There were kids and they were well-mannered. They have a champagne and wine bar here - though not as nice as many other first class lounges, it was a nice offering and the brands were very nice too. They also offered a fun bloody mary bar which was self-service. This was really interesting as they offered so many things one could put in their bloody mary. This location is spacious like the other flagships but often has a bunch of people in it. The reason Soho rates above the rest is they gate access to One World Emerald customers only so it's a much more relaxed and considered space. This one allows in Sapphire as well so there's a bunch of bodies in here.

He noted on the reservation that it was our five-year anniversary, called ahead before our dinner to confirm the restaurant was aware, and even checked with the host stand when we arrived. We weren't asking for anything extravagant--just the kind of small acknowledgment that many restaurants happily provide for guests celebrating a milestone. Nothing happened. There was no congratulations, no acknowledgment from our server, no candle with dessert, no handwritten note, nothing. We even ordered dessert ourselves, and it arrived exactly as if it were any ordinary Tuesday night. The service only added to the disappointment. Our server was curt, rarely checked on us despite our ordering two appetizers, two entrées, dessert, and several rounds of drinks, and never made us feel welcomed or cared for. For a restaurant positioning itself as a destination for special occasions, the level of hospitality simply wasn't there. Unfortunately, the food didn't make up for it. The staff was friendly and attentive. I almost passed on trying this place because I saw a review mentioning rude staff and racist comments, but I'm really glad I gave them a chance. The majority of the kitchen staff was Hispanic, and one of the servers was as well, so I highly doubt those comments are accurate. The staff may be a little more mature/old-school, but they were absolutely not rude. BTW, my husband is Mexican, and everyone was very kind and polite to us. If you appreciate a full cup of coffee (they actually come around and top it off often!) and good, simple diner food, give them a try. Nice to see places like this still exist!
