A friend recommended Fleet Feet ages ago but I didn't finally give them a try until I hurt my foot in the gym partially due to very old shoes. I came in on a Friday evening and two other customers were already there but Anthony did an amazing job of bouncing between us and providing excellent service. I explained my situation, what kind of workouts I typically do, and he walked me through the measuring process which consisted of stepping on a platform and walking a few strides over a cushiony mat. (Thank god, you do not have to run!) Anthony explained my readings & shortly came back with three awesome options he thought would be great for me. Unlike Cinderella, though, Anthony nailed it on the first shot. The CloudFlow shoes felt so amazing they made me realize just how old and worn out my other pair was! Due to some discrepancy in my arches, Anthony also recommended some insoles which he custom cut for my new kicks. In addition to that, I also snagged some workout gear from their selection. The shoes were $140, insoles $50, and the gear was $60, so not cheap but you can definitely tell it's quality stuff! I already wore everything for the next morning workout and it all felt great! Upon entering, there was a 20% off everything sign, so I was off to a good start. It's like Goodwill, but better. A good portion of the store is dedicated to shoes. It's nice to look for shoes with a box and both shoes. I mostly focused on the women clothes and found 3 nice summer blouses for work and white pants. All their blouses seemed to be $4.99 and they had tons of options. The pants were $6.99 plus the discount. I also found big shopping bags like the ones you get at Ross -2 for $1. Great deal. They had purses, backpacks, toys, kitchenware and more. It was worth the trip for me and plan on returning. I didn't take pictures. Next time.

I decided to visit ASAP. They have an online store too. I came to the store because I wasn't sure what to look for and I wanted to try on the slippers. Luca assisted me and was incredible. I told him exactly what I was looking for. He measured my feet and told me to always judge shoes while standing up. He grabbed a few different sizes for me so I could get a feel for what I liked. I appreciated how he explained that there were different widths based on letter. He was amazing. He held onto my slippers behind the counter so I could browse the store after. He kindly pointed out the different sections of the store too. When I was done exploring, the lady at the cash register was super kind. She helped me sign up for their rewards program. Well after the first time my daughter danced in her new shoes her left foot was bleeding and in a great deal of pain, so I made another appointment to get her a shoe which would work for her left foot. About a minute (no seriously...it was just a minute) after I made the appointment Rosemary herself called to talk to me about the problem. She assured me that she would figure something out and she did. She spent so much time with my daughter getting the exact right fit and really listening to my daughter every step of the way. I'm sorry to be carrying on so but I just am so grateful to Rosemary. If you need any ballet/dance supplies I think Ellman's Dance is worth the drive, all the staff I've worked with are great.
