Stayed in hotel 5, took me back to the 90s because this place has not been updated since. Thankful…read moreI had Clorox wipes with me because our room was given probably less than 5 mins to get cleaned. The furniture is outdated, the pillows have lumps, and I could hear everybody and their mamas conversations. When my husband went to check in they asked him weird questions like "Are you married?" Or "is your wife here" when he responded yes. Saying they wanted feedback for further hotels with pools. Trying to get him in for a free breakfast (probably for a timeshare.) Room has a fridge, coffee maker, ice bucket, two beds, two sinks, shower with tub, two tables, tv, lights, and closet. There is a balcony with a table and two chairs as well. Out in the hall you have the ice maker, microwave, and vending machine. Overall, not bitter but not worth the price we paid.

Julie Dillenbeck was incredibly accommodating, patient, and kind. She met us with calm reassurance and made what could have been an overwhelming situation feel manageable and positive. The following day, she and several other instructors remembered my daughter and made a genuine effort to help her feel comfortable and encouraged. That level of attention and care does not go unnoticed. Kindness truly matters, especially when little ones are trying something new and parents are holding their breath. We are so grateful for the experience they created for our family.

THE MOST UNQUALIFIED PERSON WORKING AT THE GUN COUNTER…read more I looked online for ammo specials and I saw Blazer 9mm ammo for $14.99. I drive down there and she Mike at the gun counter if they had any, because I didn't see any where the 9mm ammo is. He said "We don't have any". I told him that was odd because it was clearly on the website. He looked bothered about my question and he responded " They might come in tonight" and that the website doesn't update. I said ok and continued shopping. As I was walking I saw a display full of the Blazer 9mm ammo as advertised. I thought WTH! Mike just told me Academy never received a shipment. I bought some. I then picked up a soft rifle case for my new .22. I asked Mike if he had a Winchester Wildcat I can see to measure my new case, he immediately said "NO". I walked over to the .22's and the first thing I saw was a Wildcat. He has no clue and didn't bother to check. He got the rifle and attempted to disengage the bolt which he was unsuccessful. He didn't see the bolt release. Lol! You can't make this up!! He helped me measure but in our conversation he said "I don't own any firearms" but you're working in the firearm section right? Mike has no clue about anything in the firearm section and should be transferred to another section of the store. Anything but firearms and knives.

I've been a customer of ASO since they opened their doors in Richmond. Being the first location and…read morehave purchased from prior stores outside of Virginia I was excited when it arrived. But my last few visits were beyond disappointing. The front supervisor got rude when my wife were the only customers in the store and when we went around the maze to get to the register we stood there for nearly 4minutes while the front supervisor and four other employees just stood there gabbing and occasionally looked our way. When were asked for assistance the supervisor directed one of the employees to help us. The employee stated "She was going to lunch" WTH!!?? The supervisor immediately broke up the gabbers and left the area. We placed the $350 worth of products on the counter and left. When I called back to the store to speak with the front supervisor . She immediately got defensive. I then called the National Customer Service and was promised a call back from the Store Manager . When the SM finally called me I commented on how the store staff especially the management team had hit rock bottom. All I received were excuse after excuse and we want you back. I will never step into another ASO again! I have started shopping at CABELA'S, BASS PRO , and GREEN TOP for my sports and shooting needs.
