On January 3, 2026, I visited Sky Zone of Bowie with my son and his friend. My intention was simply to pay for their visit to the facility. I did not knowingly enroll either child in an ongoing membership, nor do I recall knowingly authorizing Sky Zone to charge my bank account approximately $75 every month thereafter. Following that visit, however, recurring monthly charges began appearing on my account. I subsequently learned that memberships apparently had been established for both my son and his friend. This is particularly concerning because I would never knowingly enroll another person's child in a recurring membership or accept an ongoing financial obligation for that child. My bank records reflect the following charges: February 3, 2026 - $74.76 March 3, 2026 - $74.76 April 3, 2026 - $74.76 May 3, 2026 - $74.76 June 3, 2026 - $74.74 July 3, 2026 - $74.76 August 3, 2026 - $74.76 It appears that the monthly amount represents charges associated with two children, at approximately $36-$37 per child per month. I only take my son to Sky Zone periodically. I had no reason to intentionally purchase recurring memberships for two children, particularly when one of those children is not mine. Nor was I presented with any conversation regarding obtaining a membership to get a 17-dollar discount! I was charged $72.58 for visit for two kids with a military discount. If I had been given a 17 dollar discount this would have made it a lesser amount. Conversation With General Manager After discovering the recurring charges, I spoke with the General Manager, Monti, and requested an explanation and documentation of my authorization. Monti explained that I may have enrolled in the memberships in order to receive a discount and stated that customers sometimes elect to do this. I explained that this explanation does not make sense in my circumstances because I ALWAYS use my military benefits when discounts are available. I would have had no reason to intentionally establish two recurring memberships merely to obtain a discount for a 17-dollar single visit. I would love to have seen the transaction for this date to see where 17 dollars was deducted from the bill. More importantly, I do not recall knowingly agreeing to or authorizing recurring memberships. I asked him for the text message that I would have had to receive and sign and he stated, you would have to do a membership to receive the text message. Monti further explained that, during the enrollment process, I would have received an electronic communication on my phone and would have been required to electronically acknowledge or sign an agreement. I specifically requested that Sky Zone provide the documentation demonstrating my affirmative authorization, including my electronic signature or other record showing that I knowingly agreed to recurring monthly charges. The documentation shown or provided to me did not contain my signature. I also searched my phone records and messages from January 2026 and have been unable to locate the communication that I was told I would have received as part of the enrollment process. When I asked the manager to provide the original electronic communication allegedly sent to me, I was told that I would have to go through the enrollment process again in order to receive such a message. Recreating the enrollment process now, however, would not establish what was actually sent to me or what I affirmatively authorized on January 3, 2026. The General Manager offered to refund only two months of charges and maintained that I had signed up for the memberships and subsequently forgotten doing so. I respectfully dispute that explanation. Request for Proof of Authorization If Sky Zone maintains that I knowingly authorized these recurring memberships, I am requesting that Sky Zone provide the actual records associated with the January 3, 2026, transaction, including receipt showing where I received a 17-dollar discount on this date January 3, 2026, the amount that he stated was discounted as a result of me signing up for this membership Concerns Regarding the Enrollment Process After discovering these charges, I researched consumer complaints concerning Sky Zone membership billing and found numerous publicly available complaints from consumers describing experiences involving disputed recurring memberships, including allegations that consumers did not understand they were enrolling in ongoing memberships or subsequently disputed recurring charges. read more

