First of all, my family and I really like Skyline. Today we went and ordered a threeway and two black bean burritos. The portions were super small. I'm disappointed because Skyline isn't cheap so you should at least get a nice portions. The manager did offer for us to come back but, I decline. I stopped in today and my server I believe was Katelyn and she took my order. After taking my order I went to the Men's restroom then came out and thereafter my order was brought to my table. As I was eating my food, where I was sitting in the restaurant I noticed a Middletown Police cruiser pulled and parked across the parking lot in front of Donatos Pizza. My first inclination the Officer was eating her lunch/taking a break or maybe there was an issue at Donatos. But I continued with my meal at the same time I thought it was odd. I believe I was there in the restaurant for a good 45 minutes. As I was finishing up my meal I came to the realization that one of the workers (Skyline) called the Middletown Police Department and reported that I was a suspicious customer??? Then I remembered when the server initially took my order when I arrived another employee went outside and was talking on her phone....again I don't know if she called or another employee did. Well after I was finished I went to pay my check and after I got my check, As I walked to exit and was outside the restaurant the police officer then left the parking lot. I didn't do anything wrong I was courteous to my server and the rest of the staff there. And of course I was the only African-American in there. It's very unfortunate that members of this establishment feel that every man or woman who happens to be a certain race gets racially profiled like I did. I intend to contact their corporate office know about this. I know that this Skyline is a franchisee and I will never return to this one again and will tell everyone I know about my experience. read more

I eat at the skyline in Middletown, at least once a twice a month and have been eating there for probably about 30 years I have known the family and they are very friendly And the food is always consistent. If you like Cincinnati chili, you'll love skyline. read more

My son & I walked in and found a seat(it wasn't crowded) around 1:30 pm. Our server took our order quickly and the food came out soon after. My son had a regular 4-way and a cheese Coney while I ordered a bowl of chili with beans, onions & cheese. It was tasty & served hot with copious amounts of cheese. My main complaint is the price...it's now $2.05 for a cheese Coney! Definitely not worth it! The atmosphere is quiet like a morgue in this location(no televisions). MMMMM SKYLINE!!!!!!! I'm from the Cincinnati area, so I was raised to LOVE Skyline Chili! In fact I used to hate it as a child and then one day I had it again and fell in love with it. My choice is to go with a chili cheese coney vs. the 3-way, 4-way etc. Skyline quite possibly has the best cheese, and if you are in OH you can buy the cheese, as well as the canned or frozen chili in the grocery stores. This specific location is one of my favorites. It is about 5 minutes away from my childhood home. A nice family run establishment. I have to give them major props for accommodating my rather large, loud and sometimes messy family. Every year my 3 siblings and I stroll into town with the spouses and children. We invade this skyline, somehow we manage to get all 13 of us around the table to enjoy a meal. The staff is absolutely fabulous when at first sight we might be a bit overwhelming. They are friendly, pleasant, and on top of it! Love it and can't wait for my next trip back to Middletown in December! read more

I love Skyline Chili and that's the only reason this gets 4 stars. Compared to other Skylines, this is a terrible location. The chili and cheese portions are on the small side and they don't serve you crackers consistently when you sit down. You have to ask for hot sauce and napkins as they aren't already on the table. All in all it feels like the franchise owners are very cheap, and therefore it's not a very inviting location. However, it's better than the alternative (no Skyline or even worse, Goldstar) so I put up with it. read more

Probably the best Skyline there is. The owners are always fast and friendly. They keep the place clean which is more important than the quality of the food being served at any restaurant. The food is always great. It has a different taste than other skylines that multiple people I've spoken with agree on. The taste is much better even though there's nothing wrong with other Skylines. read more

It's a Skyline just like any other. Been owned by the same family for years and is a clean place for a good quick cincinnati meal. However... I'm not sure if it's just a recent thing or if it has something to do with the newer waitresses but the workers are quite racist. I don't level this accusation lightly. I eat at this establishment often since I like Skyline but recently I constantly hear racist comments and remarks from the staff. Never directly to a customer mind you but right as they leave or as they are entering. It's disgusting and I can;t bring myself to eat here any longer. TLDR: Brown people, spend your money elsewhere. They won't tell you they don't like you and as we know, that's the worst kind of racism. read more

I love Skyline chili enough to eat it multiple times every week. I live less than 5 minutes from this location and have only been there three times in the past 6 years that I've lived in Middletown. I routinely drive 15 minutes up the highway to frequent another location because this one is THAT AWFUL. The servers will just stand there and watch as you try to get their attention for refills. I asked for a lemon with my tea and was given a packet of lemon juice. Their portions are very undersized and their prices are above the other locations. I emailed corporate after my last horrible experience and they said that a manager from that location would follow up. Even the corporate office seemed taken aback by the fact that the manager NEVER called me or took the time to review my feedback. It is well known in Middletown to avoid eating at this Skyline if at all possible. The one time that I thought I would get my family's food to-go to avoid the service, I wasn't given any cheese for my 3-way (which is cheese, chili, and spaghetti). When I went back in after realizing this in the car, they insisted on charging me close to $5 additional for cheese that they neglected to give me and should have been included. I will never go back to this one and I'm certainly not the only person who feels this way. I wish that corporate would insist on new management or close it down altogether. read more

Food taste like it says, skyline. The service could definitely use improvement. Walked in and sat down, no one greeted me and my friends when walked in the door or acknowledged. Sat for about 15minutes and then the waitress finally came over and got our order for food and drinks. She then waited to bring out our drinks with the food. It wouldn't have been so bad if they were busy. Only 3 other tables were full besides ours. The only reason why I rated it 4 stars, is because Skyline is so darn good. BUT! at this location the portions is and has always has been so small. I work less than a mile from this location, but most of the time I would travel several miles away and catch a different location. I usually don't make a mess when I eat at Skyline, but when I eat at this location there no chance because you have to send a search party out to look for the cheese. read more
