solodyn. I read reviews online about this medication and noticed the side effects are pretty horrifying (thanks for the warning doc...not!). I'll update the review later. Dr. Wolfe is great! She always spends plenty of time with me, listening to my concerns and plotting a course of action. I see her for issues with acne, which often means I'm using medicines that aren't generic. I love that she gives me rebate cards for these prescriptions to help offset the cost. She's also not strict about how many issues you bring to her attention in one visit. During one acne related visit, I asked her about a wound I had on my leg and she gave me samples and advice on how to help it heal quicker. Speaking of which, there's always a basket of fun skincare samples that patients are free to take at the check-out area, complete with a list of Dr. Wolfe's recommended skincare products. I only give 4 stars because of the office staff and wait. The staff isn't usually that friendly, and although they get the job done, they don't go the extra mile. They can sometimes be rude on the phone too. A few times I have had to wait a long time to get into a room and see Dr. Wolfe. Depending on the day, it can sometimes be 30-45 minutes. If you're looking to see Dr. Wolfe, and you're a new patient, be prepared to wait at least 2 months. If you're already a patient, it's usually about a month wait. She's definitely worth it though. read more

I moved here a few years ago and needed to see a dermatologist about a mole on my arm. I randomly made an appointment with Dr. (Hunt) Wolfe and was very happy with her. She is hilarious, fun to spend your dermatology time with, and is comforting. The waiting area has always been packed when I've seen her, which i know isn't her fault, but it makes for an anxious waiting period. Also, I've had two moles removed and both times the sutures used were thick and left large scars. Really love Dr. Wolfe! She's understanding and caring and really listens. Always makes me feel comfortable and always has suggestions on how to keep my skin clear. The only reason for the 4-Star is scheduling. Like other reviewers have mentioned, she typically books up months in advance. I had an apt. scheduled for 3/4, just called today (1/29) to reschedule since I'll be out of town for work in March, and the soonest is 4/23 (about 7 weeks later!!) All the great things that you have heard about Dr. Wolfe is true. I love this dermatologist! Although I moved, I am still willing to make the :45 min. ride for my visits. She takes her time and super knowledgeable about ailments. Once I went in about my face ailments and mentioned that I hated a mole on my neck and she was like "you want me to remove it, I can remove it now." And, she totally removed it and provided some ointment to put on for the next 5 days and since then she's removed another mole. It has definitely been a great experience. You can even email her which is great an will get a reply within 24 hours. That's a great service to patients. The staff is also nice with the exception of just one lady, however, I am warming her up to me lol. I am super nice so it's hard for people not to react nicely to me. So one day she's going to talk, I feel it. Also, the arcade game, one day im going to be that one 30+ year old person to play it while everyone stares at me, lol. The waiting room is pretty awkward so just read a magazine and look down. Only bad remark and I'm not sure how they could make this better is the wait time. I think because they want to cram as many patients in one day as possible (which all "great doctors practice this). The wait can be anywhere at min. :40 min. to about an hour wait. Ive never been there and was seen in :15 min. The wait time is typically :40 min. I met with Dr. Wolfe for the first time on Monday. I waited for 3 months (because of her popularity) for the appointment, but it was worth every second of the wait. Dr. Wolfe is knowledgeable, professional, and takes the time to explain all of the medicine behind potential treatments. She is also extremely personal, and a sharp physician with an amazing bedside manner and presence. I highly recommend her. read more

Unfortunately, I never got to see Dr. Wolfe. I made an appointment three months ago. When I heard in the weather forecast that we were supposed to get 8 inches of snow I called the office and asked how I would be rescheduled as I waited 3 months to be seen. She said I would have to make another appointment. I asked if I would have to wait another 3 months. She said yes. I said 3 months?! She said yes 3 months! I wouldn't say she said it in a pleasant way and she told me there was no point in worrying about it now. So the next day (day of the snow) rolls around and go figure... so far no snow and the office is already closed. I did not receive a phone call. I had to call the office and they have a recorded phone message. I understand to be fair they can't inconvenience other patients but at least open up the office for extended hours one day this week or possibly on a Saturday or find some other option. I can't believe I have to wait another 3 months (which I'm not going to). I wasn't waiting to be seen for a simple matter. My hair has been coming out and my scalp has been burning. I've seen two regular doctors and an endocrinologist and was told to see a dermatologist. When I made the appointment 3 months ago I had made a joke to my husband that by the time I was seen I wouldn't have any hair left. I chose Dr. Wolf because of her great reviews and there aren't many dermatologists in the area with good reviews. I'm pretty disappointed about the whole thing. Follow-up: I did get in to see Dr. Wolfe and I have to say the long wait and anxiety and dealing with the front desk is well worth it. I would give the front desk one star but Dr. Wolfe gets 5 stars. She diagnosed my problem that I had seen multiple doctors for and was unable to get answers. She patiently responded to all of my questions and worked with me to find a treatment plan that would work with my schedule. Did laser hair removal with Cheryl. She was awesome! I only use YAG b/c I have darker skin so the right laser is key. I've used the YAG laser in the past and had very good results. Cheryl was amazing! She was so good that I felt minimal discomfort. She's definitely an expert who knows what she's doing. She was professional and prompt. I highly recommend this office and certainly Cheryl for all your laser hair removal needs. read more

