Crisp white forces on the skyline rug

Thank you Ohio, thank you Skyline, and thank you Melanie. Came out here for work and received recommendation from a business client to come here since I asked where the chili is at. Pulled up to this location and was welcomed by Melanie and her crew. Crackers & hot sauce as a lil appetizer, a coney and chili cheese fries as my meal, with a side of Barq's red cream soda. For a fast food spot their service (at least Melanie and her team) was awesome, very welcoming. Almost felt like we were friends! I think if their fries were better (maybe crinkle cut or even if they had tater tots) my review would be a 5 star for sure. The chili is bomb but the fries could be improved. Definitely stop by and grab a coney and say what's up to Melanie if you're ever out here :)

It's been many many years since I have stopped for some Skyline Chilli but it's as good as I remembered! The food was good! The chain stores are nice and well kept. Tables and bathrooms were clean- a plus. Our server was awesome and very attentive.

Two hungry travelers walk in and grab some open stools at the counter. Service was immediate and so friendly. Within minutes two delicious plates of food appear before them and they are kind of dazzled by the efficient setup and the generous portions. The three-way was fabulous, full of flavor, and quite filling. The cheese was so good but more than I could eat which is rare for cheese. Highly recommend!

Obviously I hated it. Went to Cincinnatti for the Reds game on 7/6/24 and hoped to get Skyline at the park or in town. The ballpark does not have spaghetti. Dafuq? The two locations near the ballpark were closed. Double dafuq?? We headed south for Louisville which served as home for a couple weeks. Saw this as we were heading south and got to this location as fast I could get off the freeway. Delicious. FAST friendly service. Restaurant is clean and staff were all great. Wish I could remember our waitress's name.

My first time eating Cincinnati chili! I was with one of my colleague that is a local so talked him in to Skyline. I got it 5 ways. He got it 3 way and also ordered 2 Chile cheese dogs. It was quite a pile of food on both our plates. There was a long silence while we both enjoyed inhaling our food. I enjoyed the meal. I would say it's my favorite combination but it was good. The restaurant reminded me of a fast food joint with traditional booths and decor. Service was good. No issues there. My colleague said there are those love it or those that hate it. I think I'm somewhere in between. It wasn't my favorite meal but I wouldn't mind it on my occasional visit to the area. Thanks.

This must be an acquired taste. It wasn't for me. They had their grand opening and had $2.99…read moreoriginal sandwich. The bread is funky - tastes a bit like rye, but it's white (or wheat), the "sauce" is horrid, and the entire thing has kind of a dense quality that doesn't quite hit the mark. Again, probably an acquired taste, something some people like, but I suspect it's a select few. It's WORK to get through this thing, and you regret eating any of it finished, or in my case, given up and tossed the remainder you didn't eat. Thankfully, I wasn't a winner of a free sandwich every week for 52 weeks as part of the grand opening celebration. Nothing about this is a celebration. It is a shame really, because the surrounding area shows promise in development, you should pick another restaurant nearby if Schlotzky's is not your thing. Now I know why the one in Florence closed years ago.

Not wrong, but different than we are used to. Employees were kind. The time it took to prepare our food was reasonable, especially on a Sunday afternoon. Now the only reason I am giving a 4 star instead of 5: this location has Cinnabon. The counter appears to have Cinnabon items under a warmer but this was misleading. My churros were hard, stale, and cold. Based on the menu pictures, I expected it to come with icing dip. We left and I realized I did not receive icing. I should have went back in to complain about the taste but didn't. My husband got a cookie sandwich with icing in the middle. Assuming this was also a Cinnabon product, he said this was very good. Conclusion: I will definitely return for the sandwiches.

While traveling in northern Kentucky, he stumbled upon one of these places, The Farmstand Market & Cafe. Farmstand offers comfort food with a farm-to-table focus served in a cozy space with a bar and attached market. We started with the Goetta Hanky Panky Dip. This was made with cheesy goetta, bagel chips, pumpernickel bread, and light rye served in a cast iron skillet. The dip had a good sausage flavor with salt and some light spice while being cheesy, creamy, and full of flavor. The bagel chips were very crispy but were not served warm. The pumpernickel and rye were dry. Each complimented the dip, adding texture to the bite. My wife had the Reuben Sandwich. This sandwich came with sliced corned beef, homemade Thousand Island, pickled pig sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese on light rye with bacon ranch pasta salad. The pasta salad was cooked spot on while also being creamy. The bacon added crunch and saltiness to the salad. The rye had a great toast, and the Thousand Island was tangy and creamy. The pastrami was dry but had a good salty flavor. The sauerkraut was crunchy and had a good sour flavor cutting through the salty meat and the sweet dressing. The cheese was gooey and nutty and added flavor to each bite. I sampled the French dip sandwich and Mulligatawny soup. This was prepared with a sliced top round with provolone on a French roll. The soup was prepared with rice, chicken, carrots, onions, celery, lentils and spices. The chicken was very tender, the rice was cooked well, and the vegetables added texture to the rice. The soup was flavorful, had a wonderful aroma, and had a good salt content. The top round was thin and offered good flavor and chew. The roll was fresh and had a good chew paired with the ooey and gooey cheese with an excellent buttery flavor. The au jus had good flavor but was slightly salty, which overpowered it. Farmstand offers grilled cheeses, hot sandwiches, burgers, salads, appetizers, soups and main entrees. They also serve beer and have a full bar. The servers were pleasant and knowledgeable. The Fat Man says that The Farmstand Market & Cafe is Fat Man Approved with 1 chin.
