    Pork Cachapa
    Joshua R.

Saw this on Yelp and decided to give it a try - was not disappointed. Our waitress was very kind and answered all of our questions about the menu. The Pork Cachapa was very tasty. I might try it with a different protein next time, but it was delicious and filling! I didn't expect it to be sweet, but I kind of liked it! Definitely something interesting to sample when you live in Podunk, Kentucky! The atmosphere is really cool - they have some barrels with seats around them in addition to "normal" tables. We'll be back (with friends)!

Tried this place for the first time by DoorDash and Im planning to go to the restaurant as soon as possible because it was that good. Right from the start, if you are looking for a extensive mega extreme menu you'll be disappointed, the menu is pretty small but I found it perfect, I am not a fan of 200 dishes on a menu. Its a Venezuelan place, the food is fairly simple but delicious. I'm a big believer on the saying when it comes to cooking 'simple is better' and this restaurant proves it. I am from Puerto Rico and the way that they made the all meats reminded me of the island so I became a Huge fan right out of the bat. Got to say that the dough for everything felt made by hand, from the empanadas to the tequeños... Now we ordered a little of everything and left descriptions on the pics. The Pasteles are small wheat empanadas, they are pretty much the same as the regular empanadas but with a little difference on the texture of the dough and they are smaller, the tequeños where really good, again simple but delicious and the patacon was great as well. Pretty much everything comes with a garlicy sauce and another one which I think is a mix from cilantro and avocado, both really good. If you are in the area and want a quick bite give them a chance!

This place came recommended from a friend of mine who is Venezuelan! We were so excited to finally try it, after passing by multiple time. The place was small & clean. The staff was attentive & kind! We ordered a variety of food to try & were not disappointed. We tried an arepa, tequenos with guava marmalade, and a cachapa. They were all delicious, but our favorite was the cachapa! We absolutely will eat here again. Don't forget to grab some fresh fruit dessert on the way out next door at fruit land!

I have been to Manny's Cabin twice. The Venezuelan food is phenomenal. They have the best arepas that I, a white foodie guy, have ever tasted. The prices are higher than I would have expected for the location but the food quality more than makes up for it. The staff both times was very friendly. If you are looking for something different, unique, and off the beaten path then I highly recommend Manny's.

Excellent empanada and I would never think to get a hot dog here but I tried it and probably the best hot dog I have ever had. Highly recommend.

I had the Chicken and Beef Empanadas along with the Fried Plantains. All of it was so good. The Garlic Sauce was very good also. Please give these people a try! You will not be disappointed! And always support small businesses.

Hell, we're still sussing out the Colombian vs. Venezuelan arepa rivalry. But the arepa pabellon at Arrechissimo (this apparently means "awesome" in Venezuelan Spanish) wins the prize for us so far, and it's not even close. Even if it initially seems expensive at $13.50, it is a near-miraculous little food item, regardless of one's knowledge about arepas generally. It's perfect in its simplicity and greater than the sum of its parts: Wonderful white-corn flatbread style rolls with a great balance of fluffy and crisp, flavorful shredded beef, fried plantains, black beans, and melted mild cheese. Add the spicy cilantro salsa, which is just about perfect in its own right. By the way, despite its compact size, the arepa pabellon is plenty filling. Arrechissimo is just a food stand with maybe four outdoor tables. The setting in quiet Deer Park is pleasant and comfortable enough, when the weather is reasonably nice. Unfortunately for us, Arrechissimo is far enough away that carryout is not a suitable option during those too-many months when Cincinnati weather is not so nice. Owner Javier is about as welcoming and friendly a host as there is in the metro.

We didn't realize that when we decided to go. However, they do have 3 or 4 outdoor tables. Right beside the tables are very sturdy extendable umbrellas that they can open to shade you whenever you want. Their food is handmade, fresh and delicious. Got a vegetarian bowl with rice, beans, plantains, lettuce, and avocado slices accompanied by 2 small arepas. The arepas and empanadas seemed to be made from the same dough and it's a good thing because it is extremely mouth-watering - yum! Kudos to the owner. He is the nicest man - friendly, and really cares about his customers.

!!! NEW FAVORITE RESTAURANT ALERT!!!…read more Wow. This is legitimately the closest I have been to tearing up at a meal. My husband discovered this place when he was perusing on Google Maps looking for something else. This was the happiest accident and I could not be happier we visited. I am from Venezuela and this is place is legit. They have foods that other Venezuelan places in the area don't offer, and varieties that are authentic and far better (the empanadas!!). I got the mandocas (plantain and corn horseshoe-shaped fritters), cheese and potato pastelito (like a cross between a pizza pocket and a pierogi, but better in every way), arepa pabellon, and a beef empanada. Everything was sublime. These empanadas are different than ones you may be used to, since they are corn based instead of wheat based, making them many levels better than you can imagine. It was very nostalgic experience. Even without the nostalgia, the food is that good, and so worthwhile heading over here. There's so much more on the menu I wanted to try. Guess I'll have to come back! The staff was wonderful, and the atmosphere inside was joyful, with beautiful murals. Highly, highly, highly recommend!
