We're visiting from California and decided to jump out of a plane, this was the best experience and I definitely recommend it. The owner and employee are super tentative to any questions I had!

If it's your first time, this is good experience. There are student and group discounts and you also get a free tshirt. I would take away one star as it's a bit far and had trouble finding the place and getting Back as I don't drive. But the experience was amazing. Instructors are super friendly and if you are experienced then well it's the best for you.

Without a doubt a fun, exciting, and professional outfit. From the time I arrived and greeted the pilot, my tandem partner, and especially the receptionist I was made to feel as if I were family. I can completely say that I recommend them, and I purchased the VIP package at 13k foot jump and full video and pictures. Live a little....give these guys a call and see what life experiences you haven't had yet!!

Lo was absolutely amazing!! Sweetest girl I've ever met! I don't remember my instructors name but he was the best! I definitely want to come back!! I highly recommend buying the film at the end of your jump. Everyone was very friendly and helpful! 10/10 :)

I absolutely LOVED my first skydiving experience with Skydive Houston! Kipp was my instructor. He helped calm my nerves with his confidence about his abilities, and sense of humor. Perfect activity for a birthday weekend!

We had a wonderful time at Sky Dive Houston. The instructors were good and very humorous, we especially liked the owner. This was my first time sky diving and I would do it again. Thanks Sky Dive Houston!

Life long friends jump together.

With a crew so lively and experienced, it's really hard to feel nervous about jumping with blue…read moreskies!! It was the first jump ever for my fiance (whom I proposed to after landing) and I, and these guys really made it a special moment for us! Very accommodating when it comes to special occasions like proposals, with before-after and in air interviews all filmed with great quality. I flew with Omar, super friendly and really made this first experience a memorable one! I plan to fly with these guys again, definitely a great group to fly with.

Omar, Bob, and Phil were great instructors. Bob instructed our group of 8 and its was informative…read moreand very entertaining as well. You will have to fill out a super long waiver that will release the company from liability if you are injured or die, but that's standard for jumping out of a plane above 10,000ft. The plane is quite small so jumps will be done in pairs of 2 (2participants + 2instructors) and every trip is about 30 minutes (15-20 minutes climbing to the desired altitude to drop, ~1 minutes of free-falling, and ~10 minutes of floating back down to land). During the whole process from flying in the plane, during the dive, and after completion, the instructors ask how you're doing and help calm you down. The scariest part about the experience will probably be looking at the ground as you are flying up into the sky but once you reach 10,000ft altitude, you won't be able to see the ground anymore so the natural heart dropping response you get when you look down at the floor from a cliff or 3+ stories high disappears or at least greatly diminishes. The initial free-fall for me was scary but since you only feel ~1G of force at most, it doesn't feel as scary as a drop from a really high roller coaster (I definitely think roller coasters are more scary, esp. those that only keep you in with a bat that goes over your thighs). After the parachute deploys, it really tugs on your harness so be sure to arrange and secure your crotch well or it will hurt like no other. My crotch harness was very tight so the initial deployment didn't hurt, but the floating wasn't as pleasant since I was basically suspended with all the pressure at my crotch. Bob will help you situate your crotch straps to your thighs so it feels more like you are sitting on the harness after the parachute has safely deployed and it'll feel SOOOO much better. Also, Omar helped me take off my goggles and held onto my glasses so I could get the full view without the goggles blurring it which was great. The best part for me was after the parachute deploys and the instructor (Omar, Bob, or Phil for us) does spins in the air. Omar and I only did about 4 spins, but take my advice and ask them to spin as much as they want because you only get to be in the air for so long so make the most of it. P.S. Don't worry about screaming because the air will muffle it and you won't even know you're screaming. Also, NEVER CLOSE YOUR EYES or it'll be a waste :)

If you want the best views of the island I can't recommend Skydive Galveston enough! I did the…read more14,000' jump and it was magical. I can't shut up about it and as such have found out even locals don't know this exists on the island! You'll fly out of Scholes in an adorable red Cessna, enjoy the flight past the ship channel, take a right to take in the entireisland view, and before you know it, the real magic begins. The team is fantastic and will make sure you have the time of your life before peacefully setting down on the soft sand at Pocket Park 1 by Woody's. Pro (amateur!) tip: buy alllll the pix/video. You won't regret it - freefall goes so quickly it is a blur by the next day & watching the video will bring it right back! Tip two - have cash on hand tip tip your diver!! They have specials on their website and Groupon. To the amazing team at Skydive Galveston - y'all need merch!!! I'd 100% have bought a shirt, hoodie, cap, etc! To all the scaredy-cats.. I am afraid of heights (to some, natural extent) but this is different- the entire thing was incredibly peaceful, from takeoff to landing. Oh, and I just turned 55 and am in thoroughly mediocre shape. Do the thing, people, whatever that may be. We only get one go at life.

This was the absolute most unprofessional, scariest service I have ever received!!! The guy that…read moresaid he was the owner "LEE" was so unprofessional and so DRUGGED UP it was scary! I have called and left so many messages, emails and even texts for the "real owners" Tammy and Simon Walton to please get in touch with me concerning the "safety" of their business but no one has yes to answer any of my messages so it leaves me to go to this platform. I also called the FAA to make a complaint about the concern that the guy in the office, Lee, who also claims to be the owner about Lee's behavior and obvious drug use. He was extremely unprofessional, blurred speech, kept taking big snorts through his nose every 15 seconds that it obvious what he was doing when he kept disappearing every 10-15 minutes! He screamed at me, threatened to "put his hands on somebody" (it was only me and my daughter standing there) cursed me out, called names (bitch to be exact), he was making no sense! My complaint was the lack of communication about the jump! This has been a dream of my daughters and he made it out to be a funny thing that they made us wait after we drove 1 hour and 40 minutes so she could jump just to be told oh it's too late, we can't jump. Meanwhile a poor lady was waiting there 3 hours with no communication as well. Long story short I wanted my daughter to get her refund because we were unsure of when we could rebook. This guy went insane! He screamed, said he was in debt for $3,400.00 because of us, said he has to go to work and deal with people like us while his mom is home dying, he said he wasn't a vending machine when I asked why he couldn't just let us know sooner because we are not the experts, they are so they knew it was gonna be too late because it was 15 mins before sunset, he blamed it on the pilot and screamed outside the office that the pilot was a pussy and if it was up to him we could have gone and said y'all going there and call him a pussy. We were unaware of this legality. So all o said was you could have communicated that to us! He went berserk! So unprofessional and his behavior mimics the behavior of a user! Slurred speech, poor coordination, erratic behavior, and the sniffling of his nose every 15 seconds. He was unprofessional! He absolutely should not be in charge of sending someone up in a plane to jump out of showing these signs of behavior! His name is Lee ? Even the one skydive instructor was at a loss for words. Most unprofessional organization I have ever been in! There was more just too much to type! AVOID THIS PLACE!
