    Infinity Solar

    (295 reviews)

I wanted to share my recent wonderful experience with my recent service visit with Infinity Solar…read more I purchased my system in 2024 (detailed review also done); during this time, my solar generation has been absolutely wonderful, and sized perfectly by Kay. My electric bill is essentially free over all of 2025 and this year. Some months have a $10 dollar bill, other months negative depending on how sunny each day is. I have had zero issues whatsoever and system works like clockwork. The installation over my tile roof, done through Terrazas roofing, partnered with Solar has also been top notch with zero issues with multiple major storms last year. I would say i was 110% satisfied with my decision to go solar and with Infinity solar. Fast forward to 2026. A series of recent power outages resulted in no power in my home. My initial thinking was that my system should have generated power with a fully charged battery during this outage. After calling Infinity, it was relayed that my system per contract was only set up for load shifting by design, lowering cost which I had decided on. After discussing 2 options to allow for backup power generation, i decided to proceed with the upgrade. Throughout the process, the entire team supported me exceptionally, starting with Sara who stepped in to help speak to me when the service department was not available at the time. As i did'nt understand my contract fully,, i reached out to Kay in sales, whom i did not speak to in 2 years, who really went above and beyond to explain to me in full detail how my system was set up, and options i had to upgrade. Kay treated me like family. I was so appreciative of her kind approach. She helped coordinate a technical call with Joel to fully answer all my technical questions. Once i decided i was comfortable with to proceed with the upgrade, the service team took over, with Vanessa and Brianna helping me schedule my service. Vanessa and Brianna work tremendously well together; super friendly, pleasant, professional and helpful. I requested looking into a couple options which Vanessa followed up on and accommodated without hesitation. A straight forward and exact quote was provided on Thursday. Their service and help was fantastic and greatly appreciated. Upon approving my quote on Thursday, my service was completed on the following Tuesday, much faster than I expected. Upgrade was performed by Ivan, electrician specialist. Ivan also initially setup my system in 2024. His expertise is perhaps, in my view, the finest in the industry. I felt very fortunate and appreciative knowing i hd my system in the best hands. He spent about 3 hours working on my system, explaining all the steps. Work performed was tremendous. Ivan patiently answering all my questions on some of the system parameters forgotten over the past 2 years. System was up and running and verified to work fully with a simulated power outage performed through the fuse box, and through the app. I was thrilled to now have backup power during outages. Billing and final payment was as quoted and super easy. In closing, the real mark of any business is how you are treated after the job is complete. My belief is that Infinity solar lives up to their reputation of being an exceptional 5 star company providing high expertise solar services through all phases of a project; sales, installation, commission, operational life, and post installation services. In a business of fraught with fly by night companies, Infinity Solar is a true gem. Solar done right with integrity, highest expertise, and exceptional, prompt service when called on. Thanks again to the entire Infinity team. 5 Star once again! Dave C

However, upon completeing the job, the project manager Tim Broughton called me, helped me log on to the Enphase app so that I could monitor the panels. After I confirmed that I was logged in, I was told that I was up and running And they were done. I was happy thinking I was now running on the sun. Wrong. So very wrong. I received my electric bill and astonished to see the electric portion was over $800.00. I called the power company and was told that the $130.00 application fee had not been paid. I notified Mr. Broughton and he immediatley saw that the bill for the application fee was paid and apologized for the error. Now the fun begins. I called the power company and asked when they would be out to install the proper meter for solar panels. I was informed that no application for a meter to be installed was on file and that I had to submit an application for interconnection. Hmm? No one mentioned anything to me about completing and application or that I had to contact the power company. I completed the PTO (Permission to Operate) form and based on the questions being asked and the information I needed to provide leads me to believe the Solar company was responsible for completing this form and sending the required fee. Ok. Lets not look to for someone to blame, lets just get the proper meter installed. I completed the PTO and submitted it. The power company came out a couple of weeks later and installed the a new meter. Onlyit was not a meter for solar panels. They installed the same new meter but it was the same meter as the meter I already had. I asked them why they didn't put on a solar meter and I was told that I needed to submit a PTO for a SOLAR METER, which is different. And by the way, they have a special person that installs solar meters and a special person to install regular meters. This seemed rather stupid to me. I ask the power comapany rep for the contact info for the solar department and he told he didn't know. I won't name the power company. LADwp. The one good thing the DWP rep did upon arriving to his office was to send an email to contact the proper department at the power company. I assumed he would have just gone about his business and let me flounder. I started on the second application which asked for job site photos. This was to me another indication that the solar installer was suppose to complete this form because Joe Citizen would not know what photos they were required. I did observe that periodically, the workers would take photos, but none were ever sent to me. Now I'm in the middle of August 2026 with fingers, legs, arms, eyes and anything else, maybe the dogs and cats, crossed hoping that this time I will get a meter. The bottom line is I would still recommend AWS SOLAR to anyone, but I'd have to caution them to make sure they get you connected and ALL fees are paid. Because I was dealing with the City of LA and being constantly sent to voice mail and waiting for call backs, this experience was horrendous.