The first half of our time here was 4 stars, the second half 2. This is such a cool place but it 100% depends on who is working for how fun it will be. Like when you have lifeguards at the pool who suck out all the fun...the second half was like that. Lots of unnecessary whistle blowing (literally, they blow a whistle). The first half was SO fun! It's nice they don't make you buy their specific socks - we wore some from another trampoline park. There are a lot of options for what kids can do - there's an indoor playground areas for the littles (and second half they started measuring kids and kicking out the tall 5-year-olds who are literally at the line, which felt unnecessary). There's of course the trampolines, and the freestyle area has a netted area (which they said little kids can't go to that side during the second half). It is harder to keep eyes on kids here because there's so much to do but they have an upper deck where parents can watch - that's nice! I prefer the trampoline parks that have more trampolines, and based on this experience I probably won't go back to this one unless it's for a party, but it was a pretty good experience. I've been to this location roughly 4x in the last year and I've had no issues. It's sky zone so there are things I've come to expect by default. Not that it's excusable but my expectations are fairly low for a place that smells like feet haha. They've added a new play area at this location, that in combination with the parking, makes it better than the Waldorf location for me. This review is mainly for Ant who was present the entire time I was there for a birthday party. At 7pm it turns into a glow jump which my daughter so was geeked up about. Might have to run it back for her birthday this year. I didn't realize Ant wasn't a guest until 30mins after I arrived, that's how much he was interacting with the children. I saw him at various times during my visit just making his rounds and assisting children as needed. There was a moment when I couldn't find my son and I asked for his help, he stopped what he was doing immediately to look for him. Shortly after I looked up and he was listening to my son go on and on about sonic the hedgehog, going as far as to compliment my son on his retelling of sonic stories :o). He was also in the party room assisting, triple checking on each kid, refilling drinks and passing out cupcakes. One girl even made a mess on her face and he stopped and helped her get cleaned up. I would come back to this location just for Ant, I cannot say enough nice things about him and his customer service. We have a family member who will not have an opportunity to attend her grandson's 5th birthday party due to this. This 1 star review is specific to the food area. We had a small group jumping and towards the end of our jump time, we ordered 2 pizzas. One cheese and one pepperoni. The order was placed at 3:20pm. I thought it would take 15 to 20 minutes for the pizzas to be ready. But no. I followed up with the lady who was working the register after 30 minutes or so, who kept brushing me off by saying it would take another 5 to 8 minutes each time I inquired. 1 hour later at 4:20, I was so fed up we talked to the general manager. The pizzas came out right after that. I don't know what is going on with that kitchen but it is not running properly. Most items on the menu were not even available. The nachos and funnel cake fries were unavailable when I asked. I don't think I will bring my child back after this experience. read more

Cancelling this service is impossible. I've left messages and no call back. Got this for our grandkids and had a valid need to cancel, but couldn't/can't get this stopped. We'll be stopping by next week when we go to Baltimore. I've had to Dispute the last to charges via my credit card company. While on a trip to Maryland in July we connected with family and took all the kids to Sky Zone. There were 4 kids in our group (4 year old, two 7 year old's, & a 9 year old). It was a Saturday before noon and it was not too crowded. If this is your first time going there you will have to fill out a waiver. I would recommend that you do that online before you arrive as they only had a few registration kiosks and it's a lengthy process. Inside there are a lot of places for the kids to play that involve either trampolines, foam ball pits or American Ninja style activities. There is an open trampoline area, rock climbing wall, balance ladder, basketball, dodgeball, and a wipeout zone (with operator controlled spinning arms). The American Ninja climbing area was great for older kids but younger kids may not be able to navigate all the courses as some required lots of reaching and upper body strength. There was staff there to make sure that everyone was acting responsibly and following the rules. As with a lot of places like this they do require you to buy their socks. There are lockers and an area to place your shoes and other items you don't want to carry around at the entrance to the right. There was enough there to keep the kids busy for 1.5 hours. Having a birthday party here for my six year old. Set up and reservation process was a breeze as long as you have the waivers filled out before hand. Once here, you get checked in and handed your passes and then the kids can go run to they get good and tired. The party host will make an announcement when you have a 20 minute warning and then you go to your party room. They serve Pauly's pizza which isn't bad for hungry kids and provide drinks. You can bring your own cupcakes/cake and enjoy the room for about an hour. Over all wasn't super crowded m and the kids had a blast read more

Recently visited SZ. The place is cool. We visited on a Sunday. We got there at 11 there was hardly any other groups there. But by 12:30 I swear they place was becoming a zoo. It was getting crowed. Granted you have a time slot to JUMP on the trampolines. That's how they try and move people around the building so that it's not too crowed. If you want to jump after your alotted time, you pay for more time. The kids had fun. Even my baby (1yr) had a great time in the "free zone" section. Our host were tons of fun. They had our party room ready, pizza, drinks. They played musical chairs, and had a dance off (sorta) with the kids. Fun times. read more

