I had a great experience here when I got a ski package recently. All of the staff were really nice and their ski packages are great, which is $25/day and it includes boots, skis and poles. I picked up my package around 4pm on Wednesday evening, and returned them right before close on Friday. And I got in 1.5 days of skiing, sweet! I was planning on going night skiing and unfortunately, they don't carry any clear or night goggles I also finally bought some ski apparel and again staff were really helpful! One lady on the floor was helping me to find a jacket that matched ski overalls, without me even asking. I then went over to helmets, and the guy working there was also really nice and got me all squared away. Gil fitted me for some new ski boots in December of 2024. In February of 2025 I went to Utah and skied four resorts in six days. Not once did I have any discomfort in my feet nor were there any pinch points on either foot. I have been shopping here for over 30 years, (probably over $5K in purchases), small items for swimming; goggles, fins, caps etc. This store does not support the products it sells. Typically goggle do break but after 5-8 months of wear. Recently, two sets of goggles ripped. I returned with proof of purchase showing only 2-4 months ago. They refused to consider an instore credit. Of course they do not manufacture the item but as my name is on their computer which shows long standing customer, one would think some some customer loyalty would be granted. ZERO!! They won't really care as these are not large purchases but as i used to tell our staff, people come for a small item but next time perhaps a large item. Ski Pro is indifferent - so be it - but they have lost my business. Granted they will not care but why should I support this attitude. My mistake: not insisting they put their most experienced ski tech on the job of tuning my skis. Their mistake: letting a rookie tech use a p-tex candle where there should have been base welds. A competent ski tech can make bases look brand new with a stone grinder and base welder. These were far, far from that. I was offered a chance to leave them to be fixed, but would you go to the same doctor that botched your surgery in the first place? If I was the guy on the other side of the counter, I would have offered to comp the work. It would have prevented this review from being written. read more

I am a seasonal frequent custome at this ski pro we typically always have amazing service from here. I unfortunately had the pleasure of meeting one of the Staff members named Mike on Friday March 12th 2021. I came in on Friday to reserve two demo boards for the weekend, I explained to Mike that I came in early to make sure we got a headstart, since there was a lot of snow up north and I'm sure they were going to be busy. I explained that we were leaving on Sunday, and would be returning to drop boards off next day. I explained the boards that we were looking for, with hopes that I would be met with great customer service like usual here. "We don't do that, here you would need to go online and book those yourself" He said I expressed that we always either call in or come in store, and he insisted that that's not how it works, and that they changed that a long time ago. I explained that I was just here less than a month ago with zero issues doing the same thing. He then said "We only usually help people who are really really really nice to us, and only if you're wanting to reserve our demo boards" and then stared at me...it was uncomfortableand awkward that that was just said.. I smiled and held up my debit card and said "that is what I'm here to do today Mike" He proceeded forcefully with attempts to help me " I guess I can help you, I'm basically filling out the form online for you and you can just do this yourself." Slapped some stickies on some boards after I had to walk up and point to the one we rented a few weeks ago.. he said they got a new system that we aren't in the system...which they input all our stuff into the new system last time with the 1130 am crew at our last rental...Anyway. Mike is the epitome of terrible customer service. Imagine this, you walk into your favorite rental shop only to have a loudmouthed rude and abrasive employee try and talk you out of doing business with them. Like what?? Very satisfied with the experience at Ski Pro. Bought a pair of Volkl Mantra and when they were sizing my bindings it became apparent my boot needed a stabilizing piece. Folks at the 21st Street & Camelback Ski Pro were super helpful and friendly. I am a new skier and purchased ski boots online (risky, but I really wanted a certain boot) and the boot fitter at SkiPro helped me make sure they were dialed in for me (my online gamble worked, thankfully). I purchased skis while I was at it and if my other half wasn't with me tugging on me to go, I probably would have purchased more. I recommend this group. They were even super friendly & helpful when I called to see if I needed an appt with the boot fitter (did not). read more

Just my experience... About a year ago, I brought in some old boots to get the soles replaced. Called a week later and was told to try again next week. Called the next week, and they didn't have an update. Came in a few days later, it took them a while to find the boots, and there was just a note on the boots stating they didn't have replacement soles. Fast forward to now. I have some old skis. I wanted to know if they were safe to use, so I called ahead to verify that SP tests ski bindings for safety. Got the affirmative on the phone. I brought them in, and the technician refused to test the bindings because they were an old model. I understood his reasons, but I would have greatly appreciated a more helpful response than "buy new bindings." To refuse to assess the SAFETY of a ski binding (regardless of model year) is an absolutely ridiculous, completely irresponsible, potentially dangerous, and ultimately unhelpful policy. Ski Pro has lost a customer and gained a bad review. read more

Was very dissatisfied to have to wait over 45 minutes to rent out skis and then another 40 minutes to return them. I will never rent from skipro again. I would much rather go to a rental store in Flagstaff or close to sunrise which have many service people ready to help. When I asked if anyone else could help they said no and gave me an attitude like I was crazy not to have to wait to return my rentals. Plus there were plenty of workers at other counters not able to help. read more

Went in to get boots molded (which I bought somewhere else) and Todd not only spent the time to do it right and explain the process, but also fitted me with some insoles for flat feet while he was at it. My husband takes a couple of ski trips a year, and I couldn't help but notice his ski pants recently... they were literally duck taped together, they were so old! So, when his birthday rolled around recently, I knew just where to go: Ski Pro! I was on a search to buy him new ski pants for his birthday and Ski Pro delivered. Unfortunately, the pants I purchased for him were a little too big. But luckily, he was able to exchange them no problem and they even credited him the difference since the ones he found were less expensive... The staff that worked with both of us was friendly and helpful, and they had a decent selection to boot. I'd definitely return to Ski Pro for future snow ski, snowboard, and/or water ski needs. I needed some ski gear, and was ready to walk out until Tony (Parking Lot sale in Flagstaff, 10.13.18) came to the rescue. Tony engaged and fine tuned my needs. New to skiing and wanted to work jumps and tricks. He fine tuned my gear even more when he learned I've been snowboarding for 10+ years. Tony is truly an asset to this line of work, not only because he explained everything, but made me feel confident in my purchase, and confident in how I will ride this year. They fitted me (Specifically a man named gill?) with boots that were several sizes too small, even after complaining that it was hurting my feet. This was my first time ever getting brand new boots. I got custom soles and got these boots fitted, so they were molded to my feet and won't fit anybody else. One of the most welcoming and friendly staff, they know their stuff and are willing to help. They will answer any questions you have and just great people. Stuff is expensive but it is a ski shop. And they have sale's occasionally, if you have any need for ski rentals or in need of ski equipment this is the spot. read more

Good service and product selection but items are overpriced. They state a price-match guarantee but you have to go through a lot of hoops to prove the price match and even if there is a verified price-match they would not honor it if they claim that the price is below their cost. Better deals can be found at Action Rideshop or the local ski shops (Ski Haus or First Chair) around Flagstaff. If you're renting equipment, you're better off renting at local ski shops near the ski resorts. Less carrying around of equipment and lower price. read more