It's 4 year in a row now the system failed to produce the minimum guaranteed production. AWS Solar chose to compensate for the shortfall again; we'll see what the 5th year production looks like. I suggested replacing some of the panels with the higher power ones to solve the issue, but I guess they want to see more data.

I came across LA Solar Pros on Yelp and took the time to read through their reviews. After seeing so many positive experiences, I decided to reach out. The quote he provided was also very reasonable. What impressed me the most was how quickly everything came together. My permit, installation, and inspection were all completed by September 3rd--and we passed inspection! Considering the tight timeframe I was working with, I honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. I really appreciate Shant and the LA Solar Pros team for being responsive, professional, and making what could have been a stressful process feel easy. I'm very happy with my experience and would absolutely recommend LA Solar Pros to anyone looking for a solar company. Thank you, Shant, for helping make this happen so quickly!

We had another kid and with all of us using more devices, we watched our bill creep back up there and wanted to bring it back down. Bob King was our salesperson. He was very knowledgeable and informative.. Bob presented solutions - added panels under rule 21 and a two batteries - that made sense and fit into our budget. Our crew arrived on time, were courteous, polite, went over everything they were going to do. They finished on time with a great looking install. With Semper, you get step by step heads up on everything that's happening, and when it's going to happen, though things usually happen faster than the estimated times. Working with the same people and the same company over the course of ten plus years feels really good. I would recommend semper to anyone who's looking into solar, or batteries or roofs. Five stars.

TLDR: Would not recommend…read more We chose Semper Solaris for a solar and Tesla battery installation with an expected completion date of 7/20 to assist with combating incredibly high summer-time electric costs (approximately 1600/month). It is now 9/14 and the project is still not complete, with almost no communication from the company about the delays. I've called multiple times, to multiple different numbers for updates and have not received any meaningful follow-up. I've emailed their "urgent assistance" address and only gotten automatic responses, with no actual reply from a human. Some of the issues we have experienced have been fixed (missing roof tiles, circuit breaker outages, hole in the side of the house), however others remain (poor labeling in primary breaker box where circuits were switched around, painting, actual activation) To make matters worse, our sales rep was fired in the middle of the installation process and no new rep was ever assigned, so we've had nobody to talk to about the status of our project. We recently received an email saying a "final inspection" will be completed this week, but that same email states that utility approval can take an additional 2-6 weeks after the final inspection. This means our system could end up being fully active three to four months after the original completion date of 7/20, costing us literally thousands of dollars and completely missing all of the summer months, which was the point of signing up for this when we did. To this date we still have not signed loan documents with their preferred Credit Union, something that our sales rep was assisting with before he was fired, and I expect that once our system is fully active that this will cause yet another delay. Delays can happen, but the complete lack of proactive communication or explanation from Semper Solaris has been extremely frustrating. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. It looks cool, the batteries are pretty neat, but it would be great if the system that was installed a couple months ago was actually active and being used, instead of just sitting there doing nothing while its 100+ outside and our AC is running constantly. P.S. Before Jonathan was let go this whole process was smooth and communication was excellent, cheers to Jonathan.

I really appreciate the direct accountability and quick resolution. I'm leaving my original review below for transparency, but their prompt response today restored my confidence in their management. I originally had a positive experience with California Solar Electric during my 10.12 kW solar and Powerwall 3 installation last year. Unfortunately, their post-install customer support and business ethics are nonexistent. I referred a friend who completed their installation months ago. I was explicitly promised a $500 referral bonus for this. After months of waiting, I tried following up multiple times privately to give them a chance to make it right, but I am now being completely ignored. It's a shame because I have several neighbors here in Fountain Valley who are currently shopping around for solar and battery storage. I was planning to refer them here, but I cannot recommend a company that fails to honor its own written agreements and ducks communication. Buyer beware: the installation team does good work, but do not trust a word management says about referral incentives or post-sale promises. Still waiting for my $500.

We went with Enphase even though it was a bit more expensive. If we had a Cybertruck then Tesla all the way because of the bidirectional charging. The other advantage is that they are also a roofing company so it was all quite seamless. We were able to combine the install with replacement of the dormer vents with flat fire-resistant ones so now we are not as concerned with fire embers. Their work was impeccable throughout and the post install service is exceptional. For instance we initially missed that the water heater was not included in the backup circuits. They sent a small crew back to take care of that at no additional cost. Several months later we realized that the wall oven which we rarely used is no longer powered. They sent someone to take care of that as well. So far the system is functioning well. I was a little surprised I found out that the production calculation (120% of last year's use) is misleading. On a sunny day, by noon our batteries are full and the power generated for the rest of the day goes to the grid and is essentially wasted here in California. When I am home I can minimize this waste by charging my electric car which covers my day to day driving as it turns out. I manage it by using the Enlighten app's live status. I suppose I could have bought more batteries but I already own extra batteries. It's in the car.

Their team carefully removed all 33 panels and worked closely with our roofing contractor to ensure a smooth, coordinated process. Mark was exceptionally knowledgeable and patient in explaining the factors affecting our system, including how the panels should have been installed to account for their weight and proper roof support. He helped us understand where the original installation had fallen short and what was needed to correct it. We also discovered that our inverter had not been working for some time.