Dr. Wolfe didn't even examine my kids for eczema. She looked at them fully clothed and couldn't get out of the exam room fast enough. Subsequently, when I needed a letter of medical necessity for my child's eczema medication to submit to my insurance company, I called the office six times and was told each time that the doctor was too busy and she had "a lot of prescriptions" to go through. Seven weeks later I am told that there are several letters like mine on her desk and she'll get to them when she can but it will take time. The bureaucracy on top of the terrible patient care at this doctor's office is horrendous. The staff at reception were also rude when we checked in. Some customer service training would be helpful. I heard on more than one occasion how busy the staff and doctors are. This is not an excuse for their severe lack of professionalism and patient care. Don't waste your time with this medical "professional" and staff. This practice lacks the ability to provide quality patient care. read more

I am unable to write a review because the office cannot accommodate new patients. I called to schedule appointments for my 2 children in January and was given the only appointments available - 3 months in the future in April. As the date approached for the appointment, I realized that I was not going to be able to make the appointed date and time due to my work schedule, and called a week in advance to discuss a possible change. When asking if they could accommodate perhaps a Monday, I was told in a monotone voice that there is "absolutely nothing available until July. Would you like to cancel?" Actually during the conversation she mentioned cancelling several times. Rather than offer ANYTHING at all. I cancelled. Maybe Dr. Wolfe is good - I will never know. Right now, I don't care to know. I expect more from a doctor and the doctor's staff. read more

When a prospective new patient calls and is transferred to the answering machine during normal working hours, and told the staff "may" be in the office IF they have appointments, why would one want to use such a supplier for their personal health needs? Saw Dr Wolfe nearly 3 weeks ago. Had a biopsy, she said she'd call with the lab results. I called 1.5 wks later, found out results were in, was told she'd called me back, no call back. I just moved to this area one year ago and needed a good dermatologist. I am only 25years old but have a genetic condition that requires me to have several small precancerous moles removed each year. On top of that, I get these atrocious keloid scars from having the moles removed. The dermatogist I had growing up chopped me up pretty well. I've got two large scars that I will have to have revised by a plastic surgeon because of him. Dr. Wolfe suggested a plastic surgeon who would be happy to see me and would even consider making an insurance claim (plastic surgeons don't generally accept insurance) for the work. Dr. wolfe is very personable and even though she is always very busy, always tries to get all of the work done on me that she can in one visit, vs. bringing me back for a new visit each time I have to have something removed. Anyhoo.... I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND DR. WOLFE. The only drawbacks that I feel necessary to point out are #1: Her office is outdated and in a less-than-luxury shared medical building. The waiting room is not exactly appealing and did not give a good first impression. I'm so glad I stuck it out, though, because the medical care is especially worth it. #2: She is SOOOO busy that it is very difficult to get an appointment. I just called today (July 26) and the next appointment I could get in for was on September 21st. (nearly two whole months away). Dr. Wolfe is a very good doctor, please give her a try. read more

Doctor Wolfe is a fantastic dermatologist. She is personable, friendly, and always takes plenty of time to talk to you. I have been seeing her for about a year now, and I have also brought my daughter to see her. I would highly recommend her. The only drawback is that since she IS so good, she is also very busy and it is sometimes hard to get an appointment with her. However, despite her being busy, I have never had to wait long to see her, and the appointments never feel rushed. read more

Dr Kelly Wolfe is awesome but I left the practice after two years because it's impossible to get an appointment without a three month wait, even as an established patient. The office is also very poorly run and rundown (it might be clean, but it just LOOKS dirty). Staff is also pretty snarky. Last straw for me was having THEM cancel an appointment of mine and when I called back to reschedule it was another two month wait. Oddly, her dad always seems to have appointments available but I didn't care for him. I wanted him to look at a mole, and he took a quick look and immediately started sanitizing the area to remove it without even discussing it with me, which really rub me the wrong way. I am certainly likely to follow a doctor's recommendation, but I don't appreciate him jumping in to begin the mole removal process without even telling me what's going on or discussing it with me. I was also very put off due to overhearing a conversation between Dr and the front desk staff. A patient called in with an emergency issue and wanted an appointment that day or the next. Dr. Wolfe asked when the patient had last been into the office, and the staff told it had been almost two years since their last appointment with the practice. Dr Wolfe told them to tell the patient "no." While it's certainly the doctors prerogative to do that, I know that I would be really disappointed if I were the patient in that situation. Although you should certainly visit the dermatologist for a regular check ups, I don't think a two-year hiatus should be cause to dismiss someone with an emergency so quickly. I certainly would hope that wouldn't be the case for me, and it was one of the factors that made me switch to a new practice. read more
