I could've spent 10 minutes a hole fixing ball marks people had left. This also left bumpy putts from old ball marks where the roots had died.

The greens are also in great shape, but as others have reviewed, people need to fix ball marks. I fixed at least 5-6 per hole, and could have done more if time permitted. The holes are separated by housing in a gated community - you lose a sense of continuity with the holes as some are separated by a ride of a minute or more from the greens to the next tees, but you aren't distracted by players from adjacent holes. The staff and service were top-notch. They noticed that our cart was down to about at 10% charge on the 5th hole and came out to replace it. The course is very friendly for women golfers - only one forced lay-up (#3) if you don't carry the ball very far. Some very good shot values throughout - generous fairways with some demanding shots into the greens, which had some interesting undulations - it would take several rounds too know where to hit your approaches to given the possible pin positions. Thoroughly enjoyed this golf course!

Today, my kid was turned away because the kids club was at capacity due to poor planning, crappy ratios and the staff's inability to look at the schedule, look at who's registered for classes, look at who in those classes has a kid's membership and go from there. When I raised concerns with the staff and front desk, I was met with attitude and told to call guest services if I need help. This was what Ivan said after he said "we can remove the service for you right here" before he doubled down and threw a card on the counter and told me to call guest services. Additionally, one of the inept employees in the kids club, misidentified me as the parent who cussed her out and was hostile. I wasn't hostile - I made a few faces and asked specific, pointed questions. Y'all can't handle it because you don't know how to work under pressure and weren't given talking points? Fine. Be mad then, sis. Don't care. So, Ivan wanted to play savior and "write my name down" so that he could "determine what to do." FOH. Don't get mad at me when I ask legitimate questions about your policies that are not posted. Further, when you elevate your voice, don't get mad at me when I do the same. I have never had a positive experience here with the management team. I have filed multiple complaints and addressed multiple concerns and have never been followed up with. Ever. I have already requested cancellation of both of my memberships, and a refund. This gym is a hot mess. The management team is terrible. Spare yourself. And they're anti-Black American. I've had multiple experiences that demonstrate that: -no acknowledgment of Juneteenth in similar ways as July 4, despite it being a majority Black club -prior to opening, the guy whose last name is Tillman spoke about the fact that they don't have a gym because "this is PG COUNTY and all the thugs would show up sagging" -ongoing interactions I've witnessed and experienced between myself and the management team

Depending on your membership you can participate in classes, sauna, etc. on top of the gym being very spacious so equipment is mainly always available.

The league is very well run: the fields are excellent, the games are on-time, the refs are generally good, and the league commissioner is very responsive. MSL does a particularly good job advertising and running leagues at a given skill level. If a league is billed as competitive, then the level of play is very high; the rec leagues, in contrast, are considerably less intense. When you sign up for a league, you get what is promised. I have only one suggestion for improvement. Many DC area sports leagues now allow you to register the team as a captain, and then have players pay individually. This obviates the need to front money for your entire team and then collect from everyone. If MSL moved to individual registration, it would make captaining a team less of a financial burden. Apart from that, the league is excellent and I highly recommend it to players at all skill levels.

It was an important part of my upbringing and part of who I am today. The Club was founded in 1964 as a chapter of the National Boys and Girls Club and is the first in the State of Maryland to hold that distinction. They offer soccer, baseball, softball, basketball, cheerleading and my sport, football. You can do recreational leagues or travel leagues (which they did not have when I was coming up), if you so choose. They have some of the best facilities that you can find at any Boys and Girls Club in the area. The ages run from 3 to 16 years old and they have some really good volunteer coaches. The people filling those roles are not just coaches, but they are role models. Their field is located behind the Clinton Library is is a first class field that has a lighted football field with scoreboard, bleachers and elevated announcer's booth. There is also a shelter there with picnic tables under it and more than ample parking available. You will also find 3 softball/baseball fields, some soccer fields and a bunch of green space here too. The grounds are maintained pretty well and the field is closed to vehicle traffic outside of an event or practice occurring there. This is a first class organization and the fees to participate are very reasonable. I highly recommend this Club for kids. It teaches them more than just a sport as it was vital to my development of friendships, and as a person.

I should have brought a change of clothes because we were sweating! I like how each room has different styles of games. And that the games do get harder on different levels. I've been to Level 99, so it's comparable where there's multiple rooms and activities and you work together to finish the game. Here, you can do competitive games against your group, which makes things more interesting. Theres about 10-15 rooms and each room has different activities to choose from and levels. Unlike Level99, the directions here make sense when you get the hints. As soon as these doors open, within seconds, we were sprinting between glowing rooms trying to beat puzzles, dodge lasers, and slap light panels like our lives depended on it. The concept is basically part escape room, part laser tag, part interactive arcade, except you are the controller. And yes... you will sweat. Each room has a different challenge, and the games ramp up in difficulty so it gets weirdly competitive (especially when everyone's scores are tracked on the wristbands). One minute you're carefully solving a puzzle and the next minute you're hopping across light-up floors like it's an adult version of "the floor is lava." A few notes from the field: * Free lockers to store your belongings. * Bring a water bottle! * Wear athletic clothes and sneakers. This is not a cute-boots/sandals activity. * It's way more physical than expected--in a fun way. * Eat AFTER you come, especially if it's a date night. You don't want to see anything coming up during the activities. What I loved most is that it's fast-paced and replayable. You can bounce between rooms, try different difficulty levels, and keep chasing a higher score. It's perfect for groups, birthdays, team outings, or honestly just blowing off steam. Bottom line: it's chaotic, active, and ridiculously fun. Also in comparison to Level 99, it's not as busy and we don't have to wait outside rooms for long. Would I go back? 100%. My competitive side refuses to accept my current score.
