Unfortunately, the installation caused major problems. After the solar panels were installed, our roof began leaking. The leaks led to mold developing in our attic, which has been very costly and stressful to fix. It's also concerning that the company has changed its name multiple times, which makes it hard for customers to hold them accountable. Very honest and reasonable company to work it. Made the process way less complicated than it should be. I had first encounter "that" solar company at costco and felt they were pressuring me and it didn't feel right. A friend referred Mark and he assessed my roof and my past monthly DWP bill. We came up with a good plan and how much solar I needed. My roof was double layered and it was going on 15+years, I had Mark change the roof and also got the Enphase 10kw Battery back up. With the back up battery, If your able to make the payments, this is a great investment. We live in the Valley and get plenty of power outages during the summer and this turned on seamlessly. With the tear down and installation, they deal with the city's inspector and the workers are respectful and took time for my questions. Over all, we've been saving and less worried about running the air conditioner. I'm still unclear about what happened with the CTs but Sky limit installed them in the end and I'm thrilled to have the solar system running perfectly as we go into our first summer with it. Thanks for the bizarre, performative response? You've done nothing to fulfill the contract to warrant anything but its automatic cancellation. Nothing was ever resolved, no one ever got back to us and absolutely nothing got done. We finally took matters into our own hands, found a new installer, transferred our loan, worked with SCE to transfer our NEM2.0. We now get weekly updates from our new installer and are (finally) in the permitting phase. Since this review at least half a dozen people have reached out having the same experience with SkyLimit. Mark has also been busy trying to have our reviews removed all over the place. Buyer beware. read more

Sky Limit Energy took our money, over $40K, in June 2023. It has nearly been a year and they NEVER STARTED our project. As with another reviewer, we found Sky Limit through Electrum and were financed through ELN. At the time we trusted Electrum because of their insistence that they 'vetted' all their contractors. In hindsight we should never have signed a contract. At this point, Mark at Sky Limit is not responsive and neither is Electrum. I think our only option is to go after Sky Limit's license. 4/20 Update: Maleena has reached out to get the inverters to me, I appreciate her help. Installation in October 2022 was great, the company did a great job and everything was quick and easy. On Feb 18th, 2023, 9 of the Enphase microinverters, out of 21, went offline. They RMA'd the inverters and have had them in possession for weeks, they refuse to commit to a tech replacing them always citing "too busy", probably with new installs which matters more apparently than installed customers. The company doesn't stand behind its work, only seems interested in new installs. I am losing valuable generation credit every day. Just hope you don't have post-install issues because you'll be left with a system generating only 57% of its capacity and paid in full as in my example, beware. read more

Do that use this company. I have been trying to connect with owner Mark S for months and he is unresponsive. The one or two replies I get is that he will get back to me but never does. My inverter was installed with outdated modem and now I cannot get any data on the app. I've trying to schedule to get a new one installed but Mark is no where to be found. I installed my system using his previous company SunXSolar and he mysteriously changed his company name to Sky Limit never informed his client that his company rebranded. The installation was fine, the techs were fine, Maleena was the most difficult person to work with, who does all of the scheduling. It was brutal dealing with her for the 10 months it took from signing the contract to being done with it all. She did some math wrong when we had to add something, I thankfully caught it and told her it was incorrect. She said, "It's just $400." I was blown away. She has no idea of my money situation and how much $400 means to my family. Also, every time she emailed me with a date for work to be done, she ALWAYS gave me a wrong date. Never once could she get a date correct. Also, just know all communication will be done via email. She doesn't always write back either. If you call, you'll get told No and that Maleena can't talk and you must email her. I've asked her for a copy of our contract so I can use for our taxes and she never replied. At this point, I'm worried for my money I'm supposed to get back on my tax returns. I'm unsure how to prove this. read more

I had previously gotten a solar system through a different company, Titan Solar and construction and the solar system they gave me stopped working after 2 years. The 25 year warranty they never honored. I fought them and lost as they were supposedly going out of business.
