I started with Daniela, who is also amazing and so I hope she knows I didn't NOT like her, but on my second time I went to Danielle and we really vibed so now I've continued with her. Danielle gives amazing facials - I have the membership here and usually alternate between the signature facial and the hydra facial. I'm probably down to try some other stuff in the future too. Also, Danielle literally got a piece of glass out of my foot that a 4 hour wait in the ER couldn't fix. Danielle is better than doctors (at least when it comes to glass in your foot!). read more

So....good news/ mostly bad news. I went for a facial and a scalp treatment. The facial was good, yet clinical. My face feels clean, yet minimal massage so not very relaxing. It looks ok, but my skin actually feels a bit dry/peeling has the same little creases I went in with. Usually when I get massages I come out of facials I am all dewy with excess moisture. Let's talk about the scalp treatment. A ripoff and overpriced at 595.00, which was not told to me when I booked it! No massage, nothing relaxing. It's about 30 minutes of hydra facial on your scalp and then 5 minutes under heat. When I booked it I mentioned massage, and they just let me believe this was a full on orgasmic scalp head treatment. Not. In spite of very nice and thorough aesthetician (who in the end said clients do complain about the lack of massage), I will never go back. Maybe I am at fault for not asking the price which was not listed on the sheet of services they handed to me - the facial prices were, so I assumed this scalp treatment would be in the same price range. If there had been some relaxing massage, some hand treatment... I might have been able to justify this gross expenditure - 850 with a 50 discount for less than two hours of very clinical treatment. And now that I have blown my wad I can't take myself out for a nice dinner to make up for it. What was supposed to be a relaxing Sunday afternoon was like going to the skin doctor. Had my very first treatment today. It was skin microneedling, which sounds like what it is. Like having a staple gun injected 100 times into your face. My esthetician, Alexandra, explained the procedure well and the pain was minimal. She answered all my many questions and was very nice and professional. I went to Skinlab after reading a lot of positive reviews and decided to book a consultation/treatment with Danielle Diaz. I didn't know what I needed but I was in a bad cycle of hormonal breakouts and felt it was time for a reset. Danielle was fantastic- she analyzed my skin and my current skincare regimen and helped me understand what was exacerbating the breakouts and what I can do to reduce them going forward. She wrote out a step- by-step daytime and nighttime routine with exact product recommendations. She was transparent about the cost of Skinceuticals products and discussed the benefits of using them without being pushy about only using their products, which I appreciated. When I arrived for my facial my skin was red, blotchy, dull and overall a mess. We did a hydrafacial and I left with glowing skin. Even with the blemishes/scars from my recent breakouts, my skin looked better than it had in years when I left. When I went to work the next day at least 3 people complimented me on my skin and asked what I used (this never happens). But even beyond the immediate result, my skin has cleared up substantially and overall looks brighter and more hydrated which I credit to implementing the regimen that Danielle wrote out. I highly recommend Danielle not just for her clear expertise in this area but also because she is thoughtful and considerate and it's clear that she loves what she does and is great at it. read more

I recently moved from Colorado to attend university here and my skin broke out very badly. I have very sensitive skin and nothing I used helped and just made my skin irritated. I decided it was time to let a professional help me. Upon researching someplace nearby, I stumbled across Tribeca Medspa in Flatiron. I liked both Merve and Maha who were very gentle and nurturing on my induction into skin care. I first did a peel and did I peel... a lot! It was so gratifying to see all the dead skin fall off. After that, I returned for a facial with laser genesis. Post appointment I felt like a newborn baby. My favorite thing of all was the cryoball. It was really freaking relaxing! Every time I went Merve and Maha consulted with me on the best post-treatment skin stuff. I haven't managed to try a lot, but their Skinceuticals products have been some of the only products that didnt burn my skin. I am so happy I got all this done before Covid. I am a client of Tribeca Medspa Flatiron. I had cool sculpting done by Merve on my lower abdomen and sides. The procedure was not painful. Over the next 6 weeks I noticed a reduction in the size of these areas. I plan to return when I return to NYC. I have the option to get my other cool sculpt sessions in Boca Raton Florida. The facilities and personnel did not compare to Merve and her equipment and the environment. So I will be flying up and looking forward to continue the process read more

Had my first laser hair removal procedure (underarms and legs) done by their lead esthetician Victoria Lewis and it was great! I was nervous it was going to be painful but it was a breeze! I could barely feel the laser. Victoria explained everything clearly (step by step) to keep me well informed. Don't ever go to this place! I had the worst experience and my skin is basically burnt because of that place! I went for hydrafacial and when I was filling the forms I wrote that I react badly to salycyclic acid. I said it again to the aesthetician during the treatment. But she said trust me, this is a different formula and a low concentration. So I trusted her and let her convince me to use it. I wish I haven't!! My whole skin is extremely red, puffy, and dry and I look like I have wrinkles all over my face since the treatment!! When I called them to tell what happened she first wanted to put the blame on the products I used after (I only used micellar water), then said she didn't apply salycyclic acid but changed her narrative when I said she did. Unbelivable! She also tried to minimize the discomfort I was going through and said take thylenol. The other aesthetician agreed with me that my face looks bad and this is not normal. I emailed twice to the manager and got no response. No one even apologized! I hope I don't have permament scarring on my face because of this terrible terrible place. I wish I never ever went there. I got the most incredible facial here with merVe! came to NY for fashion week and between all the shows I stopped in for a relatively quick facial. I left with an incredible glow and tons of compliments. Here's what I would recommend- the dermaplaning which removed all the dead skin and basically made me start fresh. I have never felt my skin be this smooth it was insane. I did a laser genesis to stimulate collagen and make my pores smaller and this was immediately noticeably effective. I also did a micro channeling treatment. It's a topical treatment left with me nice firm skin. As I went here between shows I was honestly super worried my skin would look red and irritated aftter all these treatments but the redness went down after literally 30 mins and mind you, I have SUPER sensitive skin. It was an incredible facial- I did so much in a pRetty short amount of time. I continued with my day without any makeup because my skin was so soFt and glowy that I didn't want to lose the effect. I don't write a lot of review, but this place is too good to not share! I went for a Plasma Pen treatment for drooping eyelids & undereye bags & wrinkles, & saw Merve. First, WOW! It's been about 2 months & I seriously look 10 years younger already...& I haven't even seen the full results yet! I was super scabby for a little over a week, so 10 days down for 10 years off my face? WORTH IT. Merve was a doll! So sweet & calming during what could've been nerve-wracking (when it was on my eyelids!). And she's such a wealth of knowledge!!
