Initially everything was going smoothly; the food came out promptly etc. But then when the mains were due to come out, there was a hefty delay and other tables received their orders before us who placed ours before them. Then ours came out in drips and drabs. I figure the waitress might have forgotten to place our order, however, before we got upset that this was taking so long, they already offered us a round of complimentary drinks. When the food eventually did come out, it was all delicious. I must say, some of the items are a little pricey for what you get, but the taste made up for it. Their cheesecake was one of the very best I've had, but looked different to the pics on social media, and was pricey for the small size. When we went to pay the bill, they took 10% off also to make up for the inconvenience, which goes a long way with me. The good will they showed us, meant that they were genuinely sorry, and I'm very happy to go back again. I love their varied menu, and again, everything was really tasty. I loved the decor too, and parking was easy enough. I think overall, it's a great place for dinner with friends or family and though they got quite busy, it wasn't excessively noisy, which I also like. Happy to recommend eating here, as it became a good experience overall.

As I mentioned, it can be a bit on the pricey side, but there are sometimes special deals on offer that make it a much more attractive option for the tight of wallet. For example, there are often school holiday deals that make it cheaper for the under 18s to bowl. There's also a family special where two adults and two kids can get a game up until 6pm for $40, which isn't a bad deal, really. If neither apply, you must give this place at least 3 stars. Sure, this place may not seem as fancy as other establishments, but it deserves reputable marks. It is reminiscent of many other eateries I have been to that leave me feeling quite content after my meal and experience. This place definitely was consistent towards that. It is crowded-looking when you first walk inside. Fortunately, they have plenty of seating on the other end. In no way does this place look empty though. I can imagine how busy this place gets on other nights. I notice more dishes on the menu lean towards Italian. They had so many kinds of risotto. Unfortunately, their wine selection, although delicious, was lacking. But I can attribute that to my own venturing as this place wouldn't necessarily be the headquarters for wine enthusiasts. I tried the Tim Tam cake, the Oreo cake, and another one I can't remember the name of. The cakes were dry and tasted un-fresh, as if they'd been sitting in that window all week. Because I came here and ate desserts, I really cannot say anything about their food. But it was loud, there was poor service, and bad desserts. Well, if you are underdressed you're more likely to enjoy a night in the car park but if you're overdressed then you'll be fine to get in. The food is pretty decent too with reasonable prices and fresh flavours. I hear the desserts here are amazing although I haven't yet had the pleasure of trying them for myself. The car park is pretty big although for busy nights on the weekend you will be hard pressed to get a spot. I recommend arriving a little early just in case. The problem (as was found a few years ago) was that when a bar is run by a student association, certain things can go wrong and it is forced to close (the year before I started uni). The plus side of this, though, is that when it reopened with a new fit-out, new plan, new name and a whole new set of clientele (ok, so when a new bar opened where the old one was), the students protect it and flock to it with a kind of defensive fervour. Drinks are cheap, cider is on tap, service is pretty good (not the fastest, but the queues are often long), and they even do cocktails if you're feeling the need for something fancy. It's not quiet. Don't go here for a quiet afternoon beer. Just sayin'