This place is poorly run and honestly not worth the money! I brought my nephews who were visiting from out of town here for some fun. One nephew is 12 and the other is 1 big age difference I know. My older nephew loves dodgeball so I knew that I would be purchasing an all day pass. His pass was about $45 total with the purchase of socks. When I inquired about the price for the toddler who is one she said it would be the same price. $45 for a 1 year old to jump maybe 10 minutes is outrages to me! The young lady who was working the register wasn't rude but she couldn't explain why it would be the same price. That was my first issue. The second issue is that the place looks ran down and dirty. The seating area for adults was not maintained by staff as you could see trash left everywhere. The bathrooms were gross, they looked like they had not been cleaned since the day before.The snack bar was so unorganized! At one point the register stopped working and we had to wait an additional 10 minutes to get our change. Last but not least there was a fight between kids then the adults were arguing! Overall it was very ghetto next time we will travel to a more professional area where the price will be worth the experience! read more

Very disappointed. Customer service is lacking in a major way. The fine print for requiring a 3 month minimum for the membership should be mentioned especially when getting the memberships in person. I was screwed out of $300 as a result. Then to top it off, after the 3 months of the membership, I cancelled the membership I was still charged!!! I called the day they took my money and was told a manager would call me back. I waited 2 days and they never called back. I had to call and inquire about it again. They finally processed the cancellation but I am still out the fee for another 2-5 days when they weren't competent enough to cancel it as requested. read more

Not COVID safe at all :( Took my nieces and daughter when they opened today and multiple children over the age of five didn't have masks on (their policy, clearly posted on every door). I pointed this out to the staff who talk to the kids, but the kids just kept taking their masks off. Their parents didn't care. I'd say at least half of the adults and kids didn't have the masks over their mouths and noses, including multiple staff members. Maybe they should have we don't give a crap hour for ppl who aren't going to follow rules. Even though this place opens at noon, there's TODDLER TIME from ten til noon. (Even though they let the big kids in a little earlier than that.) Toddler Time is for kiddos ages 5 and under. They have free reign of the place without big kids hopping all around and living their best dangerous lives. The trampolines here are smaller than at other places, which works great for little bodies. All the areas are open so the small humans can (attempt) to jump and dive and play basketball. This is popular with the summer camp crowd, but other than one large group of about 20 kids, there weren't many children there. (Read: minimal collisions and few refusal to share catastrophes) The staff were friendly, but could have provided a little more guidance for the little ones. Although some staff were hands on, there was a lot of talking amongst themselves instead of interacting. As I stated earlier, they let the big kids in a little early and did not make an announcement so we had to do a mad dash to get the toddlers out of the way before they were crushed. Sky Zone has become the go-to place for my 10 year old grandson to get some great exercise, meet new kids who share the love of jumping, and have fun! Each time we've gone, there's been plenty of room for participants, and spacious enough for me to relax while he's having fun without being too close to others' space. Today was the first time my family and I visited SkyZone since early this year. The folks at Sky Zone Bowie always do a great job with the kids and keeping the facility clean (we're regular customers), but I wanted to write a COVID-related review for parents who may be concerned about the logistics and cleanliness of the facility. As soon as you walk in, they have a staff member taking everyone's temperature (adults AND children) using a contact-less thermometer. They then give each person a squirt of hand sanitizer, and require parents to sign a new electronic waiver for each jumper. (Even if you've registered as a customer before, you'll have to do it again since they have new guidelines in place due to COVID.) The screens are covered with a sort of film . . . I guess in an attempt to keep everyone's hands clean. After that, you proceed to pay and play. During our visit of just over an hour, staff members were regularly spraying tables, mopping the floors, cleaning the play areas, etc. at a good rate. It wasn't too much or too little. The bathrooms were clean, and I felt generally safe being in the facility. Of course, everyone was required to wear a mask while inside the facility . . . even the jumpers. Also, shout out to Lauren! She is CONSISTENTLY great at providing customer service no matter when we encounter her. There was another young man there today whose name I don't know, but he also asked if we were doing well and needed anything. The staff really tries to provide a pleasant experience, and I clearly see they work hard to keep the facility clean. If you are thinking about taking your kids to this location in Bowie, I'd say go without hesitation. You will have a great experience . . . even with the COVID measures in place. read more

