The kind/stylin' person at the counter offered for me to take a picture of the set, so that I could think about it and come back later, should I decide to purchase it. She then laid the set out on a display tray, so that I could capture the set's essence in an iPhone 6 pic. Unfortunately, my forgetfulness made an appearance alongside my indecision and caused me to accidentally leave my earrings, the ones I was wearing when I walked in, on the counter. Also unfortunately, I was on a bus back to D.C. when I noticed I was earringless. I ran in here to get a gift card for the dudes in my life, and didn't think I'd "go shopping" here since Duluth Trading is known for their "tougher than an angry beaver's teeth" working apparel! My son-in-law buys all of his work clothes here, he's a welder and needs super heavy duty work pants, their famous Fire Hose workwear! When I walked in, a barrage of flannel, buffalo plaid, khaki and denim invaded me as I walked in the door! I've never seen so much plaid!! Raymond Barone would be in heaven here! Well, I thought, I'll be in and out of here quickly ... where's the check out stand! But ohhhh, was I wrong! They not only sell outdoor clothing, sturdy work clothing, cozy robes, slippers and outer wear... the aisles were packed with displays of yummy candies, soaps, lotions, gift ideas, pocket knives, wallets, belts, tools, suspenders, ornaments and so much more! My hands were so full in no time, I had to get a basket! I even purchased some durable dog toys and treats for my grand puppy! They have their signature mascot stuff toys for sale too!! The sweater arrived really quickly, sizing was off (because of my ordering) but they were really friendly to exchange. It's a small business so it's calling up and arranging, but everyone was very friendly and helpful that I talked to. The time for me to ship it back and get a new size was very reasonable. And I love my sweater, it's so soft, I can't wait to wear it in winter. They have a great selection in person and online, and the clothes are a good value for the price. I don't always buy, but I do always walk in and browse when I'm in the area.

Before putting the item into my cart, I clicked on the hyperlink for "Shipping" for their shipping policy and saw that items over $75 are shipped free (see screenshot). However, after adding the sweater to my cart, I then I realized that I was going to be charged $13.95 for shipping (see second screenshot). I honestly do not understand how a business can advertise free shipping within their shipping policy for orders over $75 and then charge $13.95 for an order that costs $127.46. Clearly this is an issue that needs to be addressed to avoid false advertising.

Because of it's well lit set up and the tunes being heard from the store lured us in to see what's up. Upon walking in we were immediately greeted. And asked if help is needed to let them know. This store looks to be black owned, something I love !! So we browsed and saw some haute (hot) kicks (shoes). Sales were being offered too. Now I love a sale and from a boutique shop...that's rare. Babe found two pair of shoes and I did as well. Shoes sold here are usually not in your chain shoe stores: Athletes Foot, Foot Locker or even DTLR. From a strictly shoe selection perspective, this place is 5 star IF you don't care for Jordan's…read more(like me). Prices were good and selection was surprisingly good. The only detractors were the really strangely lit room in the back, which made it really hard to see anything, and the fact that the giant TV in the front was being used like someone's private living room. It was a little awkward when I was in there with my wife and it starting blasting while people were eating and yelling in front of it. The guy at the register was nice though, and very helpful. I'll definitely be back.

They won't cover or reimburse me for the original shipping cost OR the shipping cost associated with returning them to get a "full" refund. That full refund would likely work out to actually be something like a 25-35 percent refund after me paying around 30 dollars for shipping and having absolutely nothing to show for it.

Seemed intentional. They do not want to help you firstly then you are only allowed to try on one shoe. I asked well okay then if we buy the shoes and try the second shoe on in the store before going outside and they don't fit may we exchange or return them? They said, no because then they would be dirty. So I said so then I can't return them so then they said nope you can't. Then she said, we recommend they recommend you try on the shoes before buying them. I said okay, may I have the other shoe so we can try them on? She said no you only get one shoe to try on. Side note, feet are not even the same size! Mind you, these were sandals for my toddler that's almost 2. I said I need to have her try on both cause of the elastic around the back and make sure she doesn't trip and fall when she's wearing the shoes. They IGNORED me and had get out energy. Regardless of it being a situation with a toddler, who is not allowed to try on shoes at a SHOE store?!!! Being that they were mean to a mom with a toddler made it even worse. Will NEVER come back to this store again and confused by such ill treatment. At the end it was clear this was all intentional poor treatment. What's crazy is ALL the staff were mean. So is the manager seriously allowing people to be treated this way?
