UPDATE: Barely 24 hours after my review, the Dr sent me an email threatening to sue, followed by a text message the next day, when I didn't respond. Just like he's done to every other yelper who dared to speak their truth about his deceptive practice. Its funny because I was told he would. If this doesn't say everything you need to know about this fraudulent human, I don't know what else will. I have attached screenshots of his messages to me, I hope YELP does something about this business, and I'll also be filing a formal complaint. FYI skinly Aesthetic: I don't scare easily. And this isn't a good look for you. ADVISE: if you still choose to go to his office, MAKE SURE HE SHOWS YOU EXACTLY THE AMOUNT OF FILLERS OR BOTOX YOU PAY FOR AND HE ISN'T JUST INJECTING YOU BLINDLY! I came here less than a month ago on the 15th of July, to get 20 units of Botox which I always get at my original injector, but she was away on holiday and I was about to leave the country on vacation, I wanted to look fresh and "awake" for my trip to Europe and I told the doctor this. Right out the gate he insists, that 20 units were too small and I should go for 40, my face is pretty small, with little or no wrinkles, and 20 has always been good for me and lasted about 6 months, so I was shocked to hear this from him, but they're so persistent so I found myself going along. He didn't stop there, he tried to push me to get fillers and a pdo thread for more lifting of my face! Telling me my face is saggy, I am a skinny model with the tiniest amount of fat on my whole body. Like are you kidding me?? I politely refused said no. About 20 mins later, I'm led into the room, this dirty doctor comes in with the same gloves he's had all through, walking through the clinic, touching stuff, and working on other patients, he doesn't have the decency to change them and without even massaging or asking if I'm ready, pokes my forehead so hard I hear a loud 'poof', like a balloon burst, I told him that hurt a lot and he told me it was normal. IT WASN'T! After he's done, he leaves me with no aftercare, not even ice, and him and the receptionist Sara, run off into some other room at the back,giggling like kids, doing God knows what, I had to let myself out. As it was already the end of the business day. I woke up the next morning with a large bruise on my forehead, I called them and he said yea it was a mistake, he went too hard and I should use the ice and heat pack he gave me and the bruising should go down within a few days, no apologies nothing. I told him, he didn't give me anything for aftercare and his response was "oh it escaped my mind" RED FLAG! Now I'm supposed to leave for my vacation with a bruise?? I was very unhappy. Fast forward more than two weeks later I'm still having lines by my eyebrows I'm wondering why?! I've had 20 units often in the past and never had these issue. I emailed them a few days ago since it's been almost a month since my visit, complaining of this, what does this quack Doctor do? He tries to upsell me even more by email. Telling me I would need more units. Then he says I got 30 not 40 units. This really made me upset. I responded that I know exactly what my face needs and I don't go for the over done look and I believe I was not sold the right amount which I paid for, and all of a sudden they went quiet not responding back. This place is treacherous, deceptive, dirty and they're up to no good. The fact that I gave them days to fix this, yet they chose to stay silent, goes to show this man is no doctor but a sales person who just goes for profit. There were a few women there when I visited and it's obvious he preys on innocent older women who have no idea how injections work and are just happy to have someone sell them what they might not even need. Two of them just got their lips done and they told me it was their first time and asked me how it looks. This is how I know he goes for people less experienced with cosmetic injections. I've been looking forever for a spa in NYC that can do natural-looking lip filler and I've finally found it! I wanted volume without the over-filled "duck" look and Skinly delivered. Dr. Schwarzburg needs to learn about 3 things: BROW PTOSIS - brow droop when too much botox is placed in the forehead. My BFF thought I'd been punched in the face. BEDSIDE MANNER - when having any kind of medical procedure, a little care is to be expected, but this guy is stoic and comes across uncaring. NO LOUD MUSIC - this is a doctor's office, not a rave. People won't think you're cool because you're hosting a mashup in your office. What a really great experience. From Charlotte being super communicative via email and text between my work meetings, was straight forward about cost, was able to book an appointment quickly, no fuss, answered all/any questions, personable to the easy location, clean space, and prompt appointment start time. This place is absolutely horrible. This "doctor" needs to get his license taken away. He's very deceptive and preys on people. He completely ruined my face by injecting random products. He has no bedside manners, would just walk in and out of the room. Would not say what he's injecting, let alone if it even was the right products. I came in with very specific intentions and he tries to force you into getting other procedures because he "recommends" it just to take your money. He overcharged me for the most basic procedures. Full price for .5 ml of lip filler when I didn't even want to get my lips done in the first place. My lips were fine so I was skeptical of getting it done but he either overfilled or the product he used was not filler because it didn't even last a day. I had to get it dissolved immediately because I couldn't go out in public. He basically humiliated me and charged me for it. Lesson learned. Would give negative stars if I could. DO NOT GO HERE. They advertise walk ins welcome, but that is not sure.