My daughter is 6 years old and in kindergarten. A friend from school invited her to his birthday party at Skyzone Bowie and she couldn't wait to attend. We arrived at the location with Skyzone socks already on, ready for an amazing party. She finds her friends and they run to the smaller kid section, as they are all in kindergarten, and the attendant denies my daughter entry - says she is too tall. My daughter runs to me crying, letting me know all her friends were playing and they wouldn't let her in. I go to the attendant and say, I know my daughter may be tall but she is only 6 years old and in kindergarten and all her friends are in the play area where smaller kids are to go to play and avoid being overran by older children. The attendant calls who I believe must have been the owner or GM and the man tells me, if I let your daughter in, I would have to let all the tall kids in. I was perplexed, and restated, but she is 6 years old??? Then he gave some excuse that his insurance would not pay him if someone were to get injured due to my tall 6-year-old being in a height restricted area. My child cried, parents and children stared at us, and I politely stated we would leave. We ended up staying simply because I did not want my child to feel further left out or ostracized by leaving early and she miss the party she was waiting all week for. I sat and watched other larger kids enter the age, I mean height, restricted area that were clearly older and even bigger than my child but out of respect for the party and the business owner providing such strict rules to us directly we complied and went to the height appropriate area. There we discovered most of the trampolines were broken, basketball hoops were down and most sections that my 6-year-old could jump freely were "out of commission." Only activities open were the extremely difficult obstacle course she could not even reach, the foam pit or dodgeball with older larger boys. Eventually, a few of her friends from the party came out of the age ( I mean height) appropriate area to play in the foam pit so she was able to play for about 15 minutes out of the hour. I am happy that children are resilient because after the tears, humiliation and the shame she felt (that literally broke my heart), plus the limited time she had to play with her friends that she was waiting weeks to jump with, she smiled after pizza and cupcakes and gave her friend a BIG birthday goodbye hug after. Her mother is not so resilient to such a poorly ran, maintained and unsafe establishment. I don't write this review to tell people not to go to Skyzone Bowie, I write this review to say that the way you make a child feels matters. Making an environment non-inclusive for young children who may be different is a slippery slope for not only discrimination but for moral humanity (who makes a little kid cry?). I pray Skyzone Bowie does better to make a safer more inclusive environment for ALL. But for now, we will support other Skyzone's but will never go to this one again. read more

One, I made a mistake and booked my parry on the wrong day! What a mess! but Jamie and the manager made sure I still had an amazing party. First, they gave me two options and help me have the party on the day I wanted. Grace was my server, which was efficient and always reliable when I needed her, Jamie jumped right on in and helped out! Also, my daughter loves jamie's spirits! It's not my fault she has to work in a former grocery store. I only wanted to know how much a birthday party at Sky Zone costs, which is $456.50 if you want to know too (at least, that's what she quoted me). I came here for my son's birthday party and purchased the premium package. He was excited and so was his friends but the employee that we initially dealt with while coming into the location was very unprofessional, rude, inattentive, let people walk in front of me when I was in line trying to be serviced. Upset they had my name incorrectly spelled. All of this for $515.00 birthday. I felt like leaving but did not want to get in the way of my child enjoying his birthday. This employee caused unnecessary drama and frustration to an already busy day. The jumping room was clean as were the bathrooms. The kids really enjoyed themselves. The host of our party was absolutely phenomenal. She pretty much made up for my initial bad experience and the kids enjoyed her hosting. She did everything and put a parents mind at ease. She absolutely deserves a pay raise. Besides the initial encounter and the fact you can't get into your room until it is time for the birthday celebration this place his a hidden gem. read more

I took my godson (5 years old) and his brothers here to burn off some energy. This was my first time at a Sky Zone. It's super clean and very organized. We signed waivers to get them into the system and bought their special socks and paid for an hour jump. The process was very simple. For 3 kids to jump it was $20/hr for each of them. I believe if you pre-book online you qualify for some type of discounted price. I accomplished my goals. The kids were completely wiped out by the end our timeslot. They have lockers available if you dont want to carry your stuff around. But it is also just as easy to put your things in the car. We were there on a Sat and it wasnt over crowded. However, there was a winter weather advisory so that may be why it was so empty. The staff are mostly young people. All wear bright orange shirts and are superb friendly. The dodge ball area is pretty popular as is the basketball area. However, the workers do a great job of managing it so everyone gets fair time. I saw some adults jumping and perhaps next time I will do it too. Lots of cardio. read more
