Not surprised their rating is in the gutter since they don't want to even honor appointments set up in advance. Had a call just now the same day canceling telling me not only would they not be coming out, but they won't offer an estimate and won't even give a proposal and that I should go with someone else. cannot believe 0 stars was not an option. They came to open my pool, which was $250 plus $100 to remove leaves on our cover and remove the cover. All they did was remove the cover then charge us $375 to open the pool. They were supposed to come back to open the pool another date and claim they already did it and went to charge us $800 total. Ok so first off zero stars was not an option. This is the worst pool company I have ever dealt with. Their customer service is atrocious with very little concern for the customer. On two occasions-an appointment was set and they never showed up. A phone call was made to the company and they told me there was nothing they could do and to call back the next day to schedule a new appointment. I am not one to make complaints about a company but I am writing to warn future customers to STAY AWAY from this company. I wish had read yelp reviews prior to using company. This pool company is completely incompetent from the scheduler in the office to the service people who show up. I hired them to open the pool and get it up and running including power vacuuming and checking for chemicals. It took six service calls to get the pool ALMOST swimmable. Everyone who showed up did a half fast job, had zero expertise in terms of chemical testing and left my pool filthy after charging me for a power vacuum. They claimed after several emails and phone calls that it's the "setup" of my pool that prevented it from getting completely cleaned and running. I hired a new pool company who one the first visit did an excellent job and remedied all the issues. read more

Sky Blue was recommended by my neighbor, so I did have high hopes. Set an appointment and their guy came and did a pre clean of my pool. The pool was very dirty due to a hole in the cover all winter. I was told the main cleaning would happen four days later. Short version, 9 days later I was still waiting. I called a couple of times in the interim, and each time was told the crew would be there the nest day, or day after that. When this didn't happen, my last call I was told, "we are very busy". Just a word to the wise to any business, never use this as an excuse. You are basically saying to your customer that not only are you not prepared to do your business but that the customer's job is not a very big priority for the company. My money isn't good enough? Finally they did send a guy, but by that time it was the day after a storm and he couldn't do the job because the pool water was too cloudy. It had been clear the whole time I waited for them. No choice but to send them on their way and call another company and give them a chance at my business. I'm sure Sky Blue is a fine company, just you will be taking your chances if you call them when they are busy, unless of course you happen to have a priority job. read more

By far the WORST customer service employees I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Once the pool guys get out to the house the service is OK. The office staff is nasty, unfriendly and seem miserable. I used them when they were brand new in the business and the longer they were open the worse the service became. After 8 years I will no longer use them and don't recommend to anyone. read more

Been a customer for about 3/4 years now. Beginning relationship was great. They had great rates and costumer service. There was a lot of work needed to be done to my pool, so we broke it into separate projects. First project was around $5,500. Everything went well. Bi-weekly services during spring/summer season, opening and closing. They would answer all my questions in a timely manor as well schedule appts ASAP for needed service. Sandy hit us hard, both my landscaping and home. My personal business took a hard hit as well. Maintaining the pool became difficult and was more of luxury than a priority. Before hand we were planning to redo the pool's piping and marbleization. A $23,000 overhaul. Waited about a year and half to have my business back on track before committing. When addressing to schedule maintains and services, to my surprise rates had gone up significantly. Costumer service lacks and long waits between receiving response. Waited over a month to hear from the owner about getting my pool done... No reply after multiple left messages and emails. As well as endless excuses and promises to get back to me. I ended up needing to have another company handle the entire renovation. Unfortunately the company doesn't service pools seasonally because I planning to change, very impressed with their professionalism and work. So now I have brand new pool. No thanks to Sky Blue. I hope their able to get back to their past glory because I'm very disappointed with how they've handled this matter after; thousands of dollars in business, years of commitment, and multiple referrals. Oh, which I also found out that a couple of the referrals have also become dissatisfied with their services. read more

Not recommended. Some techs are great, others are so so... The leak detection team is great but the other services really are poor. Their pricing is significantly higher than the average but they do not provide an equivalent level of service to justify their prices. Worst of all the management in the office is combative, almost crossing the line of being rude and doesn't know the meaning of customer service. With each year I was getting more frustrated and finally fired them - over an $85 charge! For this I can not recommend them... I suggest looking for a company that recognizes they are in a customer service business. read more
