I was able to get the most soft, luxurious pajama sets for my mom, MIL, and GIL (grandmother in law)... they were pricey, but these ladies are worth the splurge! Huge thanks to Kathy for helping me out, ringing me up, and wrapping up the gifts in beautiful bags with tissue paper. I will be back!

During that time, my friend had to take her young daughter to the restroom. Considering this was a children's event, we assumed that stepping away briefly for a bathroom break would be understandable. However, when they returned, they were not allowed back inside, which was extremely frustrating and disappointing. We had also planned to purchase a Giant Bartholomew Bear priced at $1,045. While the bear was available for sale, we were informed that we could not take it home until 5:00 PM. We explained that we live on the other side of town and would not be able to return later in the day, but no exception was offered. It was surprising that a customer willing to make such a significant purchase was not given any accommodation. Additionally, gifts were advertised for the first 25 attendees. Many of those gifts appeared to be distributed to children under two years old, which made the process feel poorly organized and unfair to others who had waited in line specifically for the event. Overall, the experience was disappointing from start to finish. We woke up early, waited for over an hour, traveled across town, and arrived genuinely excited to participate. Instead, we left feeling frustrated and unwelcome. If this event is going to be hosted again next year in partnership with Jellycat, I strongly encourage the organizers to reconsider their policies regarding restroom breaks, customer accommodations, event logistics, and gift distribution to create a better experience for attendees.

This is a cute shop with really fun paper, crafts, and small gifts. I got a journal and some cool sticky notes for my first friend and books for my other friends. The prices are okay. A little high, but i feel like that's pretty standard for fun and interesting paper these days. I mean, it's almost a pure luxury, since so much of what we do is digital now. I like that they have a clearance table, and they have a few fun little toys and candies too. Their selection of individual cards was quite nice, and the whole vibe of the store was inviting and comfortable. The place was clean, well lit, vibrantly colored, and the young woman who rung up my purchase was friendly and polite. I spent about $80 on two books, one fancy sticky note pad, one ultra fancy card, and a clearance journal. So... more than I intended to spend today, but since they were all gifts, it felt easier to justify. I also found out Paper Source is connected to (owned by? part of?) Barnes and Noble, which I hadn't realized before. Anyway, or was a fun shop and I'd stop in again if I need a gift. I'm not sure I'd come here for myself unless I had a very specific need for some high end artistic paper. They had some really gorgeous options that I just had no ideas for how to use right now.

Recommend: 100%. They're currently breaking sales records since June!…read more Presentation: 5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Efficiency: 5/5 Customer Service: 5/5 Price: N/A First B&N I've been to in years. Truly, this particular store is doing it correctly and the sales on this store are showing the proof. The only negative I'll present is the dysfunctional escalators. Neither worked. Being disabled, you're faced with the stairs in the meantime. Walking in, the visual presentation was colorful and entirely full of books, bestsellers and even an 'AZ' section which I admire for those coming in and wanting 'state' specific so that was a nice touch! The front checkout was fully-filled with numerous sales staff ready to go. The line moved quickly for checkout. I inquired about a couple of particular books and was led, instead of being told (which I think is more professional!) straight to the exact location. The store is amply filled with thousands of books, all very beautifully presented, cabinets have dedicated under lighting and a cafe and restroom upstairs across from a generous children's section. The store, minus the inoperative escalators was a beautiful store, very clean and room enough to get around with optional seating and of course a cafe! Love the build of this store, its inviting lighting and various items from Legos to small miscellaneous item such as Bible Book index tabs and ball caps. The store is very well designed and decorated. The only thing I'd offer to note, no one asked me about any Membership 'sales', in addition, I wasn't even asked if I had a B&N account or if I had ANY discounts, or senior citizens/AARP/military potential discounts; nothing. Being that this city is heavily presenced by both metrics, no communication was presented on this visit. Small thing but again, every other business promotes an 'Awards' program of some sorts but my particular visit, nothing was communicated. Nonetheless, this is a beautiful store and certainly recommend it.

I was pleasantly surprised to find this B&N and while I am sad that all the Forever 21s are now bankrupt, I'm glad there is a business in this location. This is a 2 story B&N and I was able to find all the books I was looking for and then some! I deducted one star because their escalators were not working and they only had one set of escalators you could walk up and down on. This made for some traffic. My other reason is for closing at 7pm on a Sunday. I know thats already one hour extra than the mall, but come on here, youre a bookstore, you could at least keep it open until 8pm?! I guess I am used to big city hours so that was kind of annoying. Otherwise, a really great B&N! They have an upstairs coffee shop and tons of people parked in here, reading, working, etc. Bathrooms also available, not as clean as the rest of Phoenix public bathrooms, but it wasnt gross like big city public bathrooms. Those are super yucky. I'd definitely come back here again when I need to find a book!
