I am out of words and really don't even know where to begin. I contacted Skybar Construction for an initial estimate a few months ago to see how much it would cost me to do some outside work, a new bathroom, flooring throughout my house and all new paint. I had interviewed about 4 other contractors. Kelli & Anthony came by as the contractors with a designer to take a look at my project. I was immediately impressed with their knowledge and thoroughness. They had a professional demeanor that no other contractor had that came by. While their estimate wasn't the lowest that I had received, it was the most realistic price wise, work wise, and time wise. It just made sense. By the end of my first meeting I had an idea of project details, design, timelines, permit information, and expectations. I was immediately impressed and without hesitation was ready to hire Skybar Construction. Kelli & Anthony are personable, honest, and committed to their excellence of their work. A few years back I had another contractor that lied about their license, took too much money up front, and didn't show up like promised. My trust was broken, but Skybar Construction changed my mind on that. I was contacted everyday that the workers were at my house, and they even came by to oversee the project a few times a week. This company is dedicated to improving lives and the comfort of living. I have other projects in the near future and will not look any further than Skybar Construction. I highly recommend Skybar Construction without hesitation! They are honest, have morals as contractors, and ethical. read more

When starting this process, we went through several contractors, for our kitchen remodel. I chose Skybar contraction based on Bay Area business owner, the connection I felt when meeting Anthony and his wife. They didn't send some Salesmen come out to my house. The owner Anthony and his wife Kelly were just amazing. Very hands-on every step of the way. She called me back and scheduled the appointment. Anthony came out to give me a free quote. They worked with my budget. I can't say this was the easiest thing I've ever done. We lived in the house while Construction was happening. Not suggested..lol but every step of the way, if there was any problems that came up Kelly and Anthony jumped into action. With one change order, the budget was right on track no surprises or hidden fees and the timeline was perfect. Anthony was very involved with his project manager Luis to make sure that the project stayed on task and we met our eight week timeline. I would definitely recommend Skybar Construction for any job you need.. so much so, we are now in the middle of a two bathroom remodel. They really do make you feel like you're part of the family, i've enjoyed working with his project manager, Luis very easy to talk to and is always there to answer any questions I have. And I call him a lot, lol Will keep you posted on the outcome of the bathroom remodel. Five stars in my book. This family run business is. Top notch. read more

There are not enough words that I can express to the Yelp community regarding this company. I was burned by many many contractors in the past and I was hesitant on hiring a company. I interviewed 5 different companies until Anthony came to my house for an estimate. We sat down for an hour and right away I had a feeling that it would be a great fit. Before seeing their beautiful work and professional website, I had a feeling that they would pull of the job the way it's supposed to be done. Anthony came in very professional, answered all of my questions, and gave me a direct price without playing any games. His wife Kelli helped me pick out all of the tile and shower fixtures. It was such a breath of fresh air working with a team that does it all. The guys that worked on our house were all part of their company and nobody was sub contracted out which was very important for me. They were always on time each day and let me know the schedule the night before. I understand construction companies are busy and that's what I appreciated about them, I knew when they were coming and the time frame of my job. I would definitely recommend them to anyone I know, I already have to two of my neighbors. If you're looking for a company to give you create communication, details, and skill you found the right page. I can't wait to do more work with them. Next step is my kitchen and we will be starting that end of July. read more

As first-time homeowners, we carefully interviewed several contractors in search of the right team for our home renovation. Our project involved wall removals, kitchen renovation, new flooring, the installation of a kitchenette, painting, the addition of recessed lighting, and the enlargement of a few windows. From our initial consultation, Anthony immediately stood out due to his expertise, professionalism, and attention to detail. Kelli was prompt and thorough in providing a clear, detailed estimate and walked us through the contract with great care. From the very beginning, we felt genuinely supported -- more like we were working with family than a contractor. Given our limited timeline, Anthony was incredibly accommodating and began demolition the very next day -- an impressive and much-appreciated effort. As with any renovation, unexpected issues arose, but Anthony always approached them with a calm, solution-oriented mindset, offering cost-effective options without compromising quality. His ability to navigate challenges with confidence helped ease our anxiety, especially considering the age and complexity of our home. Anthony and his team made what could have been a stressful first renovation feel smooth and manageable. We are truly grateful for their dedication and look forward to partnering with Anthony, Kelli, and their team on our future projects. read more

i don't know why my review disappeared but I came back to message them for another project and saw that my first review was gone. So happy with the finished product. I'm not the one to have a positive mind set off the bat with contractors. My husband and I had a bad experience 5 years ago and were hesitant on hiring any contractor. We looked on Yelp for some time. We came across a few contractors that also had great reviews, but something set Anthony apart from the rest. It was the initial phone call that said it all. Anthony came off truthful, warm, and professional. He set the same tone all the way through the project. The crew showed up every day on time, cleaned up after themselves and were always very polite. Construction is messy, and not the funnest adventure to get into but Skybar Construction made it seamless. I also want to thank Anthonys wife Kelli for her kindness and professionalism. She helped me with all of the design. Choosing tile is overwhelming, but Kelli was there every step of the way. I recommend this company to anyone and everyone in the Bay Area, and you're welcome to come see my home (with a mask on over course) whenever you please, as an example of their work and craftsmanship! read more

Bar is an excellent contractor :knowledgeable, professional, and extremely easy to work with. From the very beginning, he communicated clearly, explained the process in detail, and gave me real confidence that the project was in good hands. I had a difficult experience with my previous contractor, who lacked the proper knowledge and skills to install the deck correctly and didn't fully understand the materials needed to finish the job properly. When I reached out to Bar, he responded immediately. He quickly assessed the situation, understood exactly what needed to be done, and knew right away which materials and steps were required to complete the deck the right way. Throughout the project, Bar was responsive, organized, and proactive. He even identified an uneven stair issue left behind by the previous contractor, explained the problem clearly, and took care of it without hesitation. Thanks to him, I didn't have to worry about anything -- he handled everything professionally and confidently. I highly recommend Bar to anyone looking for a reliable, skilled, contractor. If there were a 6-star rating, I would gladly give it. read more

I recently had the pleasure of working with Skybar Construction on rebuilding our second story deck, and I am happy to share my experience. The team, led by David and Anthony, delivered an exceptional product that has truly met our needs for an outdoor space. We chose Trex as the material for our deck, and I must admit, I was initially skeptical about its performance and aesthetics. However, Skybar Construction's work has changed my perception. The Trex material not only looks fantastic but also promises durability and low maintenance, which I'm very pleased to have been swayed by during the decision making. The construction process was seamless, thanks to the high level of communication and commitment from the Skybar team. They were attentive to our needs and preferences, and their craftsmanship is reflected in the final product. The deck meets our needs perfectly and has quickly become a favorite spot for relaxation and joy. In summary, I cannot recommend Skybar Construction highly enough. If you're considering a deck project or any project, trust that this team will deliver results that exceed your expectations. read more

We chose Skybar Construction for a complete home renovation in Los Angeles, and we couldn't be happier with our decision! Living in Los Angeles but often being away in San Mateo, we were initially very nervous about managing such a large project from a distance. However, the Skybar team turned it into an amazing and effortless experience for us. From the very first meeting, the team was professional, attentive, and organized. Their scheduling was precise, and throughout the entire process, they kept every commitment, making the whole experience much easier and more enjoyable for us. In terms of pricing, we received quotes from several companies, and Skyber's price was fair and competitive compared to the other offers we got in the market. They paid attention to the smallest details, and we never felt that they were cutting corners on materials or quality. Following the impressive results of the renovation, we decided to continue with them and start a new project to remodel our outdoor pool. We're excited to see the final result and are confident they'll do an outstanding job once again. read more

I hired Skybar Construction to do my master bathroom remodel, my guest bathroom remodel, kitchen remodel and the accent wall in my living room. Just amazing professionalism and workmanship from the start all the way to the last day of the job. My husband and I had several contractors come by to our house and we had the best first impression off the bat! It was a huge investment from our side and we had so many questions from the beginning and Anthony and Kelli answered all of them throughly and to the point. There was never beating around the bush or unanswered questions. The project took a good few weeks and they always checked on us to make sure that we were okay with the process, and most importantly they kept our space clean!! I came to Yelp in search of finding a contractor for my fence. I reached out to three different contractors with good reviews including Skybar. I got two estimates before Anthony came to my house. Anthony was the third estimate and I chose him for a few reasons. Anthony was very professional and explained to us in detail how to build a fence from A-Z! I feel like I can build a fence today on my own. Even through the process he explained to me about the specific material he used and why he used it, I was appreciative for his patience. All of my questions were answered and I had a lot haha, I thank him for his patience. They had very fair prices that can't compete these days. I wish Anthony and Kelli, his wife, good luck on their future endeavors in their business. They deserve it for all of their hard work and I can say today I got my for life contractor! For any projects that I have in my house after bad experiences with other contractors. Thank you Anthony and Kelli! read more

We called/interviewed several companies who required i take videos and photos on their app which was so complicated! Anthony and Kelli came by and I was warmly greeted, they right away put me at ease. They didn't have complicated requirements. They were very straight forward and knew exactly what I was looking to have done. The basic remodel was to upgrade my kitchen and bathroom. When we started the remodel they were very professional from the start. They covered everything and explained how everything was going to go. The process was smooth and everything we expected. Any other future projects will only be done with Skybar Construction. They left such a great impression on myself and my family. I highly recommend their service. It's been awhile since my wife and I have decided to remodel our kitchen. We've been exploring materials and other companies services, after few months of searching we had a recommendation through a friend on Skybar construction. I have to say that I'm not that easy to sell to, but from the first meeting with Anthony we had a really good connection and he understood our vision and had a few adjustments to make things happen the way we want. As much as we tried to break it separately to labor and material, we realised that it would be the same with the company just much less of a headache haha. During the process, plans, permits, timeline, materials or any other questions we had Anthony was there for us. Don't waste your time on others :) Thank you Skybar construction for your amazing job and service read more
